The fried chicken was fried skin. There was no value $ 13 with that meal. I was not able to return to the and I tried to contact Corporate Office, which was radio silence. Tossed into the trash and never again. How can you feel proud of selling garbage to customers? Because this was not good food quality. As customers dined, homeless people were asking for food and money.

If I could give this place zero stars for service I would. I’ve come her on 3 separate occasions at lunch or dinner rush and they never have a full order of grilled chicken ready. I’ve been told 15 — 20 minutes every time. It defeats the convenience of drive through. I thought I’d be smart this time and call ahead before I drove out of my way for nothing. They told me they had more than enough for my order. I got to the drive through within 10 minutes of calling and of course, they didn’t have more than 4 pieces of grilled chicken. For a place with«pollo» in the name, it’s really frustrating that they never have pollo. I will never be back.

Chicken is good most of the time. However, the service here stinks. Be prepared to wait forever for your order — regardless if it’s dine-in or drive through.

The food was good, the drive thru cashier had a horrible attitude, seem like she forgot or never been told that customers are the real reason of the business, sad customer service, manager please train Nely…

The experience or food deserves no star. I was amazed by the attitude of a young woman who took my order. She appeared annoyed when asked what was inside certain foods that were written in another language. Even yelling to the back, with a disgusting look because of my questioning. I also inquired about spicy self-serve condiments, she responded there were none. I made a minimal order in an attempt to try a new restaurant, despite what appeared to be lack of knowledge on her part. Later I found spicy condiments and when our order was ready to my surprise we did not know the order was ready because it was not spoken in English. Having rental property in the community I am appalled by their behavior. I will never patronize this establishment again and encourage others to not tolerate poor serve with attitudes.

I give them three stars because the chicken was good the last couple of times I’ve eaten here. This time not so much. First, everyone does not speak Spanish, so maybe the employees should ask before they start speaking Spanish to the customers. Second, I ordered chicken breast, they did not have any so I got a leg, thigh, and fries. The fries were luke warm and the chicken not so tasty. Again, the employee spoke to me in Spanish. I think I’ll go back once more in the future and then decide if this place is worth my money.

I really like the food at el pollo campero. The plantains and campero beans are great and the chicken is top notch. The problem with this location is when I come they are almost always out of chicken. I have to get what they have instead of what I want. It’s a chicken place I don’t understand how they constantly are out of chicken.

I order a family 10 pices. 5 pices original and 5 grilled. Its the worst i ever tasted. The grilled was burned and the original swimming in oil. So so bad some one need to check their quality!

It was about 9p.m. & I wanted some fried chicken but didn’t feel like driving to Popeyes or Church’s or KFC. I thought okay this place gets a moderate amount of traffic I’ll stop. Bad idea!!! My fries were freezing cold and HARD, my chicken was even colder. I thought maybe it was like a left over from the previous night and it was just sitting underneath the red light all day and they decided to give it to me I will not go back I will not recommend this place as matter fact I’m not going to even see it as I drive by.

Having tried the others Campero in the city, this is the one that tastes more like the ones in Central America. They seriously need to work in their Cole slaw, why in the world would you change the original«ensalada» and add an abomination like humongous chunks of green pepper to it? No, no, no. Buy the chicken here and the Cole slaw in KFC, you’ll be happy.

Came from a recommendation of a friend. Located in a very busy plaza that has Walgreens, Starbucks and Jamba Juice. THIGHCOMBO — comes with a side and tortillas/bun — juicy and quite tasty — the skin is probably the skin as it’s different than other typical fried chicken joints(ie KFC, Church) — my side of CAMPERORICE was pretty good for the flavor SERVICE: pretty fast service. Got my order ready within 5 minutes of ordering. They were also very helpful and spoke decent English. There is also a self-serve salsa station which is nice. ENVIRONMENT: large area for seating. the place is also pretty clean which is good. Overall good place to grab lunch. The 1 piece portions may not be sufficient for a full belly but it’ll get you a good snack.

The chicken is finger licking good. It’s not healthy — it’s deep fried — but it’s delicious. The seasoning is great, and it doesn’t need the salsa — which by the way, is extra spicy. I don’t recommend going through the drive-thru because their system doesn’t work well and the server had a difficult time getting my order.

