STRANGERDANGER ! This 7-Eleven is ground-zero for the homeless hanging out in front of the store, asking for money. There’s one homeless guy who walks around the parking lot, carrying a big stick. He is sometimes loud and unruly… Not good. Once you make it inside, it’s pretty cool. Some of the younger, male employees are a bit rude. You can’t talk to an adult, like your friends at school. This store… It’s ok for a quick stop, nothing more.

I hate this 7 – 11 with a passion. When I use to live in the Jungles I would drive all the way to the 7 – 11 off of Rodeo and La Cienega just to avoid N****S. Ooops did I say that? Yes I did, there is always two or more dudes pan handling, the dorsey kids causing a ruckus, need I say more? I stopped going here back in 06 when I went one night and there were three dudes standing out front, one dude was selling cds/dvds and I asked him if he had a mixtape from The Game(at the time) and the two dudes that was near him were banging on me, asking me what set I claim and asking me to lift up my shirt and sleeves. I told the guy that was selling Cds«I bet you don’t make any kind of money with these two jokers near you» and I kept it pushin. Go to the 7 – 11 off of La Cienega/Rodeo it’s a lil better. Not as bad as this one…

This place is always filled with kids from Coliseum, Dorsey and the Jungles. Man, it isnt even that good and all the good chips and wings are always out. Panhandlers up the ying yang inside, outside and kids always getting into fights outside. Can’t go in and get something and go in under a minute.

What a poor 7 – 11. This was the main place to be… before the LA Riots burned it down several years ago, but thanks to the main rule of business(LOCATIONLOCATIONLOCATION) being that it was right across the street from a fire station, it reopened a few years back with all-new lights and so on. However, it’s not as great as some other 7 – 11’s in the area(particularly the Venice area). The soda fountain they have is aged, like the old 90’s and not the cool multi-beverage, button-pressing fountain. They seem to have an abundance of Coke products, and not nearly enough variety from other companies as far as soda. This 7 – 11 is blessed with the speed oven, so they carry the chicken wings and chicken strips as well as the Pizza(this location sometimes has pepperoni and sausage pizza!)…if you are into the pizza at 7 – 11 haha. It’s not that good. I am seeing more and more 7 – 11’s with Jamaican beef patties though, and this was a location where I saw some. Big Bites are in full effect here, with all the varieties plus the taquito roll-ups and such. The staff is very down to earth, because they know the clientèle they get here is pretty rough around the edges(some would say… ghetto hoodrat). So they play extra cool and are quite helpful unlike some 7 – 11 attendants who just watch you as you walk around the store and don’t offer help. Given all these positive factors I’m sad to give this a 2 because the aforementioned clientèle makes this place a chore to get into and attempt to have a good experience. They wander the parking lot(this place is near a laundromat and beauty salon), aggressive panhandle at the door, and even inside the people are just ridiculous. Shouting, cursing, leaving things at the front counter and going back… trying to manipulate the line, etc. It’s just not good being there, which is a shame because It’s not even 7 – 11’s fault. Except the whole«we don’t have Mountain Dew» that’s just inexcusable.
