Another beautiful birthday arrangement completed! Lupita was very helpful over the phone and email, utilizing a sample picture and making it even more beautiful and full with unique flowers through the floral artist Gabriel Soto. The whole process was easy and they delivered it to a secure building in downtown right on time, at the beginning of the delivery window I requested. I will be glad to continue using this lovely florist as they have helped me 3 times now with much success.

By far the best and most nicest group of people. I drove down from Sacramento needed a gift to say sorry and not dig deep into the bank and they more than helped me. The flowers were so beautiful and the florist went way above and beyond customer service. I told her what I did that that my partner worked in the building above the shop. She was able to locate the office and made it possible for me to be standing in the hallway flowers in hand when my fiancé walked past. A grown man I am and I almost cried… This really is the best flower shop I have never been treated so well in my life. They surly eared and friend and customer for life.

I ordered a $ 50 for $ 75 voucher on Unilocal from this company in August. I tried to use it that same week in august for my girlfriends birthday, however the lady on the phone said she couldn’t take accept my voucher because it was expired, except nowhere on the voucher deal or on the voucher itself says the deal was already expired.
So I said ‘ok give me a refund then. She said «you need to call Unilocal for the refund».
I read the fine print from Unilocal and they say I need to deal with the merchant. So I’m getting tossed back and forth for a refund, but come to think of it, that’s the merchant and Unilocal problem not mine. Why should I have to resolve my $ 50.00? I just want my damn refund!!!

Used this place to order a bouquet of flowers to surprise my girlfriend on her 30^th bday at work. I find out that they called my girlfriend to let them know they are coming to her work to deliver the flowers. I sent the business an email expressing my dissatisfaction and no response at all. They got my money right? That’s all that matters to this place.
TLDR Version:
Don’t use these guys if you want the flowers to be a surprise because they will call your significant other and let them know they are coming.

I don’t expect businesses to be perfect all the time… after all they are run by human beings and mistakes are part of our nature. What’s important to me is how businesses respond when things go wrong.
I couldn’t make it out to this flower shop on Flower street in person, so I ordered from their website. For small businesses such as this you don’t expect much online presence but I was pleasantly surprised with Downtown Flowers’ website. It was easily navigable, photos were clear and of ample size, and the process was clean and simple. Great job there. I placed my order, added a personalized message, and some instructions, then went through that anxious waiting that husbands do when sending surprise flowers to their wives. I really hope she likes them!
Unfortunately, the instructions I made were ignored and the personalized message no longer made sense… or so I thought. I contacted them and it turns out that some of the items fell out during delivery, but they definitely did complete my order as indicated. Barbara from Downtown Flowers apologized profusely and mapped out steps to make the correction. And that’s where they gained my respect.
Accountability is something we should expect in a business yet in my experience I find it as rare as a small flower shop having a great website. Downtown Flowers made me feel like they truly cared that I didn’t get what I expected and even called my wife to apologize. I was impressed.
I’m giving 4 stars because the arrangement itself (Garden Delight Terrarium) did not look exactly like it did in the photo. If you see on their website, there is a nice little hut inside that adds a little uniqueness, but was missing in my order. There were more succulents in its place. I (and more importantly, my wife) still likes it though. The prices are also a little high so it isn’t the best bang for the buck, but for a flower shop in DTLA I guess that’s expected. The delivery itself went without a hitch.
In all, yeah, I recommend these guys. Barbara was very pleasant to deal with and the whole process was really efficient so I’m definitely coming back. Their arrangements are awesome and I feel like I’m in good hands when I order from them. Good shit yo.

I was recently looking for a bouquet of flowers to give my aunt for Passover, and I just happened to stumble upon this cozy flower shop in the underground shopping center of downtown LA. I was charmed by Gabriel the florist, who provided exceptional assistance as he helped me arrange the most precious bouquet that I have ever seen in my life.

More than I could have hoped for. Online ordering of flowers weirded me out a bit, but I was in a crunch to send some love and positive vibes asap, and the images were attractive enough to encourage me to just click and go. Of course, the same great images also gave me skepticism. Would they deliver on such a beautiful image? And would they be on time?
Yes and yes.

The flower was amazing, even more beautiful than on the website! Only one thing dissapointed me little bit. The delivery guy left the flower at the recepction. Next time I would appreciate delivery directly to the addresse. Almost perfect :)

Great customer service. I ordered flowers from New Jersey and they promptly met my order and delivered the flowers. I had an issue with the card and called them and they immediately took care of it. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Somewhat reasonable prices. The reasons I wanted to write a review is because I was recently in the store and picked out a pre-​made arrangement. It seemed a little old but I didn’t say anything, before I knew it they were refreshing it with FRESH flowers and added another flower. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Last year on Valentines Day I ordered flowers for my wife using the Downtown Flowers Website. I received a confirmation email stating that the order went through successfully and that the flowers would be delivered to her work later in the day.
But when my wife got home I asked her if she had received the flowers. She told me that no, she hadn’t.
The situation was already bad, but what made it worse is that Downtown Flowers did not contact me on Valentines Day to let me know that they were unable to process my order.
I wrote to Downtown Flowers after I spoke with my wife and they did not get back to me until the next day. They simply said that they, «turned off our Internet Orders yesterday because we were overwhelmed.» It’s hard for me to believe that a flower shop could be overwhelmed to the point of not at least calling me up and letting me know that I should order my flowers elsewhere.
I see many positive reviews on Unilocal regarding this business, but I feel I should add my experience here. Not only was what happened a disappointment, I want to warn others away from making the same mistake I did this Valentines Day by trusting their internet order will go through. This year I am placing my Valentines Day order somewhere else.

I am super impressed by Downtown Flowers Net! I just ordered flowers today and it was the most seamless process. Barbara was so great and literally said to me, «nothing is impossible!» She was right! I ordered a beautiful arrangement, paid and they were delivered in less then 45 minutes!
When I was searching for a florist, I wanted to steer clear of cookie cutter arrangements. Lucky for me, their arrangements are lovely and unique. I will be ordering from them again!

Nice place to buy single stem or arrangements. They always have a nice selection if you missed a special office birthday — or if you need to bring something home!
