We were looking for a coffee house nearby. The walk from our hotel seemed a little shorter than to Starbucks so we decided to give it a try. Great choice! Excellent coffee! We will be back tomorrow.

Great for not only coffee, but smoothies as well. You can always count on them to have a newspaper available for you to read and delicious pastries and snacks for you to enjoy with your coffee. They have a small stash of board games to play if you are with company and want to hang out. Outdoor seating is available either out front or out back in the open courtyard with fountain view (ooh la la). Don’t forget free WiFi! Can you find the helicopter on the huge picture mounted on the wall?

FINALLY!!! Proper coffee… the staff (Kim i think?) Was pleasant and chatty which was nice. Food was fresh and tasty. I sat outside and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the col breeze. Great find on my holiday’s.

I stopped in here to kill time and got a hot green tea latte, and it’s one of the best I’ve had! The atmosphere is cozy with local artwork hanging on the walls. Free internet and plenty of outlets are a big plus.

I’m particular about my coffee and brew house satisfies my tastebuds. There’s no convenient way to get there by car really, but perhaps that adds to the journey. I’m fairly simple as one of my go-to’s is a hazelnut latte. Brew Haus has one of the best in the area as far as the Not Starbucks coffee shops go. Highly recommend.

I have been here just because it’s close to my house. I had a milk spiced cha and it was really amazing! So tasty! I also had a brownie but was not so special. Maybe they can make it sexier serving sweets in a plate. The cafè has nice decoration and you can also sit on the open area. I will come back for their delicious coffe!

This little out-​of-​the-​way stop was a healthy walk from the Queen Mary for us last Friday morning, but WELL worth it. Friendly vibe, great selection of coffees, teas, and hot cocoa with alternate milk choices. I love searching out local hang-​outs and bet that the people who live nearby visit this place regularly. Yum.

My friend moved in to the apartment complex behind brew haus so I’ve been coming here every day for about a month since we carpool to work. I’m addicted to coffee. I drink 4 – 6 cups a day. For years the only place I’d go was Starbucks and if there wasn’t a Starbucks around I’d drive to one! Haha. So when I started going to brew haus it was definitely out of the norm but I’m glad I did. They have more regular coffee choices than my usual place, and the Hawaiian roast is especially good. Their mocha is also top notch. Highly recommend. Not only are the drinks good, but their pastries are better too. I also like the atmosphere here. The place has a really cool feel to it and the owners are good people. Plus it’s locally owned and we should all support local business. In short, try brew haus!

Cute place. Ample places to sit outside or inside. Very neighborhood-​like feel.
Why only three stars? Service wasn’t the friendliest. No greeting upon arrival. Asked where the milk was; got kind of a snotty «in the ‘fridge» response. Uh, sorry, I’d never been there before.
Glad it’s refrigerated unlike the chain places that go through it like water but c’mon — it’s not obvious.
Appreciate the fact that they are environmental-​friendly. You can recycle your cup holder. (Hint: it’s near where the sugar is, in case it’s not obvious.)

A hidden gem at the Camden apartments, tucked in the corner near Wine bar and Buono’s Pizza. I love the Bobo’s oat bars and the only other place I know that has these are at Sprouts but that’s too much for me to go there when I live only a few minutes away from here.
The service here is usually quick and definitely no drama. The coconut clouds desserts are also my favorite. The icing looks a bit much but it really isn’t and the yellow cake inside is just right-​neither dry or mushy.
The outdoor patio out in the back area is so nice for some peace and quiet. It’s never really that crowded out there.

SAN PEDRO, CA
The people here are so sweet and helpful. Sometimes they can be a little slow because they take a lot of care making their drinks, so if you are in a hurry call ahead of time. You can come in. pay and your drinks are being finished at the bar.
I always order the iced vanilla chai with almond milk. It is seriously to DIE for. And I never say that about anything. Most things to me are just eh it is good. This is an exception.
I also had the chicken wrap which was like Chinese chicken salad and very good in the spinach wrap.
Inconsistent customer service, mediocre drinks, slightly high prices. BUT I love that all their outdoor seating is always in the shade, I never have to wait long for anything, and their location across the street from the downtown library is convenient to my life.
