For what this place charges for a dinner, I expected so much more. Food was average at best and service was sub par. I will not be eating here again for a very long time.

Something has changed. Used to go at least once a month and it was always great. Had not been in about a year and went there tonight. Waited 35 minutes for order. Lobster was watery. Steaks were like leather. All service was super slow. Will not go back anytime soon.

The food and level of service are no longer commensurate with the prices and the once good name.

I am not a fan of Red Lobster in general. I mainly went for the biscuits(as I’m sure most people do) and I’ve stopped going after I learned how to make the biscuits myself :).

Actually went a couple of weeks ago but forgot to review. :) it was a LOT better than the last couple of times I went. Our waiter was on top of things. Fast, friendly and efficient. Biscuits were hot and fresh. The food was really really good. Nice flavors, hot and fresh. Definitely a step up from the last couple of visits.

It’s a chain. That can be good … or not so good. Management has a lot to do with how good a restaurant is, and corporate hasn’t exactly sent the best managerial candidates to this location in a while. It really is hit or miss. The past three times I’ve eaten here(all during the past year) I was extremely disappointed. Less than mediocre food and not the cleanest restaurant. Wake up, managers!

I love seafood, and I normally think you can’t mess it up because there are so many ways to prepare it. But my meal was tolerable but not desirable. I had lobster tail bucket with sausage, and I added a shrimp skewer. The tails had no flavor, my grilled shrimp seemed as if they were boiled. I had to ask for tartar sauce to help make it where I could eat it.

Love it. The lunch special is awesome for the quality of their food. I wish I could eat here more often.

Short and sweet but dishes were served separately and cold. Worst experience ever. I was reluctant to go because I have had poor service and food in the past.

Good food, great waitress. I wished I remembered her name; she said she had worked there over 7 years, and she was great!

Good food, good service, good hostess. They could do better prebussing. Also, got to table the booth was dirty, they didn’t wipe off the seats, lazy. I think it is important to ask server what is the best food, they always tell you, I often ask, they tell me what I should get, not buy price, but by taste.

Hubby and I went for lunch and had a great time. We shared the Ultimate Feast. We each got our own salads– Ceaser. Dressing was very thick and sweet. I could take or leave the salad agian. Plenty of food for two people who are counting calories, except exchange the fried shrimp for something more healthier. Baked potatoe was very small but the hubby loved the salt on the outside. Cheese bisquits were the bomb as usuall. My crab legs and lobster tail were delicous especially with the butter dip.

Who hasn’t sat down to a great seafood meal at Red Lobster? Oh, I know, it’s a chain, but I’ve decided the real basis for ranking a restaurant is simply the quality and quantity of food for the money and in my book, Red Lobster is really hard to beat for consistently good quality seafood. We dined with friends and started out with cocktails. Scale of 1 to 5, I have to give the drinks a 2. Their caramel apple martini is waaayy too sweet, and the Sapphire and tonic was heavy on the tonic side. Once the orders were place, out came the«to die for» Cheddar Bay Biscuits — the best appetizer around. This was quickly followed by salads and, my selection, cole slaw. Red Lobster has a nice, not too mayonnaise(ey) slaw dressing and their blue cheese dressing is one of my all time favorite blue cheese dressings as well. I must admit it was a challenge not to order the standard 1 lb. snow crab leg dinner because I have never found snow crab legs that match those at Red Lobster — no, not even at Joe’s. But, these days I usually stick to their fire grilled menu and did so this time with fire grilled Chilean lobsters paired with a skewer of fire grilled shrimp. Both were cooked just right — tender and juicy and the drizzle of lemon butter over the shrimp was a nice touch. Their wild rice pilaf is pretty standard. The Red Lobster baked potato is always fresh and the butter/salt rub on the outside of the potato enhances the flavor. No dessert for us this trip.
