McDonald’s

I went there today just before 11 am, cuz let’s face it: many fast food places start serving Lunch starting 10:30 am onward. I walked up to the counter and asked the checkout girl if they have the «Pick 2» special, which everyone in the world knows about!!! Well, EXCEPT THIS GIRL, who WORKS AT MCDONALD’S! She gave me a quizzical look, and asked for her manager. The manager mumbled that they don’t have that. I then asked: «Are you serving lunch right now?» They said no, not til 11. Fair enough, that one was on me.
I walked out, killed sometime at the coffeeshop next door, then came back at 11 am to order lunch… the menu was still set to Breakfast at 11… til 11:02 am, AFTER I’d already ordered and paid. As I waited for my order, guess what popped up on the Lunch menu that was now on display:
«PICK 2»!!!
WTF???
I was so P — ssed off. Yes, it’s just fast food. But my order was essentially TWICE the price of the Pick 2 special that I originally intended to get here. And that’s the point: it’s fast food; how HARD is it for these workers to understand the menu and be versed in it, so they can satisfy their customers? SERIOUSLY.

Never do I like being those type of people that comment or rate on Unilocal but since I had a great experience I decided to do so in hopes that the cashier that was on shift at around 130 – 2 gets a raise or something, not only was she polite and had amazing costumer service; she was super funny when it came to apologizing for giving me lots of singles.

Be aware just went thru the drive thru and the price for the sausage mcmuffin clearly said $ 1 and the dude tried to charge me $ 1.19. I told him the price I was clearly looking at and I told them they needed to change the price or honor what it said on the menu BUT they needed to charge folks what it said until they changed it! The manager comes out and sees it then goes in while I’m there to adjust my bill. The person behind me orders the same thing I ordered and instead of them doing the right thing… They charged them 1.19!!! Hate businesses that do that and when you’re driving thru not paying attention, you’re being overcharged.

I work in the shopping center that this McDonald’s is located in. I hate coming here because the employees think of it as a absolute free for all. There talking shit to each other, giving stuff away to people they know for free and listen to music on their phones. Ridiculous! I like it for its walking distance that THATS IT! Someone needs to take control of this location, it’s embarrassing

Do NOT patronize this McDonalds! The management does NOT think they have to respond to their customers complaints like their A/​C being frozen in the freeze position and the onsite help can NOT change the setting — ONLY the Store Manager can and he/​she is OFF-​site most of the time. It is so cold that even with the open wide open IT IS FREEZING.
This has been going on for over 6 months!

Worse place to eat I went to this McDonald waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and nothing after that I got stuck between 2 cars so I couldn’t back out finally when it was time to go I asked one of the worker if something happen and he had the nerves to give me attitude I used to come here a lot and after this I’m never coming back worse experience ever if you have only one person working apologize for it and don’t be rude lol

It’s sad to see when you go to McDonalds you have management at 4 o’clock in the morning with attitudes service is slow waiting in the drive thru take 15 to 20 minutes to get your food and you don’t even get an apology about how long it took for you to get your food they just give you your food and don’t say thank you at all that is one restaurant that needs an overhaul that’s why mcDonalds is losing lots of business

Best drive through of any McDs in west LA. The line moves fast and they are always really friendly. One thing I really like is when I order the oatmeal, they ask if I want the brown sugar in it, and usually I don’t I just want the apples and raisins. I’ve asked other stores not to put in the sugar and they tell me they can’t, that it comes how it comes… this store is awesome!

The people at drive through were nice and friendly, I just think they lose 2 stars because my large fries was ¹⁄₃ empty as discovered when I drove off. Don’t mess with a girls fries!

I have been here a few times. they always mess up your order. Always packed and nothing but poopers working there. Get my order right or it’s grubhub next time. Stay away from this place.

Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for our order. Drove up to get our order only to find out they ran out. Terrible customer service !!

