Today we went to El Torito for dinner. We got seated in the bar area. Our server Dhino was very attentive and explained the happy hour menu as well as the full menu. The drinks and food were really good. When we needed refills in our drinks he was in top of it even before we asked. Because of the great service I will recommend for my family and friends to visit this location. I will be coming back.

Upon arrival, we were greeted. They sat my sister and I immediately at a table for 5. It was one of those annoying tables where you need to constantly ask the person next to you if they can get up so you can get out. Waiting for my parents to arrive, I asked to switch tables I was also taking in consideration my mom’s back problems. The hostess kindly switched us over to an actual table with only a 10 minute wait.
It’s your typical buffet food, you get a selective amount. They ran out of plates and I constantly found myself asking when the plates would be brought out. I go to the beverage section to find that they ran out of cups as well. I get it, it’s Sunday and busy. Mediocre food for my personal taste. I probably got up 3 times to try something new in hopes that I’d find a dish that would satisfy enough, instead I left half of each dish .
Now, in regards to the service I concluded that the bigger parties were getting all the assistance and smaller tables like mine were forgotten. It was obvious who they were prioritizing .The table right next to ours, was approached multiple times and I heard the waitress follow up and made sure their party was being taken care of. I on the other hand, kept poking my head out like a flamingo in search of my waitress. There was a point where I gave up trying to get anyone’s attenton for a simple fork, I started eating my hot waffle with my fingers. There was a table of 2 next to mine, and it appeared that we shared the same problem. When I glanced at my forgotten neighbors I knew at that point we weren’t alone. Big or small, every table should get the same attention. $ 120 for 4 people and 2 beers seemed overpriced. I’ll give it a 3 stars because I was greeted and the cooks I encountered with while serving at the buffet, were very nice to me. I think next time my dad invites me to breakfeast, I’ll listen to my respected Unilocal friends and try someplace else. I don’t think the food or service on behalf of our waitress was pleasing enough to make me look forward to waking up on a Sunday and make the drive out.

Last weekend a friend of mine and I came here for a paint night and decided to have dinner before the activity. We arrived an hour before the event and there weren’t very many people there. We thought, this is great we won’t have a wait and we can eat without feeling rushed… WRONG. We waited 20minutes before I had to go find someone to get us water and menus. When they finally took out order, it was almost 40 minutes to veggie fajitas and shrimp fajitas. The waiter never came to pick up the bill, so we headed into our event. In fact, we didn’t pay for our food until the end of the event after the waitress who took drink orders during the event hunt him down! While the entrees were good and they did comp us an order of guacamole (which was mediocre at best), I won’t be coming back nor will I be referring any one to eat here.

Had the Steak Fajita Salad. Always my favorite! Elise was our server. She deserves a 5+++ stars!!!

Went to Sunday brunch with my mom on Mother’s Day. It was packed. We had a reservation so we were seated almost immediately. The food was good and our server, Ellese, was AMAZING! Very quick and friendly.
In a nutshell, excellent service and decent food. Not sure if I would attend another Sunday brunch but I am open to trying out Taco Tuesday.

Food was good, service was excellent. The sweet corn cake wasn’t as good as when my wife makes it at home from the El Torrito package which baffles me. The environment was great with the exception of the table across the way getting tableside guacamole from a waitress that talked so loud and wouldn’t shut up.

Their Sunday Is Mouth Opening Do Know where To Start But Me Princess Wanted Waffles And The My Little Pony That Was On The Table For The kids… Sunday Funday Bunch Yummy yummy I want it all.

First you better be hungry the portions are large my hubby ordered the carne asada, very tastey, my son the chicken, shrimp and carne asadawhich we had to take some home. I got the carnitas served with beans, rice, coleslaw salad and corn, oh I am soo glad I skipped lunch. I have tried on other occasions the strawberry margaritas, mango and now the melon and they have other flavors. Made my week .The service was good and our meal was very enjoyable. Oh I forgot the topping of the night the dessert our favorite the flan. Which made my son a very happy camper.

Recommend the Chicken Fajita salad. Always hot and tasty with plenty to fill you up. Plus, they always keep the chips and salsa coming. You can also ask for the spicier salsa instead of the tomato salsa.

