This is legitimately the best place around. I use them to send corporate gifts and to buy for our home. Rose is amazing as a consultant and always has great suggestions. She’s even gone so far as to contact the manufacturer of the margarita mix we love to ask questions for us. I highly recommend this place for all your needs. How could anybody be… bitter?
The Cocktail Lab has all the ingredients for turning your kitchen into a craft-​cocktail hotspot!
No, you won’t find booze, ill-​fitting vests, pill-​box hats or dubious mustaches here.
You WILL find a dizzying selection of bitters, syrups and mixers from every corner of the globe.
They carry some bitters I’ve seen nowhere else. Right now, the made-​in-​California Bitter Queens Tobacco is flying off the shelves.
Picking just the right bitter for that Elder Fashioned is no easy task. Fortunately, there’s a full tasting bar of bitters in the back! (What’s an Elder Fashioned? They carry copies of Death & Co.‘s recipe book, where you can find out!)
Besides the bitters, they carry beautiful bar-​ware that make me want to hide my beat-​up Boston. Copper, Brass, and stainless stirrers, strainers, and shakers will make you look great in front of your guests. Pocket torches will let you flame citrus peels and light candles like a champ all night long.
What are you waiting for? Get shaking!

Discovered this amazing store by accident today. I drive by here all the time and did not realize it was a cocktail store. Someone told me to stop in here today and I was definitely in for a wonderful surprise.
The place is great. I need to come back when I have two hours to kill and can peruse every wild item on the shelves. The choices in mixers are overwhelming (in a good way).
I purchased a 1920s lemon juice squeezer that I just unpacked and tried. I LOVE IT! It is now a critical part of my cocktail apparatus.
Eric is a super nice guy. He loves his business and is passionate about mixology and wonderful things (all cocktail related).
I will definitely return. I highly recommend this place — HIGHLY!

The owner was so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of mixers to make you a mixologist in your own home, as well as a great selection of glassware and cocktail accessories. Highly recommend stopping by.

The shop owners are two sisters and they are amazing! My boyfriend and I went in to see if we could find a few Christmas Gifts. The shop is filled with amazing finds for gifts for others (and yourself!).
Of course we bought a few gifts of our own. They had a vintage set of cocktail glasses from the 70’s. A fantastic price. The shop owners personally go out to flea markets to look for vintage cocktail glasses and bar items.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re stocking up your bar.

This is a beautiful little shop with amazing cocktail paraphernalia. A cocktail bitters paradise! Wow, they have a huge selection! They have every type of barware imaginable, vintage glasses, tons of craft mixers and soon they will actually sell liquor. The gals that own the place are the best. so knowledgeable and so nice. It’s incredible to have this in this part of town because there was nothing near unless you went way out to Barkeeper… until now! Woohoo!

This place is great! So many awesome bitters, tinctures, shrubs, mixers, etc. Some of these are hard to find and can mostly be bought only online, so it’s nice to have someplace local to pick them up. They also have pretty fantastic high-​end barware. Staff is super friendly too!

I first came across this store online. After browsing their amazing selection online I just had to visit in-​person and get myself some scrumptious ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw an adorable, well-​decorated store. I spoke with one of the co-​founders, I believe Eric was his name, who helped me pick out stuff for spicy margaritas (my favorite!) and introduced me to the most delicious holiday pie bitters you can imagine. Sampling one single drop literally tasted like a piece of pie. I couldn’t resist. Although the prices are somewhat high, all the products seem to be from small, craft manufacturers and made from quality ingredients, which I like. They also have some really beautiful barware. I will definitely be returning.
Oh! And the tobacco vanilla candle smelled amazing! I saw it on Unilocal and was very skeptical… tobacco, really… but wow!

Lovely service and stock. Great selection and understanding of their products including incredible bloody mary options, and a magnificent line of shrubs. Very sweet and helpful with a lovely tasting table to help make decisions. Glad they’re in the neighborhood!

Open and airy, this gleaming space on Beverly Blvd has the genteel look of an old-​fashioned apothecary and oozes accessibility, thanks in no small part to the friendly staff that goes out of its way to help guide you through a rather impressive selection of bitters and mixers and such sourced from far and wide.
Overwhelmed by all the choices? Fear not. A long table in the middle of the room is chockablock with sample bottles, allowing you to open and sniff to your heart’s content the various wares before making your purchasing decision. In this regard The Cocktail Lab is a bit like a Sephora– a place to explore at your leisure the magical world of scents and synesthesia.
It promises to be a valuable resource, a one-​stop shop, for mixologists both professional and amateur.

Visited this place for the first time and I absolutely love it! Beautifully styled with chic yet approachable products. They have (almost*) everything you could possibly need to throw an amazing cocktail party, to spruce up your own bar at home, or to just get someone an extremely cool gift. Lining the walls and their center tasting table are all the cocktail accompaniments (olives, salts, etc.) you can imagine plus unique bitters, mixers, and syrups, in packaging that looks elegant with some saloon-​style snazziness. I opted for a brown sugar, lime and ginger mixer and if I had less restraint I would have purchased what looked like a phenomenal bloody mary mix. My companion was particularly fascinated by their alcohol vaporizer and was already thinking about gifts for his friends.
The woman who helped us out was extremely knowledgeable and mentioned that in the future they want to do cocktail parties delivered to your door and in-​store mixology courses. How cool!
(*They’re hoping to get their liquor license by the holidays!)

This place rocks!!! If you are a fan of craft cocktails, the Cocktail Lab has it all — mixers, bitters, cool cocktail gadgets. The Bloody Mary extract I bought makes great micheladas and the Southside mixer is great for rum punch.
I wandered in on the first day that they were open and they were still moving in. Even though they were really busy, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Everything they suggested has been great. I’m looking forward to stocking up in my next visit. It’s about time LA had a great cocktail store.
