I’m addicted! This place is so good and I love that it’s healthy. My personal favorite is the grain and greens bowl with half chicken and half veggies :)

i loved this place. it is a lot of food for reasonable money, and great tasting food, that seems very healthy. i didn’t even realize it was Mediterranean. i thought it was a salad place on steroids. they keep piling on different items, from dips, to grains, to proteins, to fresh veggies. like a subway bar… just tell them what you want. all for 8.85. went through the line super fast too.

This place is pretty good if you want fast food that is not greasy. The grains and green bowl with chicken is what I get with arugula and feta cheese. the pitta they give you is too dry and thick. Service is great. Just needs a little more flavor.

Yummmmm if you love Mediterranean and chipotle here is your combination! So good and they have a bunch of different yummy drinks too! I want to try all of them! I think they switch them out once in awhile too so I definitely need to go back! They have so many healthy options!

This place is just ok. I came here with my girlfriend for lunch. It reminds me of a Chipotle, except a different style of food. The food was not bad, but not anything special. They don’t validate parking, which is strange. I wouldnt go out of my way to come back here. My girlfriend also agreed.

Mediterranean food with a twist of ‘Chipotle’. Ingredients are fresh but not appetizing.

Gosh, I really wanted to love this place(a Mediterranean Chipotle assembly line, what could be better?) and I say that knowing I had properly managed my expectations. I took one look at the buffet line of options and was disappointed on the spot. I felt the food lacked in quality just by eyeballing it. My bf and I decided to stay and order. I ordered the kids meal, knowing I didn’t want too much of this stuff and it was plenty. A kids meal will totally fill you up. I had one mini pita with regular hummus spread, chicken and feta with a yogurt dill sauce on the side. I had a very small amount of brown rice because even that didn’t appear to be appealing and carrot sticks. It came with a drink, they offer a few juices that are sugar free I tried the blueberry rosemary but didn’t care for it so stuck with their soda water instead. Nothing stood out here. I ate my meal so I wouldn’t waste it, but I surely do not need to return for any reason. Mediterranean food is probably my most favorite cuisine, it’s also one that I just can’t settle for mediocre in. I’m willing to settle for mediocre Mexican, Indian or even Chinese but I just can’t do it with this. The hummus was bland, the pita was just ok if that, the chicken was extremely disappointing, the feta was just ok at best, the dill sauce was unimpressive and the carrot sticks were just ok. My bf ordered some sort of greens and grains bowl, containing similar selections. I didn’t want to try any of it. I’m not a big fan of mixing greens with rice — quinoa or couscous yes but not full blown scoops of rice, just not my thing. He ate all of his meal but he couldn’t possibly have thought this place was good compared to some of our other favorite Mediterranean dining options. I noticed a fair amount of people from the nearby fitness club coming here to order food, out of all of the dining options at The Village it may be one of the«healthier» options but not some place I ever need to give a second chance to.

I would describe Cava like a Chipotle except Mediterranean. And, with many more choices. There are almost so many choices and flavors that I think it takes going a couple times to figure out your favorite combo of ingredients. I love that they have brown rice basmati available, power greens as an option, and I do love their sauces and toppings as they have lots of flavor. For a quick, flavorful bite(healthy if you make it that way) and especially to cure a craving for Mediterranean flavor, this is great.

Great food! It’s a Chipotle-style restaurant, only with Mediterranean. All of their food tastes fresh and they have maps on the wall showing the name and location of each farm that their ingredients are sourced from. Had a small hiccup in service, and one of the owners promptly reached out to me to smooth things over. Cava is now on my list of regularly visited eateries. Definitely worth a try.

Cava Grill brings mediterranean flavor to the«Chipotle model» of build your own assembly. You start with your base: grains, salad, grains + salad, or pita. Then you can choose from a small variety of greens or grains(i.e. kale, arugula, lentils, etc.). No matter what you choose for your base you can choose up to three spreads to go with it which include things like hummus or crazy feta which has they amazing kick to it. Then you can choose a protein like chicken or meatballs or roasted vegetables for the herbivores. Lastly, you top off your base with some toppings like chopped cucumber, quinoa, or dressing. Lots and lots of flavor combinations to be had here. I went with the grains + salad base(I combined their super greens mix with arugula and lentils) threw in some roasted vegetables, red pepper hummus, crazy feta, quinoa, chopped cucumber, and a light drizzle of one of their signature dressings. The bowl is pretty big when you’re done assembling – about two meals worth for me or one meal if you’re starving after a hike. I also paired it with one of their fresh juices– I went with the kale ginger lemon. The whole meal was $ 13 with tip… which is about the Chipotle price range but I was getting a heck of lot of vitamins and nutrients in this bowl so no complaints. Bowl was delicious! I ate 1⁄3 of it right away and popped the rest in the fridge for lunch the next day and it was still really yummy. My only complaint is it seems only some of the staff is allowed to work front of house while back of house employees can only work prep – this was a problem when I arrived and there was only one lady working front house with almost four people in line while the two prep employees worked away never helping the line. They seemed really apologetic about it, so I really doubt it’s their fault, but Cava should consider addressing this so that their team can work better to support each other.

Did not expect to like this place but boy, it’s good and hearty. Stay clear of the beef meatballs – so dry and not tasty at all. For protein, can’t go wrong with the chicken. Research the menu before you go so you are ready. Lines can get long bc there are so many choices and people are not prepare to order.