Great fried chicken. Perhaps among my top 3 favorite places. The chicken tacos are also amazing. I also tried the rice here, and unfortunately it was TERRIBLE. Stick with the chicken and avoid the sides with all your might. Also of note: It took FOREVER to get our food. Good thing we were not pressed for time. tl;dr Chicken — Yum Rice — Yuck Service –meh

good but greasy tasty chicken! My sister took me there(she’s vegetarian) and had plantains– GOOD! The chicken tastes good but the grease made me physically ill. If you want plantains as side(on meal) there’s a surcharge! Overall: ok & if I have too…

Heard from colleagues that they sell great fried chickens. My trip there last Thursday turned out to be a total disappointment. Service was bad; the girl who took my order sounded like she was given me a marching order. No smile at all. We were there for about 6 – 7 mins and my co-worker was approached twice by people asking for money. Lastly, the chicken does not taste anything special. Won’t go again.

I know this is fast food. Nevertheless, Pollo Campero deserves 5 stars for taste and price. I rolled through Inglewood up to no good today. The chicken was moist, juicy and flavorful. It’s one of the best fried chicken places I’ve tried. Pollo Campero serves a wide variety of food, including empanadas. Clean bathrooms and good service. Wednesday special: $ 1.40 for leg and thigh.

I first came here in October of this year and I have enjoyed my experiences so far. My first experience was so-so but I liked that crispy chicken, self-serve soda fountain, spacious seating and clean bathrooms. The place itself was great including the idea of a manager asking helping on my order and treating customers well. The place was clean, the employees were clean and in uniform. The food was served was just so uniform. Plenty of parking as it is in a huge lot within a mega-striplet. I am not sure how to describe their chicken. If you take real old fashion southern deep fried chicken compared to Mexicali Mexican pollo pan fried without breading, somewhere in the middle is the taste spectrum for this chicken. The fries were inside-the-box fries but very crunchy and well-seasoned. Their fountain soda passes the test for good sugar and carbon ratio, imo. They serve corn tortillas, the healthier tortilla which can be seen as good or bad. I love their crispy and lightly salted fries, no flour tortillas but like their corn tortillas, not homemade or grilled on a pan but still ok. While I do like Southern fried chicken drenched over a basket of fries I also dig this Pollo Campero style. The chicken may taste a bit dry for some taste, so, to each their own. How to dine out in South Central A place where good tasty food is fundamental No, it is more than just one fry cook Take a closer look at the grease shook Rule number one, eating must be fun To dine and your meal will be fine Get change from your glove compartment Or Visa, they will accept it If you are thin get the fried goodies If not stick with the corn tortillas Watch out for the bill It’s under ten bucks with fiscal appeal Have some more questions That’s just the first lesson On going to dine In South Central, that is how you dine Rule number two: don’t eat somewhere shotty Especially a diner with a broken potty Cause their food wont make me rap And foodies get hoodwinked and bill-jacked Youll wind up fed Just to be safe no mountain dew code red Cause most foodies eat not In my neighborhood or out in Watts Cooked up with rice and beans Crispy chicken you need to start eating If chicken breast is not your spark Make sure you ask for only dark But if you need to complete your plate Ask for the combo still under 8 And if so, I also want to go And we shall dine in South Central Rule number three: food gets caught up And the lines are not something I thought up Even if I just want some rice But the chicken is prime merchandise We discern Cause Pollo Campero is chicken that makes me yearn Waiting for a foodie like you to seize And start learning chickenese With non-breaded chicken like no other Maybe as good as the one from my Mother So don’t take your plate for granted Cause it’s my butt got here and is now planted You can take this chicken near and far But don’t eat it while driving your car Cause you may get grease on your shirt And you will dirty going back to work So eat slow and be calm Cause the chicken may cause you alarm You say, the Unilocalers can eat fried Shish, the Unilocalers better try, in South Central

How can you have only legs and thighs available at dinner time? I really wanted this chicken and was disappointed. Everyone does not like or eat dark meat!
