Great quality. Tasty Poke. Good service. Dirty smelly bathroom.

We come here often and it’s the first time we’ve had an issue. We were in time for happy hour and the sign outside says Happy Hour 30% off appetizers everyday. We ordered more than we would’ve because it was happy hour. Surprisingly we did not get the discount we expected. When asked the waitress said the inside sign says excluding holidays. First of all make both signs consistent and secondly since when was Valentines a holiday? Anyways, aside from that the food is consistently good. They are pretty fast in serving and the customer service is great! So I’ll knock off 1 star for tonight!

Right in my neighborhood. Been coming here for years. Consistently good and fresh. My favorite rolls are the Geisha and the Long Beach roll. You get free miso soup if you order it! I love their Ginger House salad too. I wish they would bottle the dressing!

Been here many of times and the service just keeps getting worse. The food is great but the service is terribly slow. Took 15 mins to get our waters, and my server would never check on me. It’s crazy to have to flag someone else down to go find your server. I had to walk my check up to the register for another server to process my payment. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m starting to feel like the food is not worth this bad service may not be coming back here.

I am super picky about my sushi and this place will not disappoint! Their sushi is extremely fresh and unparalleled. I have been going here frequently for the last year and it’s almost impossible to go to another sushi restaurant. We’ve gone to a couple of other sushi restaurants in the last year and they honestly do not compare to Fusion! The service is nothing short of impeccable! Every waitress, sushi chef and the manager are so welcoming and attentive! I’m so happy this location is so close to our home! We love you Fusion sushi! Thank you for being so wonderful to us! Ps the Baked Crab Roll and the ginger salad are our favorites!

Excellent quality and excellent service. Sort of an unsuspecting little place in a shopping center on Spring. We came on a Thursday around 7:30 and sat ourselves at the sushi bar. We had the Rainbow Roll, a roll that had sriracha and jalapeño(not sure the name) and an order of Hamachi Toro. I was so impressed at the quality, and the rolls are HUGE. The standout for me was the Hamachi Toro… buttery and perfect, just like it should be. This is a bit far from where I live(downtown), but this is better than any place I’ve found by me so I will for sure come back here.

If you want good quality sushi you come here! Iv been here tons of times and im always satisfied. Try the spicey edamame you wont find it at any other sushi spot, atleast not as good as fushion sushi. Its my favorite something i crave. They used to sell a jessica roll i loved but they no longer have it. I tried something new this past wednasday, the godzilla roll i think was its name, that is my new favorite sushi roll.

I’ve had a craving for some nice rolls lately… So my girl friend and I came here for a late lunch for girls day after work. Usually parking isn’t so bad in this plaza but good lord… I guess everyone and their mother was at Stater Bros for meal prep shopping for Christmas. She always goes to Bai Plu. I haven’t been to many Japanese places in awhile for sushi, rolls and the like given that I shouldn’t be eating anything raw right now. I wanted to try this Fusion Sushi as I love the one in Hermosa Beach and was there every week when I lived there. This place was an epic fail. It wasn’t particularly busy, but the waitresses sucked, were incredibly slow, and not attentive at all. Basically, only one person on duty… That is never good when you have people waiting and waiting and waiting. I honestly wanted to leave after our drink orders because it took about 15⁄20 mins until she was able to get our orders. On top of that, the food took forever to come out as well. My friend had miso soup first, which she really liked, I can’t say because I didn’t try any. After awhile, her bccs or something roll came out. She said it was ok. I tried a scallop and it was very fishy to me. The roll was also very wet and just fell apart. My chashu ramen came out when she was halfway done with her bccs roll. It had a spicy broth and I liked it for the most part. I don’t feel that bean sprouts belong in it though. Made it taste of whenever I had a bite with it in. When I was halfway done with that, my teriyaki chicken roll came out. Chicken was juicy but it really just fell apart. Overall it was good save for falling apart. When I was ¾ of the way done with my ramen, then my friend’s bulgogi came out. It was overly sweet to me. She was being nice I’m sure by saying it’s different but ok, same with the bccs roll, different/ok. Oh and her bulgogi was delayed by 10 mins because the server was fiddling with the register. I heard the bell signaling, hey b$%&c get the food. But she looked over, saw the order was ready and kept fiddling with the register for 10 mins closing someone out. Really? 10 mins to do that? Her food got cold. Would you like that when you go out to eat? Treat people as you would test yourself… I’m sure you would complain if you knew your order was ready but the server was just f’ing off and being slow. When we got our check it was pretty damn fast so I know you were being lazy. –Will I come here again? N. O… NO –Food? Just ok. Go somewhere great instead even if it’s a few bucks more –Service? Incredibly lacking. The manager needs two servers on the floor, not one. But they seem slow and lazy anyway… Always hiding in the back or taking forever with the register… So maybe three for this place. Or hire better servers in general. –Time? If you have tons of time to kill and aren’t too hungry and can wait for one plate at a time to come out with 10 minutes between each plate even when they were ordered at the same time when most places would have a few out at a time. Then yeah, other than that… Heck no. I’ve got things to do, places to go, and don’t want to wait for bad service and mediocre food. I guess there was a reason I never went here until now even though I come to the plaza often when in town.

