L.A Burger

I always try to reserve negative judgement until its determined a pattern but frankly the service and efficiency is deplorable. I used to eat here several times per week but I don’t have 30−45m to wait for a burger and fries. The onion ring and French fry portions are tiny.
I’ve tried calling in…30m wait, tried ordering in person…30m wait. Theres never acknowledgement or apology only attitude.
There have been the same boards advertising combo specials that they don’t honor. Some places, the food is worth the hassle but not here

Came here on Unilocal’s review and was so disappointed, slow service and mind you only 1 person ahead of us, they got the order wrong, twice! and even though I was trying to be polite the cook looked very bothered! Once we started eating the food was ehhhhh, even though it looks like the fries were cut fresh they had a weird flavor… They might need to change the oil! Chili fries were maybe 1 star… of that, as well as the burgers… So yeah, definitely will pass next time!

I haven’t been here since 1994 and now I know why had the worst service I’ve ever had at any burger or any restaurant place around food was cold that wait on other people before my wife got her food very disappointing I will not be bad people save your time save your money go someplace else. What really ticks me off another couple came in after us they got their food before we did I’m wondering why. Maybe because they are younger I don’t know it because they were different persuasion then we were I don’t know

Little mom and pop burger stands are usually the best and this spot keeps up with that stereotype. I went here based off of Unilocal,as it is close to my pad and it’s my new favorite spot. I’ve never been disappointed. The ABC Burger or Double Cheeseburger are my favorite. Their fresh cut fries are awesome and the family that operates it is very nice.
TIP: Place a phone order to save time. Not that they take long.

Came here because of the high rating, but never again. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo which came out to a little under $ 9. It came with a burger, fries, and small drink.
I ordered at 11:45, there were maybe 3 people who ordered in front of me, and I got my food at 12:30. Even for a restaurant, 45 minutes for a burger and fries is ridiculous, but for a fast food place it’s enraging. When I finally got my food there was no apology for the long wait or any acknowledgement of the absurd wait time.
The burger itself was simple, yet tasty. I would definitely eat that burger again or even recommend people eat it. But coupled with the wait time, it’s not worth it. The fries were sad. They were freshly fried, but no seasoning on them, not even salt. It really just tasted like a bland fried piece of potato. I shouldn’t have to come home to salt my own food, but I did. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because the burger itself is good, unfortunately I will never have another because of that absurd wait time.

Used to be great, but not anyone. And the guy at the window is really rude. The food tasted like yesterday’s leftovers

Been here earlier this afternoon.
The place was a little quite, there’s no people around in this time, I don’t know why. Chilli cheese fries was so great, very tasty and the portion was good. You won’t believe that its just $ 3, satisfying price.
Double bacon burgers seems very tempting so I also tried one. Taste was okay, its a little ordinary, no new on it.
Great, but it would be better if the my bacon burger has a little twist on it.

This place sucks. The worker made us go around and order and we waited in line and when it came to us the owner turned us away and said they were closed even though online it says they close at 8. When we were leaving the worker apologized to us and said he didnt know they closed. What the hell is wrong with this place?

Best pancakes in town! The scrambled eggs are great too! If you want a cheap and delicious breakfast, this is the place.

In this age of hipster burgers, it’s really difficult to find a satisfying burger that’s not your typical pink-​slime fast food run of the mill «burger.» Gustavo hand-​makes to order each and every burger with all the customization you could ask for at this family owned shop. It reminds me of the good ol’ mom and pop burger shops that we used hang out at back in the day.
This is a great joint — both for locals and those looking for good quality burger without feeling like you just made some institutional investor rich. My go-​to here is the bacon cheese burger with grilled onions… for less than $ 5!!!
My only qualm is that it closes at 8pm!!! This would be so good past 10pm!

One of my favorite burger spots around where it’s located! Burgers and fries always taste fresh. Very reasonable prices. You can get a single burger and size small (but plentiful) fries for $ 5.
Staff is cool and helpful. Seems clean. Vibe is very open and casual. Classic, no frills burger spot.
I like to request grilled onions on my burgers from here. The single cheeseburger has a better meat-​to-​other ingredient-​ratio than the double, so tastes better to me.

I have been a regular here for a while. It was high end for a quickie fast good burger. Many times when the owner is not there the young man makes burgers taste very differently. Owner does good job. Kid doesn’t take it seriously. Well, Sep 28^th, 2015 the meat tasted horrible. If somebody tells me this was only that day I will take the review down. If this is their new meat connection then they will lose me and other customers. Kindly forward to owner.

First time I’ve ever wrote a negative review but this place is wack on so many levels. Burgers are small, fries are small, service is bad, everything is waaaay over priced for such small baby meal portions and bad quality. Do yourself a favor take your money and go to in n out for double the quality and half the price, this place sucks. Thanks for messing up my order too then expecting me to pay back for your guys error.

This burger stand is nice and cozy. Pretty small, and sorta clean-​ish.
The food is alright, the pancakes were good.
The service by the woman was ehh.
Not my go-​to place for breakfast or lunch.
Although prices are good, the food just isn’t cutting it.
And the flys that were just flying around everywhere, didn’t let me enjoy the food.
Overall, it was a decent place. probably wouldn’t come back though.

Very friendly mom and pop style restaurant. Only thing I didn’t like was there’s no Turkey Bacon or Sausage to go with the delicious breakfast. I hope this changes in the near future. None the less the staff was very nice and welcoming.

I’ve been here three times and every time is great. Never any lines or annoying hipsters coming from the Mint across the street. The chili cheese fries are just the right portion. I’m not trying to get all obese on chili fries. The bacon avocado burger with cheese was delicious. The wait time for the food was perfect. Definitely coming back.

This local burger joint that looks like it could possibly be a hidden gem in Los Angeles was nothing more than an average hole in the wall restaurant.
The man at the window seemed nice and funny especially the way he joked around with the regulars. This burger shack has very limited seating inside and outside due to the size of this place. The plus is that there is a decent sized parking lot to enjoy your meal inside of your car in your own comfort.
One thing I have to admit about L. A Burgers is that their bacon cheeseburgers are quite delicious. The bacon had a good crisp and crunch to it while the patty was nice and juicy. What caught my eye here was that from the reviews I’ve read, everyone is for the chili. I’m always on the hunt for the best chili cheese fries or chili burger. So I threw in some chili cheese fries in with my order. Right as I opened the box, a mouth watering smell arose from what looked to be a great looking layer of cheese and chili on my fries. My first bite was satisfying but as I had a few more bites, I was over it. The flavor seemed to just decrease in every bite. The burgers were really good but the canned chili is one to leave out in my opinion.
If you’re hoping to have a lucky find coming here, you’re at the wrong place. Now if you’re okay with a sizable good burger and okay chilli fries, then this place will hit the spot. I enjoyed my little experience here but I’m just one of those foodies looking for the next best thing. This place is worth a try, just don’t expect anything more than the usual.

L.A. burger is situated as a neighborhood burger joint. It’s shack-​like and edgy, with a real hole-​in-​the-​wall feel. The menu boasts a variety of options including breakfast combos along with the burger menu that would be more obvious.
The service at L.A. Burger was great. It was speedy enough to cool your craving within 5 minutes of ordering. Additionally, there’s plenty of seating around the ordering area.
I had the turkey burger combo. The burger was a good size and the fries come well portioned as not to take over the main focus of the burger. Lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mayo, etc. comes with the burger. The burger was good, and for a very good price. I would come back to LA Burger for a cheap burger that’s good, but nothing spectacular. Decent burger for decent price.
