You gotta love a good «corner sto». I first started going here a few years ago, when the current owner, Daniel, bought the place. Daniel is the nicest guy and he has worked hard to tidy up the place and keep it well-​stocked for his neighborhood customers. West Market has an excellent selection of sodas and juices, along with lots of tasty snacks. This is the only place that I have ever seen the Red Velvet flavor of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. In addition to foodstuffs, I have popped in to pick up random items like a sewing kit, Christmas gift boxes, and nail trimmers. Everything is reasonably priced (many items are around $ 0.99) and Daniel is always there with a smile and wave. The main thing West Market lacks is an alcohol license, so you can’t buy booze there. Also, Daniel doesn’t stay open very late so do your shopping early. Despite those two issues, West Market is an above average convenience mart and Daniel will make your visit a pleasant one.
