OMG! This place is delicious and special. The little bungalow is decorated so sweetly, but with modern touches… everything from the awesome wait staff to the terrific wine list to the amaaaaazing food(seriously good, people!) What a perfect and magical night we had in this place. I highly recommend a visit asap. Take your favorite person there!

Tomboni’s is a refreshing and exciting change to the normal restaurants in Longview. The food takes your taste buds on a culinary journey. First visit I had the rainbow trout. The skin is left on so you know it’s fresh! I don’t typically eat the skin either, but the chef assembled this dish so well I couldn’t leave a bite! My friend got the pasta portofino. She let me taste the sauce, but wouldn’t part with a shrimp(because they were«cooked to perfection» she said). The sauce for that dish was lite yet very flavorful. The reaction she gave to the pasta was the same as mine to the trout. This restaurant is by far the best place to eat in Longview. The waitress explained that the menu throughly and was very knowledgeable and gracious.

My daughter and I ate here today!!! We both loved the place and food. The service was great. My daughter had chicken pot pie, and I had the chicken stuffed with goat cheese, asparagus, and beans. Desserts was adult Smore’s with dark chocolate and carrot cake. We drank peach tea. And I forgot the cups of soup, curry cauliflower. It was a little nosy, but it’s a small restaurant and I would like to see more organic items on the menu. But great selection on the menu. We will be back. This is a great change from chain restaurants in longview area. The portion size is plenty large enough. People are to use to eating large portion sizes.

JG score of 5⁄10(+3 for food, 0 for atmosphere, 0 for price, 0 for no Diet Dr Pepper, 0 for typical service and +2 for we will return) The food here is really awesome. We ate here for a lunch and tried 5 things from their menu. Our favorite was the Fish Sandwich followed by the Pecan Chicken Salad and then the Tomboni’s Italian Sandwich… These were all tasty and very good… the fish for our day was Mahi Mahi but apparently the fish can change based on what they get. We also had 2 sides as well. The Jicama Salad which is made from a Mexican type potato was interesting. Not immediately our favorite, but we found ourselves continuing to eat it until it was gone. Last was the Orzo Salad. This was like cold pasta and we did not really care for it but ate it anyway… Menu looks like many other good things also. Atmosphere was cramped and crowded and loud and too much estrogen which meant a lot of loud talking and laughing. We can block that out and just eat. It was a nice little place but too small for the numbers of people that day. The price with one lunch and a drink and a tip will be $ 15 or more which is fine because you have to pay for healthy food. They don’t have Diet Dr Pepper or sodas at all unless they are natural like Kombucha. We had the pomegranate tea which was good. The service was nice and typical but she was very busy. We will definitely go back. We would have gotten the Cuban Sandwich but they had run out. We also want to try the adult grilled cheese and other things. It was very good.

The food was great! The service was great! The inside was clean, friendly and inviting! I love the unique menu items. The only reasons I did not give them 5 stars was #1 there food is not all organic and unknown if it’s local, #2 there prices are more then I like to pay especially when not organic #3 the prices for the amount of food you get is on the higher side. I don’t have a problem when it’s organic! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with the jamica salad it was good but not a lot. My hub and had the striped bass sandwich with dill sauce and the orozo salad and it was great but again the salad was small. Other than that our server was great! Thank you Savanah! Get there early there only opened from 11 – 3 and they only have about 12 tables! For dessert we shared a flour less chocolate w/pea can sauce! Yummy!

Great fresh food from simply delicious ingredients! I love that they now have a place where you can sit down for a lunch that’s closer to my office! I can’t wait to go with some friends to eat there. I love the ethnic tastes!

My friend and I were excited to try the food at this recently opened restaurant. They offer appetizers, salads, soup, sandwiches, a few entrée selections and a dessert menu. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with a small side salad and my friend ordered a Cuban sandwich with a salad. The food was satisfactory and it was a good thing there was salt on the table as the chicken salad was under seasoned. We had just finished our meal and were waiting for the waitress to return with our receipt when a woman approached our table and demanded to know if my friend was the one with the cell phone that was ringing. He said he was, she then demanded he turn down the volume because it was getting on her nerves. She treated him like he was a naughty child that needed some discipline. My friend apologized and she walked away in a huff. I will admit that his phone did ring several times, but he is a physician and was on call that day. The waitress returned with our receipt and my friend asked who that woman was. She told us she was the owner. We explained what happened and she said she was sorry and would talk to her about it. I urged her not to do that as I was worried that if she treats her customers with such disrespect, how does she treat her employees? The gentleman sitting next to us had heard the conversation with the owner and he also told the waitress that she was way out of line and there was a better way she could have handled the situation. We will not return to this establishment. So, if you want a side of rudeness and disrespect with your $ 10 sandwich, by all means, go there. If not, there are many other places to have lunch without the attitude.
