I just went to this place the other day to get some quick Mexican food because that is what I was craving. The price is really cheap but I had to repeat my order to the girl at the register three times. Then when I got my order I checked it just to make sure it was correct before i left, and it was still wrong. The cashier had the nerve to roll her eyes at me like I was the idiot when in fact she was. Long story short, I will not be going to this Mexican food joint again, I was very disappointed. The food was okay, not too great, but not horrible. Not good enough to go back with the service I experienced. I wasn’t looking for a high end Mexican food restaurant but I was looking for some good service.

I like this place a lot. It tastes home cooked. I think the food here is very flavorful. The pork meat in green sauce, and chilaquiles BOMB! The salsa bar is great, a lot of places dont really offer more than 3 salsas. The costumer service is nice. The location is easy to find. There’s usually a lot of parking. The area isn’t the best and no public restroom :(that’s y I gave them 4 stars.

Lived across the street for almost two years before I gave them a shot. I’m so happy I did. Some of the best Mexican food in the area! Friendly staff and amazing salsa bar. Try their green avacado sausce. You won’t be dissapointed.

This was my go-to place for tacos, papusas and even some burritos. It’s a small hole-in-the-wall type place, pretty much hidden away. Used to love eating here. Haven’t had a bad meal.

Just tried this last night, I didn’t like it too much. I always try and stick to the little guy, local joints, when I go out for Mexican food because they’re usually always on point with it meat, tast, salsas’ etc.
Now for experience it was okay, my order simple and small but took a while but still orders taken after me were completed first. I’m sure it could’ve been better but I did go in when it was empty and it was slow while I was waiting as well. Also, when we were asked«for here or to go?» I clearly said here but it was given to me in to-go bags once finished. I normally go for carne asada burritos or carne asada fries if they have it.
My choice for this resturant was a burrito and I wasn’t happy with it… it was really small and the meat wasn’t too good. My girlfriend got seviche and wasn’t happy with her results either she said the tasted was off and too salty. I probably came on a bad day, maybe next time tho.

Bomb ass tortillas. Bomb salsa that is super spicy and will burn your tongue off. Taco meat is just ok. Buy the tortillas and make your own tacos at home…

Tasty Peruvian food! The food is tasty but the biggest disappointment is the frozen fries that are used for the saltado. As a Peruvian restaurant, using fresh and prime potatoes is central to authentic Peruvian cuisine. Service is okay.

The lengua(tongue) tacos al vapor are great. Popusas are really cheesy and good. If you like hot salsa I recommend trying their habanero salsa. The mojara was also really good. So far everything I tried here has been great.

This place is great. It is indeed in North Long Beach but stays busy because the owner runs it well and has structured it so everything is perfect when he is not there. I am going to update my review for this because last time I was there I clicked«check in» on my Unilocal and my smart phone offered me a free small nacho and small drink. The staff did not hesitate when I chose horchata. If I’m ever in the area for any reason looking for something quick and tasty to eat. THISISMYPLACE. Pro tip: $ 1 tacos!(Get the asada, The chicken is shredded chicken.) Also the fixings bar is well stocked with guac, hot sauces, limes, extra onions, pretty much anything you need on the tacos.

I had this restaurant cater a family event(they have taquero). They brought 3 kinds of meat, beans, rice, 3 types of salsas and horchata & Jamaica to drink. I’ve tried many different tacos catered by all different restaurants, and i can honestly say these were the best tacos I’ve ever had! The al pastor were my favorite but it was all excellent. The service was great, they arrived early and were friendly. I am definitely using this restaurant in the future!

Now I know, finally, where to go to get burritos, pupusas, etc. Their burritos are filled up with rice, beans and meat! On top of that, the prices are not expensive at all. The serving ladies are so nice and friendly! Thanks! I defiantly recommend this place to who wants a quick and yummy mexican foods and pupusas. There are also tables for eating at the premise. Enjoy!

I was craving for some Salvadorian pupusas and was informed by a coworker that they have yummy pupusas here. This is not a Salvadorian restaurant. However, their pupusas were pretty yummy. An order consisted of 2 large pupusas accompanied by some kind of pickled cabbage and carrots. The cabbage and warm salsa werer great with the pupusas. For $ 3.50 an order, it is a steal. They had other food such as chilli rellenos, tamalas, tostas, flautas, etc… All looked pretty good. Just wished I had more room in my stomach to try other things. The place is small and it’s in a run down strip mall in the same lot as McDonald on the corner of Artesia and Atlantic. The service was friendly, the food is good, and the price is cheap. If you’re in the area, stop by and try them out.
