Northridge Diagnostic X-Ray

I got sent here by my doctor right after my visit with him to get some X-​rays. I liked that I could just walk in without making an appointment so that I didn’t have to miss work and that I could get it all done in one day. The receptionist was friendly and quick, but the waiting room was very cramped and small. I waited no more than 20 minutes so I was happy with that. My X-​ray tech was nice and accommodating, my only issue was filth. I was there for foot X-​rays so that required that I be barefoot. I literally put one foot on the ground and lifted it only to find filth all over my foot! Like a lot of grit, hair and just dirt! It was so gross! I didn’t even want to put my socks back on after that because my feet got so dirty just stepping, not even waking, on their floor IN THE XRay ROOM! It was only about 10:30 am and they open at 8:00 am so it’s not like it was the end of day! They had been opened for less than 3 hours, do they not sweep at the end of each day? It felt like months worth of dirt! Also they don’t even wipe down or sanitize the foot X-​ray machine that you have to step on with bare feet. It’s clear plastic that you step on so you can actually see other foot print marks and dirt! It was just really gross and I couldn’t wait to get out of there to disinfect my feet!

Wow, this place is a joke. Very bad customer service you will start getting annoyed /​headache after a couple of minutes because the staff TALKS SO MUCH, SO LOUD.

WOW! AVOID IF POSSIBLE! Ive been a patient of Northridge diagnostic for years. This is my first time at this location. This isnt the main building, this building is located across the street. They only do x-​rays at this location. They dont take appointments, and only have one tech working! SO, needless to say, everyone was told that there will be over an hour wait. This is an example of horrible protocol! I was told that they have other locations but if they have the same protocol, it will be pretty much of the same. After having my xray taken by a super friendly tech, she told me that they DO make appointments. I was told over the phone to ‘Just walk in’. Again, another example of poor management and protocol here. Another Pet Peeve of mine when visiting ANY medical facility: Respect the privacy of the patient… Yelling over the counter at patients that are seated and asking them what they are there for or what body part is being x-​ray is breaking HIPPA privacy regulations. Other than the awesome tech, this place gets a two thumbs down from me!
