Planning a little day of wine tasting with friends and the tasting room doesn’t keep the hours listed on their website. Total fail.

My husband and I love their selections of red wines, including their new port! We’re excited about the new tasting room opening in the future.

Owner was super nice but as the 4th stop in our wine tour, none of the wines really jumped out at me. Their neighbor was on par with them and i’d probably skip this stop next time. Also, it was really tiny and definitely not build to handle a dozen people at a time…

In the old Loomis Produce barn. Shared shop space with another tasting room. Open for just the weekend. Joe the owner is quick and prompt to greet us friendly. He was right on educating us about his product and showed his passion for the offerings. Tastings are free here, and wines are reasonable priced. Wine is sourced and produced locally. The tasting room area can get busy but he multi tasks well. Good: all around experience. Friendly and good wine choices. Reasonable prices. Bad: not open year round. I’ll come back for some.

Great winery with awesome people! My Mom and I wine tasted here this week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The winemaker and his brother poured wine and took time to chat with us– felt like we were just drinking delicious wine with friends. Each wine tastes like the varietal as opposed to tasting like the next wine. Wonderful experience.

Ciotti Cellars is by far one of the best wineries in the state of California and in my opinion the best. The owner and winemaker extraordinaire Joe makes bold Italian style wine and makes sure his varietals are picked from the best vineyards and regions for each style. Highlights for me are the Reserve Barbera, Zin Port, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah and Malbec. 6 wines as highlights? Yep that’s as far as I could cut down my list, its all great. One last thing, it’s the friendliest tasting room you’ll come across in the state.

Had two corked bottles that needed to be returned, but did enjoy the 1 bottle that was not.

Yummy port! Came here during the Grape Days of Summer — I think that’s what it was called. Our wine expert was awesome. I came with a friend who lives out of town and we both said we want to come back!

Ciotti, Popie, and Cristaldi wineries all share a tasting area in a large wooden building on the main street in Loomis. The layout is 3 small tasting areas connected together to form a large tasting area. Even though its one large room there is actually not a huge amount of counter space for lots of people to taste. It wasn’t an issue this past weekend, but with more people I could easily see it become one. The woman that pourped for Ciotti this past Saturday(who said that she usually pours for Cristaldi) was especially friendly. She told us all about the area, which we were not familiar with, and shared with us all the cool events that happen in the summer. There are some interesting things happening here that I might want to drive up and see. Overall, she was just incredibly pleasant to talk with. Of the three wineries I enjoyed these wines the most. The Barbera Reserva was very good. As I write this review I actually regret not buying a bottle. I’d happily return to taste these wines again! They had a tray of chocolate to taste with the wines.

This is a great, small winery located in Loomis, Ca It is located next to two other small, local wineries… I believe they call the group, 3 Vigne… We love their wines… The Placer County Cab is amazing… Such a tasty wine. When our friends and relatives visit, this is a must place to visit on the weekend. I think they are open noon to 5ish… We will be back for sure