Love this place! Another one of those pick your base and toppings place but Mediterranean style! You can get either rice, beans, an array of salads or a pita(mini or full sized). I got half salad half protein — mix of spinach, arugula and super greens with the black lentils. For my dips I got crazy feta, tzatziki and roasted red pepper hummus, and chicken for my meat, and lastly tomato and cucumber salad, olives, cabbage slaw and quinnoa for my toppings! Topped it off with yogurt dill dressing. It was not only delicious but really filling. Overall a yummy meal for under $ 10. Definitely coming back!

So I decided to give this place a try since my Fiancé had been raving about it. I met up with her the other day and I had a hard time finding the spot. It’s kind of tucked away on the side and the name of the restaurant blends in with the building. So if you’re not paying attention you can kind of just walk right past it. Once we get in, I notice it’s set up cafeteria style like Salata, Chipotle and Mixt Greens. My fiancé went with a bowl and I decided to go with a pita and as we were going down the line picking our ingredients, we noticed that the girl helping us wasn’t that friendly. Anyway, we didn’t dock any points for that because people have their bad days. The few problems I had was my pita was extra stale. The edges were like a rock and again, I don’t really want to dock any points for that because I feel like if I go back I’ll have a better experience. They also charge extra for everything. I wanted lentil and lamb(both cost extra but she made it clear that next time I will be charged for the lentil. Charged me for the lamb) and it cost extra. So overall, My fiancé’s salad was pretty good and she got me hooked on the Blackberry Sage. My pita bread was stale but the meat and other ingredients were pretty good. Another issue I had was how they skimp on their meat. I got half shredded lamb and half meatball and she gave me two small meatballs. Chipotle is very generous with their meat and I feel like if you’re a new business you can’t start out giving 2 meatballs. You start out generous and then once you have enough clientele you can start cutting back a little. Anyway, I may come back but I won’t be rushing to Cava, sorry. My fiancé loves you guys though so that’s good! OOO 3 out of 5 Afros

I can’t remember the last time I have 5 stars. Let’s start with location. This gem is right in the middle of the NEW Westfield shopping center The Village. So good thing is that it is a great spot to eat if you are just hanging out at The Village. Bad part of the location is that of you just want to grab and go for lunch you are going to get stuck in the parking structures for a few extra minutes. I am not going to say much about price except I was stuffed outta my mind for less than ten dollars after tax. Ok the most important thing. The food. So the concept of this store is like a Mediterranean chipotle. You can build your own pita, grain bowl, or salad. There are plenty of choices of lettuce and grains. The protein is all delish(braised beef, falafel, chicken, grilled chicken and then there was something else but I forget…) the pita the salad comes with(yup comes w free pita) is melt on your mouth make your heart happy kind of pita! Then there is your choice of spreads including hummus(2 kinds) eggplant spread, Harissa spread and others. You also have the option of veggies to go on top, including a cabbage slaw(no mayo) which blew my mind. All in all I am obsessed, can’t stop thinking about my salad. I need to go back ASAP! Annnddd good job Qava for putting a nutrition calculator online. You rocked my world!!! Salad pictures was less that 400 calories! Boom. Winner!!!

Here’s the QSR operations model that Subway started and Chipotle perfected. Instead of pizza(Pieology, PizzaRev, Blaze), this is Mediterranean themed. Here you choose among pitas, bowls, salads or mini pitas and add a protein(chicken, lamb, meatballs) and they pile on the toppings, spreads, etc. I went for a large pita with meatballs, cucumbers, tomatoes and sun dried tomato hummus. While it was tasty, the ingredients conveniently leaked out and spilled all over my shirt and jeans. Now, I’m not the most dainty eater, but I was being careful and I ended up looking like Pigpen after that meal. Prices are a bit high for my liking. I dropped about $ 12 by adding a lemonade. At least it’s all you can drink and there are a lot of lemonade, iced tea and apple juice options. Seating is a bit limited considering the queue takes up a lot of the store and there are a few outdoor tables, some in the sun on a sunny day. I can’t say I’m rushing back to Cava but I’d try it again knowing I need to wear a bib and bring a lot of cash. I do consider a similar less polished independent option in both the Topanga and Promenade malls more to my liking.

I grew up eating Mediterranean food so I was super excited to have this place opening up. I was in high hopes that it would be good and fortunately I was not disappointed. First off the food is delicious! It’s really just a party in your mouth from all those flavors coming in. Secondly you can tell right away that it is fresh and of good quality. Healthier option compared to many places. Concept is great. Location is wonderful. Food is amazing. Nothing more I could ask for You rock cava grill!

(+) Base + spread + protein + toppings + dressing = deliciousness (+) Mediterranean food, plenty to try. Fresh. Laid out in assembly line style like other places as other reviews mention. (+) Outdoor seating, prime people watching and I noticed lots of folks checking out my food while walking by haha (+) Colorful and daily prepared juices/teas reminded me of Lemonade. Cucumber mint lime, blackberry sage, and there’s(cold) apple cider too. The soda contains organic sugar. I tried the blueberry flavor. pretty good, never had blueberry soda before!

I came here a few days ago to try it out because I’m a fan of Mediterranean food and the chipotle style concept. I ordered the greens and grains bowl with chicken and it was delicious. The variety of toppings and dressings are flavorful and yummy! Mix it all in for a healthy and filling meal. I loved it. Def would come back. Update: Came back again today and this time tried the meatballs and I wasn’t a fan. The chicken and falafels are good though!
