We enjoy living here. The apartments are all refinished inside. The prices are very reasonable. Easy parking, though it is tandem. There’s lots of street parking so guests haven’t been an issue at all. We had some problems in the beginning getting in touch with the office when we were trying to make appointments to view the apartment. No one called me back. I was wary of that. However, for the price and finishes, we rented anyway, and I’m glad we did. We haven’t had that problem since. The grounds are very lush and green. The location in Granada Hills is the best. Numerous washers and dryers in the complex. We can walk across the street and there’s everything you could need in a really nice shopping strip. Groceries, drug store, coffee shop, hair dresser, lots of food options lots more. Very dog friendly and the other tenants have been friendly.

1 star is being generous. My wife was doing laundry and walked away for a few minutes and came back to one of the worst things I have ever laid my eyes on. Someone had thrown poop in the washer while our clothes were being washed. Yes, poop. Human poop? Not sure but it was a lot of poop. Hopefully dog poop, as if that makes it better. Completely ruined all of our clothes. We spoke with management in the building about it and they said there is nothing they can do but they could give us our quarters back. Woohoo, we just lost hundreds of dollars of clothes but those quarters might come in handy. Then let me add that they have been repainting the building for over two months. We first got notice that it would last two weeks. The result? Guys walking around our balcony and knocking on our window while I am walking around in the buff at 7 in the morning. We had to move everything off our patio and keep it inside for over a month. I felt bad for the older tenants that had a lot of furniture and plants inside. Even better was when they finished we moved it all back, and they came a week later and said they needed it moved back in yet again. Add to the mix all the shenanigans with people fighting at 2 am in the parking lot and this place sucks. Did I forget to add that a lot of these apartments sit over a carport? Yeah, the same structure type which collapsed on people during the Northridge earthquake. Well, the owners must have figured that out and started replacing the rotting wood structure beams. But guess what? They only replaced about half so I’m not feeling exactly confident this place won’t fold like a cheap suit when the next big one comes. Any potential new tenants have been warned.
