Very clean, they do the nails very good. definitly I will go back over there. They have only 3 chairs so I will describe like a boutique nails place

Rose is so meticulous at what she does. When I got my nails done from her, I had a vision of what I wanted and she went well above and beyond my expectations. She’s very creative and wonderful at what she does. 5 stars!

Extremely well done paint job and really nice service! The women here really took care of me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I got a mani gel and regular pedi. The massages were relaxing and not painful.

So at first I loved my nails… After two days it’s already chipping off. I got gel so it shouldn’t be chipping off after two days! I’m not going back for sure. Paid way too much for a one star quality.

Average pedicure for an average price. They did a good job except for the fact that they did a quick scrub and didn’t really remove my callous as other places do or ask. She already had the water drained and was ready to move on before I could even ask. Typically other places ask but she didn’t bother. What irked me is that they looked like they wanted do close shop early since I was the only person in even though it was hours away from their closing time, and so one of the lady picked up my purse and handed it to me and asked if I wanted to pay. And as soon as I paid I wanted five more minutes to let my feet dry completely, but she put my shoes on and lifted the chair and ushered me out. Another bad part is that they apparently charge $ 4 service fee for paying with card. They didn’t have a sign up indicating so nor did they tell me so it would be extra to use my card, especially $ 4. Never heard of that high service fee, and I definitely would have paid cash if that were the case.
Bring cash and specify exactly what you want. Still giving three stars because the quality was good even though the service was sub-​par.

My niece and I had the BEST experience here! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years but just stumbled upon the place recently and so glad I did.
Rosie and her staff were so fun and engaging the whole time we were there and the quality of service was amazing, they were quick but very efficient and we both walked away very pleased with the job they did.
I’ve always preferred neighborhood salons over bigger ones and Cloverdale did not disappoint.

Bar none my favorite new nail place. I managed to stumble across this salon and am now forever ruined. Rose is the most epic owner ever, and it’s also the best manicure/​pedicure I have ever received. Can not recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to return.

My name is Priscilla and I absolutely love this nail salon. Not only is it conveniently located across the street from my apartment but the owners and employees are absolutely amazing. I’ve never had to wait everyone is super quick and very attentive my nails always come out looking fabulous. I am moving to the East Coast and I am so sad that I will not be getting my nails done here anymore. Whenever I come back west to visit I’ll be sure to stop in. Xoxoxox

Had a great experience! Came in with a girlfriend and the staff accommodated us both quickly. They were very helpful and even offered us snacks when they noticed us getting hungry :) how sweet!
My friend was very satisfied with her eyelash extension and my gel tips /​manicure came out perfectly. They were very patient and made sure things were the way I wanted before continuing. Here’s what I showed them and here’s what I got! Virtually identical: D. Very pleased!

This was my second time getting a gel manicure and it was better than the first time!!! The service is great and they have variety of colors which was fantastic:))))) The staff is very friendly and gentle on your hands. I recommend this place for the gel manicure~

This is a salon operated with love and devotion. The owner Rose, and her daughter, are extremely hard working and attentive. I have been here on several occasions and have had my nails done by both of them. They do an equally amazing job. My nails are always perfect when I leave. They take the time to do it right. My nails don’t chip or look inconsistent in any way when they do them. They really listen to what you want and execute accordingly. Even if you have some fanciful ideas about how your nails should look over the holidays (which I have had on occasion). Rose once painstakingly removed individual giant sparkles out of nail polish and placed each sparkle in perfect pattern on my nails to please me… She’s basically a saint.
It is small and cozy in the salon but extremely relaxing. My nails always look amazing when I leave this place, and I’ve actually met a few interesting people while there. I think discerning regulars who come to Cloverdale know that Rose is a special person and the business is one that is worth investing in. It is a local, neighborhood business with two strong women at the helm. I really admire them for running this business. I highly recommend this salon!

Worst excuse for a nail salon I’ve ever been to. They don’t even have manicure tables. I came in the place was empty, they sat me in a broken chair. I said no one is here– you can’t sit me in the other 3 NON broken chairs? I didn’t get a pedicure, I got my feet wet in cold water (no jets no oils or bath bombs) and my nails painted. I said excuse me– you didn’t even file the calluses? The lady rolled her eyes at me and said «next time». No thanks, there will be no next time hunnie!

Walking distance from home for me. Very welcoming atmosphere. Consistent quality of work, the few times I have come. They also have a rewards card program which is nifty. I’ll be coming back.

I don’t even know where to begin! Today’s visit was by far the best nail experience I’ve ever had. I’ve searched high and low for the «perfect» nail salon in my area and I’ve found it! The prices are reasonable (compared to other nail salons in the area and the service is off the charts!
This was my first time at Cloverdale Skin & Nails. I called ahead and spoke with Rose for a 1 o’clock appointment. I arrived around 12:50pm and was immediately help by Liliana. She took off my gel nail polish, cut, filed, and shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted. She was gentle, took her time, and made sure everything was perfect. Rose then applied the gel nail polish. Lilian is still learning and Rose wants her to make sure she does everything perfectly when she’s with a customer. While Rose was teaching Lilian she would make sure to translate and include me in the conversation. I’m sure you have experienced being in a nail salon when the technicians start speaking in their native tongue and you don’t understand anything, so I appreciated being included.
Rose is Korean and from my understanding she has been at that location for a year. I’m so glad I found this place. It is truly a hidden gem!
I am very please with my visit and will be back!

I’m not sure I want to leave a review and ruin a great secret spot, lol. I went in with just a slight idea of what I wanted and Jenny, Stacey and Rose were all super helpful and nice. I think it was Jenny who did my nails and she was so attentive and careful, fixing things before I had to say a word unlike some places that have left jagged bits of nail from filing.
She and I ended up with a really fun design!
Also, their prices are great!

Last week I went in to get my gel pedi and mani. This place was quiet and relaxing. It is not a big place but very nice and clean. The outcome of the gel was flawless!!! I was amazed how perfect my nails looked! I also just found out that they do eyelash extension as well. Definitely coming back to try it next time.

Came here after being turned away from Fleur nails around the corner. This place is small but cute! All the ladies were very friendly. Rose did a great job with my gel mani.
I wish they had a bit more selection with the gel colors though. And Rose kept having to jump up to get the phone, cash out a customer, etc.

This review is long overdue. I was so happy to find Cloverdale Skin & Nail for both gel manicures and pedicures after trying out a bunch of places in Miracle Mile.
I have NEVER had a gel manicure as good as the ones Rose does. I don’t know how she manages to make my nails look so perfect! And they LAST! My nails usually aren’t even chipped after two weeks!
The best thing about this place is how welcome they make you feel. Rose, Jenny, and Rose’s daughters will make you feel like family, have you laughing your ass off, and they might even give you delicious Korean chocolate marshmallow treats! (That was a one-​time thing, no guarantees).

I’ve been a loyal, although not the most consistent, customer for years. The new ownership is wonderful. My nails always look amazing when I leave. I have a very physical job, and somehow they make my feet and hands not look like the haggard messes I feel they are on a regular basis. Could be happier with my experiences every time I go there! Yay