Communication here can get you .#!. The decire was nice. The blue fin tuna served cold almost frozen. Miso soup salty, salty. The salmon roll came with the chopped minced salmon. Wtha. Only time u chopp or mince a fish is when its not worthy of texture, show or freshness. That was the first. And the most oofensive when it comed to sushi is when you get served OLD, Powdery COLD, flavorless rice. That is very un Japanese. Im not convinced this place is Japanese. Im not showing off to my friends. But blue fin on the menu is a plus. Ohh the sea urchin was worn out. My uni sushi. No texture, upon serving.

I used to come here all the time… I randomly decided to go back last night and the food was not fresh. I ordered tuna sushi and it the fish was warm and tough(almost like I was eating steak) I also ordered«fresh oysters» and man, I ate one and i almost ran to the bathroom to throw up. It was very fishy tasting, dry, and just gross to eat. The thing that was most upsetting was when I sent it back. The sushi chef that prepared it just shrugged his shoulders as if he already knew they were bad and just tried to send them out anyways. Lastly, the waitress that we had was very unfriendly. I sat at the table multiple times with an empty glass. Lucky for me the bus boy saw me and gave me a refill. He should have been waiting on tables instead of our actual waitress. I will not be going back.

I come here with my boyfriend all the time! Friendly staff, good service, and really yummy food! It’s a little pricey but I feel like most sushi places are … Go during happy hour. It’s worth it! I checked in and got my free gyozas. It was decent. I love their cucumber salad and spicy tuna hand roll :)

I have been here a few times, definitely not a go to spot but it satisfies my cravings. Last trip was during«Happy Hour», which I still spent $ 40 for not very much(And no drinks, just food). They have ½ off special on certain rolls every day, but it is half off for half of a roll… So I don’t really get the special, because if I liked that particular roll and I wanted a whole one well then it really isn’t a special at all and would cost the same as what is stated on the menu to order it full size. Though I see it gives you an option to try all three rolls that are on Special without having to get a full roll. They do seem to have very good beer/drink specials, I think Monday’s are buy one beer get one for .25, one day is buy one get one free, and a sake special as well… So they are definitely trying to bring people in in. Though places with a gazillion happy hour specials are generally not doing that great and they are trying to drum up business, and I think that is the case here since the quality in the fish is lacking. Service is always good, food is a-ok. The sanitary conditions behind the sushi bar are a little concerning, I did see an Itamae rub his nose on the back of his hand and not wash his hands afterward and proceeded to finish the dish he was preparing. They also have quite a bit of dust build up on the items hanging in the back of the bar… Generally this does not bother me, but when you are working with raw foods it definitely grosses me out. Sushi bars should be super duper friggen clean. If you are having a craving I would definitely give this place a go, but if you have a favorite spot then this place will more than likely disappoint you.

Fusion sushi is a delightful and happening spot near my high school alma mater. It is a great place for sushi and they know what they are doing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For our Saturday evening we were welcomed by Rachel. They seated us in a booth and oh it was so comfy. I was with my grandmother and my wife. To start us off we were treated to a comped edamama beans. My wife and I shared a Kirin beer. Nice and cold, I must say. We ordered 2 half roll specials for $ 5 each. The love and kamikaze. They also brought us miso soup and we also received our free fried gyoza cor checking into Unilocal. Salmon teriyaki for grandma for her main and Uni sushi for me and my wife to top it all off. We entertained the idea of having dessert but we were so full that we had to pass. My fellow Unilocalers please come into Fusion Sushi; they are great, efficient, and they serve, fresh awesome sushi.

I have been coming to Fusion Sushi for years, ever since they opened! The location is very convenient in suburban Long Beach CA, just a short drive from the LB town center where there are many shops and a movie theater. The restaurant itself is nice as soon as you walk in, large and open. There are a couple booths as you walk in by the window, but the rest are booths against the wall that spans the restaurant, some tables, and bar seating. At any time of day, there are always people inside eating. The staff is always friendly there, and ready to help you ASAP. They have GREAT daily specials on rolls, and also wonderful lunch time steals. The quality of their food is also top notch. Everything from their salads, miso soup, teriyaki salmon filets, and large selection of fresh sushi is supreme. I am an AVID sushi lover, and the quality of the fish at Fusion NEVER disappoints; not to mention the fact they don’t skimp out on the portions of fish by adding too much rice like some places do. This is a great place for everything from a nice dinner date, to a family outing.

Great place for sushi. 1st check in gets you a 2 piece gyoza appetizer… For those that also want other options to eat, they have good menu choices. I got the Bulgolgi, which was bomb. Customer service is also prime. They were attentive and very quick to respond to our requests, especially the refills on the bottomless drinks! This was my second time here, first time as a Unilocal!‘r and I intend to come back! Kirin and Sapporo on tap, so I need to come back when I am not driving… Make sure you sign up for their free«Fusion Sushi Rewards» Club. My fiancé got her card punch and is almost to the $ 10 reward… Oh yeah, finish it off with their selection of Macaron Ice Cream and just a scoop of green tea ice cream…
