I’ve sent many artists I work with here — I love the staff as they are very personable. The studios are gorgeous, impeccably clean and up to date. The kitchen is about a million times nicer than my home and they always have cookies and coffee which are 2 out of my 3 food groups(the other being pizza which they will gladly order for you).

I’m famous! Ok, not really just an audience member on the doctors tv show but it was fun and the staff tries to interact with people to keep them from boredom while waiting. No consolation prize for joining this time. parking I did not seem to have a problem finding within blocks of the surrounding residential areas.

I really like this place. It has an amazing history and you don’t see many of these studios around anymore. I have a home studio that I record and produce records in, and I needed to book out Paramount for mixing one of them. They have a top notch tech there that helped me get all my stuff together and the managers of the studio were able to refer me to great engineer to mix my record for only $ 30 per hour. I used Studio B upstairs, which was used by Michael Jackson in the 1970’s for his lead vocal on ABC123. Amazing!!! This only cost me $ 65 per hour. They have other more expensive studios, but this room was perfect for me. I spoke to Adam, and they have another guy named Mike who seems cool also that works in the office.

Paramount Recording Studios is legendary. I cannot imagine another recording studio in the world with a more illustrious client list than Paramount – Bob Dylan, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson(Thriller), Aerosmith, Diana Ross, Jay-Z, Frank Zappa … the list goes on and on … From the outside, you’d never know it; like most independent recording studios, its façade isn’t colorful or flashy or even marked at all. In fact, it’s located in a rather down-and-out section of Hollywood, on Santa Monica Boulevard, two storefronts east of Vine. However, for the lucky few who get to step inside the studio, the experience is incredible. The interior of Paramount is truly a 1960’s-70s time capsule — downright bachelor-pad, complete with wood paneling, fierce accent lighting, deep red leather couches, and platinum record-lined walls. The energy is electric and the air smells decidedly like the interior of Graceland. Naturally, don’t expect to see Paramount … well … ever. That is, unless you happen to be an employee, or one of the entourage of the latest music sensation who has booked the space.
