I gotta say the only reason it gets 1 star is for the bagel. I never eat @ this one, because I don’t frequent the mall. I found myself here today for a late lunch & I ordered what I always do. Chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese, and I like it cut & toasted twice. The blonde lady behind the counter burned it til it was black, & before she gave it back to me she was acting like it was my fault. Which is laughable. She told me she had to run back to it cause the toaster almost caught fire! My fault? I order the same thing every time and it’s never even a little bit burnt. They obviously have the setting too high or it’s old & glitchy. Anyway I asked her to toast it once. I tipped them. My daughter wanted to drop a dollar in the tip jar lol. I then thanked her and got«right.» That was her response. She was just very rude and snotty. Working with others just isn’t for everyone!

There aren’t many Panera Bread locations, especially a mall location, that deserves four stars. I’ve come here a few times to meet a friend for lunch during the work week as it is centrally located for the both of us and it has always been a top-notch Panera experience. Although in the mall, the location allows for a quick entrance/exit as it is located near a main light back out to Shelbyville Road. Huge perk to this location! The staff in here is typically friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Last time I was in here there were a few items listed on the menu that they were no longer serving; it would be beneficial if they would remove those prior to opening for the day as it adds frustration that could easily be eliminated. The food is quality Panera food and they get the food out to you very quickly(roughly 5 – 10 minutes). I recommend grabbing a seat as soon as you can as it gets very crowded during the lunch hour. All in all a solid Panera and worth a visit if in the area.

I don’t like chain restaurants — especially bakery/deli restaurants — but I feel like Panera Bread is a grow up’s McDonald’s. I know what I’m going to get: consistent service and quality without any surprises. I had to eat while I was at the Oxmoor Center so I popped into the Panera Bread for a half Turkey Bravo and Chicken Noodle soup. The whole experience with the staff was quick about things and friendly. My food was prompt and quick. The only complaints I have about this Panera Bread is that you need to know the secret code(written on your receipt) to use the bathroom which means I have to keep track of my receipt and they don’t seem to get the tables cleaned off quickly. It’s weird because everything else is on point in terms of efficiency and quality.

I was there yesterday afternoon. No Lobster Bisque? Are you serious? I had a panini and broccoli soup. Yikes, I miss the Panera Bread in Alexandria, VA.

I love Panera, so it’s practically impossible for me to give a bad review to them(not that I would ever need to… I’ve never had a bad experience). I found myself on Saturday morning at the mall before they opened. To kill time and avoid getting run over by the mall walkers, I dropped into Panera for coffee. This particular visit wasn’t anything special, but once in a while, my husband and I like to have breakfast together here. They’re always speedy, friendly, and the food is never a let-down.

They were out of the bread for my preferred sandwich, and when I didn’t at all like my hasty second choice made me a third sandwich. No charge and the guy at the register was very helpful and nice. Above and beyond!

The best Panera in Louisville. It’s large enough to meet friends and do business. The staff is very friendly. And, it’s in the mall! So, if you need study break you have a nice place to walk around for a bit.
