DON’T DOIT. The pizza sucks. Soggy, no sauce, order wasn’t remotely on point and on top of it the staff wouldn’t fix their mistake or refund us. I’m a NY transplant and have lived here for a few years now.(I now see why I never ate here) Also, why would anyone go here when Tomato Pie, Mother Dough, and Cheech’s are all nearby. On top of it, who names their restaurant after the Devil? I never do reviews but this one was absolutely necessary. 2 thumbs way down.

I have been wanting to check out Lucifer’s for a long time and unfortunately was really disappointed. First of all, they told me that I was«outside their delivery area» when I live in Silverlake, less than 3 miles away. I ordered my pizza and they told me it would take 20 minutes to be ready. However, when I got there it looked like the staff were already trying to close for the night even though they had 2 hours before closing. They hadn’t started the pizza until I got there and I waited 20 more minutes for what turned out to be one of the worst pizzas Ive had in awhile for $ 26.underdone, doughy, little cheese, and few cheap toppings. Sorry Lucifers, Id rather just make pizza at home than spend money on another less than mediocre pizza.

I was part of group. Pizza was ordered when work went late. Bonus! Free food… Eh, not so fast. What I ate came in a pizza box. The pie within, was spotted with slices of a processed meat product, resembling, as much as anything, pepperoni. These slices were nestled in a crusty substance which resembled lightly browned cheese. These toppings all rested upon a razor thin crust of, I assume, bread. Honestly, I have no idea what this was supposed to be, but my answer to this product, if it were served to me in a blind taste, would not have been pizza.

I had to pause what I was doing to write this review when my delivery came… I HAVEAWESOMEEXPERIENCESWITHTHISPLACE. Seriously, I’m really happy. It was pretty nasty out tonight and my order got to me in 26 mins!!! it was estimated to me 85 I’m super impressed. I order delivery and take out and EVERYTHING’s always hot and crispy I order GLUTENFREE. So… just sayin’ it’s impressive I just had to praise Lucifers for outstanding service and quality every time. Thanks guys. The whole staff is always really friendly and happy(even tonight when it was really nasty out and I got delivery) I always get Zucchas, pumpkin on pizza is amazing believe me it works. but everything is really tasty. Order and enjoy.

Waited 45 mins for the pizza to be delivered and got the wrong pizza! Instead of a Chicken Basil Pesto, I got some sort of gluten free pizza with onions, peppers and olives. I hate onions. The order was placed properly, with the receipt on the box indicating I had ordered a chicken basil pesto pizza. I tried to call in to the store, but the phone just rang for several minutes. Subsequent calls weren’t going through.

Last evening we had a delicious dinner outside. Great crust and fresh ingredients. Can’t beat it.

I came for dinner with my sister and I ordered the Chicken Basil Pesto. It was fine. My sister ordered the Pumpkin Prosciutto, she enjoyed it but wasn’t blown away. Essentially, the pizza is decent – but with so many options in Los Feliz and Silverlake, I expect more than decent to come back.

Got the pumpkin and prosciutto. Lots and lots of garlic on that one so be careful if you’re not a garlic fan. This was the 2nd pizza on our Saturday pizza tour. I wasn’t completely blown away by this pizza, but I really want to go back and try their greek pizza. This was the one recommend by a friend and I believe that friendship is a lie. Hot guys working at pizza place.

I want to like this place so much more than I do but I am willing to give it another shot. Every time that I look at their menu, I am impressed by it, but each time I leave their storefront, I am aways mildly disappointed. It’s perfectly good pizza, but for the price and their menu, I wish I liked it more than other options out there(see Two Boots, Hard Times, etc.). With that said, the prosciutto and pumpkin pizza and the veggie supremo are both great toppings-wise, I just wish that they and a little more cheese for my tastes. Additionally I didn’t think that the medium spicy level had enough kick, so I’ll be going full-blast for the highest level next time I’m getting a pie spiced up over at Lucifers. I’m still waiting to be wowed, but I haven’t given up yet!

I came here tonight with my boyfriend and an empty stomach ;) We split two personal pizzas: the Thai chicken satay(spicy level: zero) and the pumpkin prosciutto(spicy level: medium). The former was pretty good, but that pumpkin prosciutto was something special! We experimented with the spicy levels to gauge their definition of spiciness, and as it turns out, we can totally handle spicy. In fact, the bf and I were almost silent whilst we ate, so concentrated were we on such pizza-y deliciousness. Next time the spice level shall be upped! I almost chose the soppressata pizza, which I haven’t had since I left Italy. There were lots of great options! We sat outside to enjoy the early evening breeze. I found the staff very friendly, too :) Thanks guys!

I would go here more often if the pizzas weren’t so pricey! They have a unique selection, so I enjoy going here once in awhile for a change of pace from my usual pizza order. Parking is difficult since it’s on the main stretch of restaurants on Hillhurst. On top of that, the restaurant itself it pretty small, so I find it best to order take out. With so many pizza places to choose from within a 10-mile radius of here, it’s not one of my favorites but it’s still tasty and worth giving a try! If I could, I’d give it a 3.5 stars /5.
