Eww no, their bread is nasty. I had to throw it away. I wish they had better bakeries around the area. Never again

My go to place for pupusas! Place your order by phone because they are made to order! And 20 minutes later pickup your hot and cheesy pupusas, yum! This weekend I got their breakfast burrito which was good and very filling! Also ordered cheese pupusas and spinach and cheese pupusas, these are my personal favorites! !But they have other choices of filling such as meats or beans! Both were very good and piping hot when I got back home! This is a nice little spot with very friendly staff and service! I have been going here for a few years since i moved in the area and food is always good!

Although this place gets two stars, the pupusas are DELICIOUS! Probably the best thing they have. Everything else is mediocre and extremely overpriced. The Salvadoran items are definitely authentic, but everything else such as burger combos are just downright horrible. I come here all the time for the pupusas since they are cheap and very tasty, but a while back I ordered chili cheese fries that were nothing less of disappointing. They charged above average so I expected some bomb fries, but instead got what seemed like canned chili on top of a handful of fries. I could have easily got what I paid for at Tams or Tommy’s, but it was the closest thing at the time being. So there you have it. Also, there isn’t a designated parking for the place, and hard to find any in the residential streets depending on the day and time. Update: The pupusas are now $ 2.10. Man, they just keep raising the prices. Unfortunately, I’ll be coming here even less now.

Came on a Saturday morning to order some breakfast, got the triple breakfast, asked for scrambled eggs and wheat toast, about 12mins later I got my order and left, was really dissapointed as I got some soggy greasy hash browns and bacon, not really a picky person but how hard is it to mess up hash browns? They seem stingy as I only got one pack of ketchup and no salt and pepper, plus only two napkins, I don’t even think I finished it as I think the greasy hash browns put me in a bad mood lol

Went in the first time and it was decent. Decided to try again, the worst. Never again. How did the burrito prices go up $ 2 and now they’re gonna charge me extra for debit?! So now my total is $ 10? For something advertised as 5.99! The food was bland and overpriced for the portions. Id say skip it and go to chipotle where for those $ 10 i could have added guac

Came here to have a pupusa lunch with my parents. Their pupusas were sooo good and very decently priced! I tried the cheese with beans and cheese with loroco, and I really loved the cheese with loroco(First time trying loroco). Both were really good. My boyfriend tried one of the meat ones and said they were really good too. Their chile and curtido(pickled cabbage and carrot salad) were also very tasty! The staff was also very nice and helped answer any questions we had. If I’m ever in the area again and with a pupusa craving, I will most definitely return here.

Whenever I’m feeling like some Central American comfort food — this is the place I’ll come to get it. The pupusas and tortillas are the best I’ve had to date. Located amongst a very small strip of stores, El Arca is easy to miss as it is a quite tiny and unassuming place on 54th St. However, when you enter the restaurant, the bright yellow walls and friendly service embrace you right away and the scent of home cooking filling the air makes your mouth water. Pupusas are $ 2 and they make them fresh. My personal faorites: Chicharrón con Frijol, — the Chicharrón con Frijol is amazing, I have to close my eyes as I savor the comforting flavors of pork and beans encased in the fluffy pillow of masa. The Queso con Loroco is very good and the loroco(a plant native to El Salvador which is very mild tasting) adds an interesting textural bite. Revueltas — with mixed ingredients of cheese, beans, and chicharrón. This combo is so good I usually do the Happy Dance while eating. Another favorite of mine is the Pollo ala Parrilla(Grilled Chicken). Boneless, grilled chicken served with sweet grilled onions on top and beans and rice. The chicken is fork tender and seasoned to perfection. Oh wow, how can I forget the homemade tortillas? They are fresh, thick, pillowy soft and simply amazing! It’s the type of tortilla that other tortillas only dream of being. I only deduct a ½ star due to location and parking. However, this place is the quintessential hole in the wall joint with delicious foods and friendly service. I recommend El Arca to my foodie friends.

The BEST papusas I’ve ever had! Armando, the owner is AMAZING! They would have gotten 5 stars if they weren’t so greasy, but otherwise, SOOOOGOOD!

This place is awesome. The kind of place you wouldn’t go into based on the look of it, but oh my god it is amazing. Homemade food, I haven’t had anything that wasn’t delicious. The pupusas are awesome, the breakfast burrito is so good I have no idea what they do to it, and their huevos rancheros is better than any I have ever tried. Plus the people are so nice. I highly recommend it.

I ran into to this place after stumbling off the bus still half-drunk from the night before. It was the only place on the block that had coffee, so I made a beeline to the counter. I ordered a pupusa de ayote and a large coffee. The coffee sucked, but the pupusa was fantastic. Ayote is a very distinctive variety of squash, and the cotija cheese and corn cake were top notch. The pupusa came with a spicy cabbage salad. I’m a sucker for spicy cabbage. It really speaks to the Korean in me. This mini feast set me back two dollars. I’m hoping the cabbage salad masked the pronounced booze-stench emanating from my skin at the volunteer orientation I attended right after, but I doubt it.
