Hair By Raileen

Raileen is the ultimate professional. When we first met she not only took the time to get to know my hair, but she really took the time to get to know me. She was very thorough about my hair needs and wants. I picked a red color that if she were to make it happen that same day, would ruin my hair. We patiently worked on the color with highlights until the look was accomplished while preserving the health of my hair. Without any agenda to sell me products she always let’s me know if my hair is dry and what products I should consider using. She doesn’t sell them she just makes suggestions without thought to profit. I love that about her. She is a great stylist, colorist and all around wonderful person. One of the things I mentioned to her when we first met was that my last hair stylist had me brush my own hair because I made pain faces. Raileen’s response was that I should not be in pain or brush my own hair. She has never caused me pain. She is so gentle with my hair, I love having her brush it. Raileen uses a special brush, and recommended that I use the Wet brush and now I can’t brush my hair with any other brush. I’ve always hated that part of getting my hair done, but that is no longer the case. I highly recommend her. You will go to her for years. I came to her with damaged hair from one of those crazy hair crazes– the ombré. I have never looked back. Do yourself a favor and come get the Raileen treatment. You will not be disappointed. In addition to my hair looking fabulous, while I’m in her chair we talk about so many subjects, I am never bored. This woman can talk about anything from current events, to life lessons, tv shows, movies, ethics, math, animal rights, art … you name it. You will enjoy your experience. I’ve had some issues in my personal life that I’ve shared with her, so I’ve also sat quietly in her chair, and she’s also understood that I needed to not talk and I so appreciated that. She goes the extra mile to make you feel at ease, comfortable, and beautiful at the end of your visit. I really love her as a person and am happy she is also taking care of my hair.

Raileen has styled my hair a a few years now. I’m picky with my cuts because I have wavy hair. She asks what I’m looking for each visit, but I trust her to change things up or keep them the same because it looks great every time. Parking is free right around the corner.

She does miracles. Extremely professional and super nice too.
