I have been here many times. And the experience has been different every time. The food is okay. I love my tacos and carne asada. I love their guacamole with chips. But, it’s a bit pricey for the amount. On our last visit everything was okay, except. My husband ordered one of those specials, all you can eat. The server never came back after our food was delivered. My husband didn’t get to order his 2nd meal and beer. Plus, I wanted desert and a glass of water.

I came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day, so I expected a pretty long wait. They were pretty busy, but we got to a table quickly. Our server, Shelby, had a totally full, very busy section and was working it like a BOSS! She was super helpful, and got our food out quickly, and was super friendly. I honestly expected it to take way longer, but Shelby totally killed it. She even had killer Netflix recommendations! Thanks for the awesome service and fantastic food!

Love coming here to this establishment. One of the servers named Laura she is sweet and kind while doing an excellent job. Jorge, who is the manager was kind to us as well, greeting us when we came in and checked up on us. Overall a plesent experience everytime.

Me and my family have been El Torito Family for years. I stop by the Long Beach town center twice a month. Today I tried for lunch Tacos Jalisco, three tacos basted with chile adobo and lightly browned. I choose the barbacoa beef with manchego cheese, served with frijoles de la olla, avocado slices and rice. Excellent portion, Great flavor! Descent price if you take in consideration the awesome service and smiles from the staff. The Manager Peter always approaches my table and make sure my people and I are well catered. They also have refreshing signature drinks and a great ambiance. Definitely a must try experience.

A friend and I come here regularly, we enjoy the food and service. But one night was very disappointing. Not only did we not get served one of the items we ordered but the service was really bad. I’m not sure if the server was new or whateva but she needs more training. Training on remembering what guest ordered and how to smile. Destinee was her name. Train her!!!

Amazingly mediocre. The Cadillac Margarita glass was filled to the top with ice. It was literally three sips and gone. When I mentioned it to the waitress she kept smiling and nodding, then I realized she spoke no English. Oh well.

Was at the El Torito in the town center mall on Carson in Lakewood. Had a coupon buy one entrée and get one free. It’s so nice to get coupons and $ 5.00 dollars off entire check that it makes dinning out more affordable and fun. We ordered two fajita combos. Omar served our entrée fresh from scratch, it was very attractive and tasted so good. It was a real dinning Pleasure.

Me and my husband love coming to this El Torito when catching a movie at the towne center. We decided to try the new fajitas and they were awesome! Our server, Destinee was friendly and provided exceptional service! The manager George even stopped by to check on our meal! They made sure we felt at home and had a tasty meal to eat! It’s an El Torito. Their Sunday brunch isn’t as good as the one on PCH, but still good. Service in the bar is good. I go to this location because they give me 10% off for being awesome. Or because I had movie tickets for the cinema next door.

Came 10⁄23 to have a nice relaxing dinner with my boyfriend before our movie at Edwards. To my surprise on a Friday night this place was dead a bit hesitant but we still dine in (bad mistake)!. We were half way done with our dinner & my boyfriend spotted a Huge roach crawling from a booth across from him to his!!! Totally disgusted we called the waiter & he agreed that they had a roach infestation. He quickly called the manager to our table and Long story short. We will Never dine there again.

Typical El Torito experience; not bad, not great. It was rather empty when I walked in. The server came right away and was nice. The food was served hot to the touch. Salsa was fresh, but seemed to taste more bland than usual.

This is one of three spots to go to before we go to the movies. We usually sit at the bar and have not had a bad experience yet. Yes they are busy, yes they sometimes run short, but they drinks have always been good, and the service, while short at times, has always been good.
Since they do run short at times, they busing of tables is sometimes lacking, hence the four and not a five star rating.
The chips have always been good and the salsa for us has been fresh! Will continue to go there!

Bar is clean, friendly staff, good food.
If course it doesn’t hurt that the chips are fresh and the salsa is good. The house margaritas are not to bad either.

This was my first time coming to El Toritos. Wasn’t sure what to expect but my experience overall was good.
The service was probably a 4⁄5. Honestly our server was swamped and visibly working the hardest he could. But at the same time he did forget about us at times. He was good overall though. He did his best and got us our food and drinks without question. That’s all I can ask.
The food: 4⁄5 as well. It’s certainly authentic and tasty although I have had better. I think you can get a lot of food for a reasonable price. They have many options, some better than others. Overall though it was a pretty enjoyable experience. I would go again for sure.

Shelby our waitress was really sweet & attentive. She noticed I made a couple comments abt being cold & she mentioned to her manager to adjust the ac for me. Also our table was wobbly so before we could even ask for it to b fixed she fixed it for us. El Torito is a place my fiancé & I come to for a quick informal & causal dinner. So it gets the job done. Decent food & drinks & great service. Can’t go wrong

Food was good. But service was horrible.
Once we got our check the manager ran our card charging us double of the check amount. It took them over 30 minutes to figure out how to refund my money back. After all said and done they could not give us a receipt showing the original transaction and refund.
The manager didnt understand how the process works and wasnt very helpful.
I have never had a bad experience like this before. Definitely wont be going back to this El Torito again.

Came here on a Saturday night and the wait was about 5 minutes for a party of two. The service was very prompt and friendly. Our waitress, Jill, was excellent. After hiking up in LA we were starving and knew already what we wanted to order. The food hit the spot. I had the steak quesadilla which comes with guacamole and sour cream. Definitely a larger size quesadlila and they do not hold back on the steak… it was delicious! We were in and out of there in 30 minutes. Fit my food craving at that moment and have no complaints!
