Peet’s Coffee & Tea

This is place has by far the best coffee in the area. Convenient parking and delicious Mendochino Farms sandwiches right across from it.

Perfect location. Peets Coffee exceeded my expectations. Baristas were kind and polite. They knew their menu and knew how to manage the flow of their customers.
A++! Good coffee plus non snooty service. Coffee snobs will hate this, but I would rather get my cup at Peets than Verve in the Farmers Market across the street!

I’ve been a long time fan of Peet’s. They have great qualify coffee and craft drinks with care. The baristas are always very knowledgeable with their products. This location is very cute and full of kind and friendly faces. I’ve been several times and each time the staff was wonderful and great at recommending new drinks!
Highly recommend for a well-​crafted beverage and great service.

To begin with they have a customer unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude shift manager name Kelsey. She seems to forgot that they have a Starbucks cross street and tons of coffee shops inside the farmers market so she cant impose her way or highway to client with her arrogance.
They have a very slow internet.
Their pastries are sold off the window that is expose to air and flies and also dried up if you get one around 1 PM as its not a close window internally.
They always brew the same bitter coffee, and sometimes they only brew decaf.
Their bathroom have a very confusing lock, that you don’t know if its locked once you are inside and you don’t know if someone is in if you are outside.
Above all it is absolutely not good for working, becasue they police your coffee and clock your sit, like a meter, and after 30 minutes or as soon you finish your coffee whichever come first, that Kelsey person come to your table and ask you to buy more or to leave, unbelievable! I understand that they must make numbers, but C’mon, you cant coffeeboard people. Even if the place is half empty or your head spinning becasue one can drink as much coffee, and you are in the middle of a project or a meeting. That was the most shocking, insolence and unwelcoming action from a barista. Two thumps down.

Haven’t been to a Peet’s in a long time. I’m usually the run of the mill Starbucks guy because I live within walking distance of one. Janeane Garofalo has one in her living room apparently! :) I digress. I ordered their Salted Caramel Macchiato with soy. Usually soy is so hard to make creamy, I had to ask the barista whether it was actually soy. The foam was so fluffy with creamy, I couldn’t believe it. The chunks of salt on top of the caramel, just made it a dream to drink in the cold cold morning we’ve been having in Los Angeles. The barista (beanie, nose ring, latina?) was super nice and caring. I wanted to stop by this morning, but woke up late so I had to rush to work. I’ll be back. They have other treats like fruit & nut scones, canelés, and Chobani yogurt to round out your breakfast.

Stopped in for a latte after doing some shopping at Traders. Luckily pretty empty when I entered. Two workers inside and two customers in front. Service very slow though. My vanilla latte came out very sweet. Could barely finish my drink. I like the convenient location. Might have been just an off day so would stop in again.

I am a tea fan and I am disappointed over the thin assortment of teas here. What’s wrong with peets. You used to be like 20 – 30 varieties deep of teas. Darn mighty label is ruining peets tea selections.
That rant aside… service was top notch fast and courteous.
Tea selection and quality is sliding down hill.

This place rocks! The coffee is always freshly brewed and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I visit this location daily and there’s nothing like enjoying a great cup of coffee in a clean and friendly environment. The manager Alex as well as the rest of the staff are on top of it all and always insure that your visit and experience are the best. Highly recommend

I love the matcha green tea latte. The staff is very friendly and often recommend drinks and foods. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea!

I love all the people who work here. They really do give «service with a smile.» They make my drinks amazing every morning I come! I love this Petes!

I come here almost everyday. Their coffee is so tasty, strong & they always make it PERFECT. Another big plus: the staff is always soooo kind & friendly: I actually look forward to seeing them every morning!

What happened to this location? Where did all the very friendly and nice staff go? I go here often to buy the Garuda Blend to brew at home. With your half pound or pound of coffee, it comes with a free small coffee or tea.
My past few trips have included 1 star service. I have seen people walk out because they were so slow. Once you make it to the counter to order, they are rude with no smiles. Other times they tried to charge me for the complimentary small coffee that comes with my purchase. I even had to say, «I’ve been coming this location since it opened, and I’ve never been charged for the small coffee.» The worst part is that they were not apologetic.
At the end of day, Peet’s has great coffee, which is why I can’t give it a 1 star average. I will still support Peet’s but will go to the Beverly Hills or Larchmont location. If customer service doesn’t ruin your coffee run, then I guess you can still go here.

Great little shop! The employees are friendly, and I love their coffee! I recently tried their new Black Tie, and I highly recommend it on a hot day.
Parking in the Trader Joe’s lot and there are a few metered spots on Fairfax and 3^rd St. if you can snag one.

They’ve never heard of a London Fog. What they made me seemed to have resembled a London Fog… close enough. Beggers can’t be choosers. They were really nice and friendly and the prices are reasonable. It is a chain.

I took the ice blended mocha, taste great (even with almond milk and no cream).

I love love love Peet’s coffee, however, this location — not so much.
The customer service is just off. No smile, etc. Oh, and they got my bf’s drink wrong and when we told them they gave major attitude and managed to whisper and laugh amongst themselves. We don’t have time to deal w that crap. I don’t come here to spend money and deal w bad customer service or people w their noses in the air. You work at a coffee shop, it’s your job to be pleasant and make the drinks correctly. If you were upset you had to make the drink over, maybe follow directions next time.
I’m disappointed and it’s not the first time. Unfortunately my bf and I live so close to this Peet’s but it’s ok we’ll go to a further location.

Even though this place is a little small, it is really nice. The staff are really friendly and some of the girls are really cute. Great place to hang out for a bit before shopping in the area.

I love coffee! One of my friends recommended Peet’s and I decided to try it.
I’ve visited this location twice in two weeks, which is a lot because I live far away.
I tried a caramel macchiato with soy milk and I couldn’t believe how foamy the soy milk was. OMG!!! it was heaven.
I had to have my fix again so I ordered a 2% milk caramel macchiato and it was twice as much foam! yumminess! I liked the soy one better. It was a lighter, fluffier texture.
My friends ordered a Mocha freddo and a vanilla freddo with caramel. The vanilla freddo was good.
The price is a bit higher than starbucks but it is worth every penny because the coffee is way better quality. I can’t wait to go back!

It’s Pete’s coffee… strong and delicious.
Barista and my sister became fast friends, and she made both our beverages to perfection. My coffee with an inch and a half of extra foamy steamed soy was DELICIOUS! Steamed to perfection. I hate how Pete’s doesn’t have vanilla powder so I always settle for chocolate powder. Not the end of the world.
Great outdoor seating area. People watching is fantastic and ambiance is very pleasant. Inside is bright with floor to ceiling windows.
My sister couldn’t stop gawking at all the smoking hot guys who came in for a coffee or were sitting inside working. So if you’re a single woman don’t forget your mascara.

Had coffee 3 times last week at this Peets.