I visit this location often and the service is always great. This time I had the pleasure of having Juan as my server. He was very kind, attentive, and most importantly fast. As a former server I respect people that work hard and even on a busy Taco Tuesday treat every table as if it were the only table. The manager Alma came over and was also very kind and even asked for our names, I thought that was a nice touch. You guys are great and the food was great also. Thanks for the great service, my family and I will be back next week.

They seemed to recently have expanded their menu and went through some what of a staff change here. I came here for an Easter breakfast buffet and all their staff Greeted my family from the time we were just entering to the time we were seated. Waiters were super attentive to us asking if we needed refills or anything else. Their buffet was hooked up with menudo, abondigas, shrimp and scallop plates, salad bar, a seperate taco, omelette, burrito booths which were freshly being made for the buffet goers and a very nice pastry corner which had some flan and other Mexican pastries. Will definitely come back here Again especially during their Sunday breakfast and brunch buffets

I appreciate good service, especially when my food is involved! For a guest services manager to reach out to me and want to address and fix my concerns means that this is not how they operate business as a whole and that means it can get better and I hope so, I live so close to here & love El Torito. Update: So I just had dinner here tonight, and I got the wrong sauce on one of my kids enchiladas but other than that minor mistake the service here was awesome tonight! Maria was my waitress and her service was A1! Thank you Maria! Oh and I can’t forget Alma the manager on duty was very sweet and helpful as to the oversight on the sauce! I feel totally comfortable coming back here now, & I will be back as long as there is Maria & Alma! Thank you for changing my mind about this location!

We were at this restaurant and mario flores was our waiter providing us with excellent and prompt service. He was able to answer my question about the two different meals I was considering.

Bad bad bad… Where do I begin? Arrived on a Sat evening with the Fam. We walked in and were the only ones waiting to be seated. It took them 20 minutes to seat us. I thought that was a bit long seeing there were open tables visible to the eye. They finally sit us after having a busboy clean a table that had been free of patrons at the time we walked in.
We get seated and I’m hoping the experience would get better from this point (boy was I wrong!). After being seated for another 20 minutes we had no water, no chips n salsa, nor had anyone stopped by to take our order. I waived down a waitress from another section who apologized for the wait, told us who our assigned waiter was, and then politely took our order and provided water, chips and salsa.
I ordered an appetizer for our group of five, two mojitos, and four entrées. The drinks come out about three minutes after we ordered them. I’m thinking things are about to get better (boy was I wrong!!!). The mojitos get to the table and we don’t realize the waiter delivered them with no straws. So after waiting 10 minutes to flag down a waitress from ANOTHER section (as our waiter hadn’t come back since he dropped our drinks) we get some straws to drink our now watered down mojitos.
The food comes out about 10 minutes after that, and I ask the waiter «what happened to the table side guacamole» as he’s placing the last entrée down on the table he replies «it’s coming next». When do you eat your entrée then eat your appetizer for dessert? The only thing running through my head was «where they do that at?» As my wife ate her Cesar Salad she found two chunks of chicken in it that weren’t supposed to be there (mystery meat).
To sum it all up if you enjoy being ignored, love crap customer service, and have no issue with eating appetizers for dessert. This is the place for you!

El Torito located on Atlantic is a very good for breakfast ver Manito is really great really goes real fast also also good for brunch the brunch specials are great to have you to check it out

DO NOT EAT at this restaurant unless you want food poison. I went to this restaurant for taco tuesday, Dec 1. I ate one (1) shrimp taco and drank a margarita, and shrimp taco tasted nothing like shrimp taco. Later that night I started to have stomach aches, vomiting, and explosive diarrhea. I had to call in sick the next day.

Very very delicious!!! I always enjoyed there food. I like the ranch dressing. And the dessert are good crowded at lunch. The price are cheap. Good for kids.

Our server was Ellese, and let me start off by saying that she was absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I started off by ordering 2 mango margaritas, yum! Made my taste buds crazy! It was our lucky day since they had a 3 $ margarita special today. She was very polite, nice and gave me a compliment on what I was wearing. What an angel! We also ordered steak fajitas. They were sensational, I don’t even know how I’m typing right now, I’m absolutely stuffed. The food and the drinks were great and the service was much better than the last time we were here. Thank you Ellese for putting a smile on our faces and making our day!
