Great street tacos! Love the fact that they use hand made corn tortillas, and everything comes out very quick! I’ve inly had the tacos here but will definitely be trying their«420» stoner menu as well. Parking is very easy and accessible as the truck is located in a big parking lot. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! Their cabeza and lengua are phenomenal if you’re into that:)

ordered a steak Burrito. I was number 67. everything was going fine. then the chef RUNS out of the taco truck at FULLSPEED and grabs the burritos out of the hands of 66(the people that had just ordered). Runs back in the truck. I was curious and concerned what could have gone so wrong. I walk over to the side of the truck and peer in from the open door. I see him pulling new foil and re-wrapping everything. He brings them new food. and the burrito he yanked out of the guys hands is placed in a bag. a minute later the woman calls 67 and hands me the bag. I try telling her that is gross and i saw the other guy start to open(i don’t know if he touched my food or not, but its still extremely unprofessional) my burrito. its fresh foil, to create the illusion of cleanliness. I try telling this woman i want a new burrito and she plays dumb and pretends not to know english. or maybe she just doesn’t. thats a casualty of eating here. never going back. its decent food, but at what risk? its like a bunch of high school kids trying to run a full scale restaurant. do you know how clean high school kids are? yeah. Zagat restaurant rating? forget about it. hole in the wall dirty truck. yeah.

This place has by far has the best pastor, i’ve tasted in quite some time. The condiments are all always neatly and not messy at all. Their mulitas are so delish!!! They give generously give you grilled baby onions which are quite a plus!!! I come here quite often, however lately it’s hard to get parking there,(as the car wash space is now being rented out to this truck and to Mohawk blend valet) Overall this place is yum, for sure rather come here than taco zone(the truck that is a few blocks away) just be prepared to wait as sometimes it can get quite PACKED!!!

After months and months of «I miss San Diego Mexican Food,» I have finally been silenced. When I’ve got one hand holding a taco and the other one flicking a cigarette, I realized I had to have been pretty damn happy with what I was eating to unintentionally reference Alanis Morissette. I had some adobada tacos and my friend had… well, I wasn’t even sure what he had, but I definitely felt some jealousy cause all I knew was that I wanted it in my mouth. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I also have to mention that the salsa is actually spicy! Thank god for good Mexican food!

So I’m headed East on Sunset and on the Corner of Sunset & Alvarado in the Car Wash parking lot, I see the most«Pimped Out» taco trailer I’ve ever seen so I just had to go check things out. All I see is bright lights, flames and two small flat screen TV’s and a rolling Neon sign on the top of the trailer that says«Best Tacos in Each Park», so not seeing any business name on the trailer I ask what’s the name of this trailer?, he scratched his head and with a slight Uhhh he replies«Flaming Tacos», you like that!?!, yeah sure so looking over at the menu I ask what style of food is this? and he said«DF» Mexico City. So checking the menu I see a few unusual names like Gringa’s and Cubana’s and I also see a nice selection of meat’s, salsa’s and other condiments. And Mmmm they have Al Pastor on a trompo /vertical spit(ha, ha… Unilocal flipped my photo, this should be vertical) that’s some nice pig! :) They also make flour tortillas by hand Ohh I’m in Love!
so I ordered a «Gringa» which turned out to be different than gringa’s I’ve had in Ensenada, Sonora or Sinaloa but that’s how Mexican food is names and dishes might /will vary from State to State. Gringa — a flour tortilla topped with Ham, Al Pastor, Pineapple & Cheese and I added some of their RED salsa
WOW, this Al Pastor is so good! topped with pineapple and ham, it’s FULL of flavor VERYGOOD! Tacos– Carne Asada & Al Pastor well I already told you how good the Al Pastor is… so Carne Asada was nicely flavored, tender and so delicious!, they also have a nice salsa & condiment selection
Best Tacos in Echo Park?, Well I’m not sure as I haven’t hit up all the spots YET!, but definitely BEST so far and might be hard to beat. By the way they are a little more $$ than most Taco Trucks but for me well worth the extra $$…
