Oh please, she’s exaggerating a bit. It’s not THAT bad. The people who own the store are nice people and even though people stand outside sometimes, they honestly don’t bother you if you aren’t bothering them. The worst they could do is ask if you spare any change which most of the time they don’t. I often come here for snacks from time to time since it’s walking distance from my house.
Used to be owned by Ethiopians, but some Koreans purchased ownership. They’re all nice folks. Have never had an issue no matter what time of day I’ve gone.

Pricey and with a tiny selection of liquor and groceries, this probably won’t be your first choice to grab essentials. Also, there are usually at least one or two questionable/​unsavory characters standing out front. But in a pinch, you might find what you want. They have a decent variety of sodas and juice.