Even though they are open 24 hours a day. They are the most horrible personalities to exist. It shameful because they are people of color. I don’t have anything against them but i do think who ever is doing the hiring should rethink those minorities with different ones. They have much better out here… this is my second night coming here in the second something should be done about it Mike ASAP just like Henry L said these people are extremely rude. I will however say that last night they were nice enough to give me a large drink instead of a medium drink with my order so they were nice enough to do that but other than that their attitude sucks, service sucks, food is okay. So instead I’ll give them to stars because the food is pretty good i guess… Lol #TheTyrone1985

This was an okay visit. Not a great part of town, but not the worst either. I’d give it three stars but the smaller of the two stalls in the women’s restroom reeked of old urine smell. Really gross. Also of the two soda fountain machines, one had ice, and the other one had the soda. Kind of awkward/​odd.
Other than that, staff was polite and professional. Store was clean and my order was ready fast.

The bathroom here doesn’t have soap. They also make food here. Comforting
Kaiser is only a block away if something happens.

Coffee and oatmeal without raisins and apples. Plain and simple. I got what I wanted this AM and I was happy.
Close to work. Busy.

So when it’s 2 AM in the morning, and I’m hungry, the only thing I expect from a fast food establishment is that my order is correctly done. Bad enough McDonalds doesn’t take credit card from 3 – 4 am, but now the order is not done properly even though it reads correct on the monitor.
I ordered:
Big Mac combo with Fries Well Done (Yes they can do that here… and it’s good)
I got fries undercooked. I’ve enclosed a pic so you can see for yourself. Well done means more golden brown a color because obviously they cooked it longer. This looks like they barely cooked it a all. What a deal breaker. It’s not a hard order. I didn’t ask them for truffle oil or garlic. It just appeared they were all chit chatting amongst themselves and having a great time… which I thinks is great because work should be enjoyable on some level, but do your job. I don’t think I’ll be going back here because this isn’t the first time they’ve screwed up my order. This place needs additional training or corrective action.
Figures as I shouldn’t be eating this crap anyway. I think this will be my last meal at this place and those like it for the foreseeable future. But well done fries done right are soooo goood. At least the one by my house knows how to do their job right.

What a deceiving McDonald’s. It looks nice (roomy, good-​ish interior, next to a coffee bean), but the service and quality is subpar compared to most other mcdonalds.
The ratio of messed up order to perfect order is so great here. Although they may stick that «double checked for accuracy» sticker, the order is still incorrect.
So they have these new mcchickens, such as the buffalo ranch mcchicken for a dollar. They also have one with bacon for 2 dollars. When I ordered the regular buffalo mcchicken, I was asked the spicy one? Uh what? Buffalo. Yes, spicy. So she rang me up for the bacon one. Did I say bacon? No.
Ordered some chicken nuggets from drive through. Told them what sauces I wanted. Did I get any sauces? No.
What’s with their continuous shortage of happy meal toys? They show the «current» toys, but they some times do not have them in stock. What a disappointment.
Sweet tea with light ice. What happened? An unsweetened tea with huge chunks of ice. Alright then…
Food poisoning. Yep. Happened to the significant other and myself. Ugh!!!
At least I’m able to get some street passes via 3ds at this location once a while.

I was a bit upset that I wasted so much time wandering Main St. in SaMo completely famished, that I drove aimlessly down Santa Monica Blvd. and still could not make up my mind what to eat at 10:15pm. It doesn’t help that so many places close at either 9 or 10pm, so I just turned down La Cienega and was getting ready to hop on the 10 East when I remembered that McDonald’s was coming up on my right!
Ordering was quick. I went with a 20 pc Chicken McBooty Medium Sized combo. I always ask for my fries to be salt-​free because whenever I do not, the fries are practically loaded with a salt mine!
Chicken McNuggets: ²⁄₅
Yes, they were certainly hot, but they were not crispy enough on the outside and some of them were not crispy at all!

I cannot complain so much because it is McDonald’s after all, but these fries were pretty limp and a bit greasy. Perhaps they were greasy because when you order them without salt, it forces them to make you a fresh batch… but these were greasier than normal.
