Delicious hot chocolate. Overall a fun experience ordering a drink inside a waffle cone cup, but the flavor was a bit too rich/sweet for my palette. Will definitely return cot a(normal) cup of their hot chocolate.

Whoever thought of this is a genius!!! The most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Worth every penny. There are so many options to choose from so I decided to by a dozen to take home. Can’t wait to try them all!

Overpriced for the quality. Poor service’s Waffle congee shots look good but don’t live up to expectations. Hot chocolate was watery

Even if you order a regular latte, you still get a cookie cup. What a lovely surprise. Located in the fabulous Farmer’s Market at the Grove.

These waffle shots are cute – it is not my thing. I got the speculoos cup and I couldn’t tell what the flavor I had just payed for. The cup tasted like espresso inside a cup with white chocolate. I wouldn’t return again to pay $ 6 for one of these. I feel a little duped paying so much for a single shot of espresso. If you are an avid coffee drinker, Zia Valentina’s waffle shot may not be the best option for you.

Terrible. The girl who prepared my drink seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. My chai latte ended up tasting like plain lukewarm milk.

Went here for a frozen cocoa, was good but def not worth the money. $ 6.50 for a medium cup of ice with cocoa in it. Get the shot instead. Kind of a zip.

A shot of espresso straight up is all I need sometimes. But this chocolate dipped waffle cup that serves as the vessel to the espresso is like a whole other espresso drinking culture! It’s still a shot of espresso, but then it’s also dessert, and that chocolate at the base that melted from the heat is so delightful!

We the human race used to be wasteful, drinking cups after cups of coffee and then throwing away the cups, leaving that final drop to waste — I mean that can’t be good right? poor… poor trees, fortunately in the trendy era we live in, we can now be «extra» environmental friendly and eat the cup at the end and finally sip that last drop, and save the world from devastation and the zombie apocalypse. Yes you heard me right, drink coffee and then eat the cup at Zia Valentina located at the world renown LA farmers market. Expressos and macchiatos are now jazzed up to the next level when it’s served in an adorable 4oz waffle cups triple coated with flavors such as chocolate and cookies and cream and it is delicious for a humble hollywood price of $ 4.50– $ 5. Yes to most peasants like me and you out there, this is phenomenally expensive! But the for the overpaid hollywood crowd this is like 5 cents. But let it be known, this $ 5 pricey coffee is an experience to try at least once in a lifetime. The taste of the wafer is definitely crispy and delicious. It taste almost like the ice cream wafer at any fancy ice cream shop. The taste is further elevated with the coating of cookies and cream, which seriously tasted like a good cookies and cream chocolate — think Ghirardelli or Lindt chocolate. Then the expresso shot which is made of fine Italian roasted coffee was strong and aromatic, slightly bitter yet enjoyable. Its a small little store located within the hundreds of food, drink and shopping vendor at the farmers market. They do offer other desserts, vegan desserts, a variety of normal coffee, teas, and baked goods. They are of course plastic payment friendly and cold hard cash friendly too. For those who happens to hate milk or can’t tolerate them, they do offer alternative milk such as almond milk, soy milk and lactose free milk. Definitely a foodie destination, and for coffee lovers I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

I have walked passed this place so many times and finally decided to try it. I was so pleasantly surprised! I actually don’t consume sugar so I was beyond excited to hear that they do not use sugar. The flavors were unreal and I still can’t believe they don’t use sugar. I’m a vegan and they had plenty of options for me. The service was amazing as well. I will absolutely be back and I hope they expand.

A lot has changed at the Grove/market since last visit but this was a cute welcome of a gourmet more adult soft serve. I am a huge Fan of their branding and think that their cone shot glasses are cute. Fair prices and good customer service.

I have visited this place twice so far and both times have been real impressed with their blended options. My favorite so far is the Frozen Hot Chocolate because it is not too sweet or too bland. They also have an Almond Milk Coffee that’s pretty good. They have very interesting sizes but don’t under estimate what their small size blended drinks can be. There are a few other options but so far its all I have tried. Feel free to ask for a free tasting of any current flavors they have. Staff here is real friendly and welcome you tasting all flavors. Prices are also not bad for what you get. This place is located in The Grove’s Farmers Market but keep looking and you will find it. I will be back here for sure, specially during hot days in the summer, well year round in Cali.

Had their lemon cupcake and have to say it was horrible and expensive. $ 4.75 for a cupcake where it tasted as if they bought them from smart & final and popped some flavored topping. The worst ever!!!

Tried their frozen cocoa on a waffle shot and it’s perfect. It’s a kinda humid day and tired from walking around and this drink is just the perfect treat. Refreshing, just the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely stop by here when I’m in the area to try their other drinks.

I am a fannnnnnn of their Frozen Hot Chocolate that is made out of 100% fresh & natural granita. If you are not sure of which one you would like to get they give you free tastings and you can choose which one you like best. You can even mix them up if you’d like. I also really liked the almond coconut latte.(YUMMY). I can’t wait to go again because next time I go I want to try their waffleshots! :)

I kind of feel like a fool for spending $ 5 for a shot of coffee in a waffle cone. I should have had that also very expensive Granita because I could have enjoyed it longer.

This amazing little food stand in the 3rd St. Farmer’s Market offers some sweetly unique and surprisingly healthy delights to kick off your day or complete your evening after a long day of shopping. The menu, while small, offers some deliciously interesting delectables, such as gluten-free vegan cupcakes that come in options like Banana Bread & Fudge, Chocolate Coconut, or S’Mores. It also boasts items such as the Oatmeal Coconut Cookie Sandwiches, Healthy Oatmeal/Granola in a cup, huge Chocolate Chip or Oatmeal Cookies, and even savory options like whole grain croissants, & flaky pastries that come in flavorful combinations like Mozzarella & Tomato, Mushroom & Potato, & Olive with Feta Cheese– never had I tasted such a savory, flaky pastry. The flavors are very prevalent in each one. They’ll even warm it up for you. My favorite offering, however, was the granita, which is basically a healthier version of a slushy, with all that cool, grainy, icy texture, without the nasty additives– everything here is made with all natural & wholesome ingredients. My favorite was the Coffee Granita, but they also offer fruitier options like strawberry, citrus, & a few others. You can even mix & match for an exciting twist to your slushy. If none of that strikes your fancy, you can always go with one of their organic teas or freshly-brewed coffees. The price is a little up there, but the quality and overall yummy factor is well worth it. So, go on. Splurge a little.

Stopped by while browsing at the farmer’s market and had a sample of the granita. It was delicious and I can’t wait to sip on that in the summer. We got a couple of their vegan and gluten free chocolate chip cookie sandwiches and they were really tasty! I will definitely go back for those again. The staff were super nice and I’m looking forward to trying other items next time.

So my friends and I went down to the LA Farmers Market and we stumbled upon this place(they were offering samples and it was too hard to resist!) I had a taste of the Coffee granita, which I felt was just okay, I could probably find better elsewhere. One of my friends got the mango(?) one and the other got a pineapple(?) one. I thought these fruit flavors were a lot better, especially the mango which had a nice rich kind of mango consistency to it. The pricing was a bit high for it though, with both sizes being around the $ 5 mark(the larger one only being slightly more expensive than the smaller one). Overall a cool place to get a granita but not something I’d go out of my way to have.
