this is unarguably the worst starbucks I’ve been to. I have yet to have an experience where they are not out of at least one thing i’m asking for. I usually let things slide and rarely write bad reviews but today just irritated me to no end. They were out of breakfast sandwiches AND the espresso machine was broken(can’t even steam milk!) What’s worse is their unapologetic attitude towards everything. like«welp…sucks for you» not my idea of good customer service.

Again, the staff is very friendly and even offsets the higher prices of the licensed location. However, the fact that the place is completely unreliable with closing times(they closed at 2pm today with no notice; I went there this morning, I’d have seen if there was a sign) means I won’t be wasting my time or dollars for Marriott’s profit any longer. Just keep walking to 242 Pine where there is no sales tax, rewards are properly calculated and accepted, and the store hours are reliable.

We stayed at the hotel for the LB half marathon. Hubby got a drip coffee and all I wanted was a cup of ice water since it was really warm after the race. We go to Starbucks a lot(in the Inland Empire) and this one of the slowest we’ve experienced. They were not friendly either. Almost seemed annoyed that all I wanted was ice water even though we also paid for coffee. My husband reminded me that we had the same problem last year. Slow and unfriendly. Next time we will stop at the Starbucks at the Hyatt or another location.

Nice location, good seating, and liked the music(low volume and pleasant). Major gripe is that they closed at 2:30 instead of 4:00 today due to «business demand» — which was extremely low. I came here for a two-hour solid work session, so this almost foiled my plans. The nice barista let me know that since I bought a coffee, I could chill in the hotel’s lobby. This turned out to be a major upgrade!

No easy Wi-Fi — you have to use the hotel’s & it requires a code. Does not use the Starbucks ap, Price is 15% above regular Starbucks, no electrical outlet that I could discern

It was nice of them to fix my order… kind of… but the staff was rude about it. Will not be coming back.

Really? Do you really have to throw away my drink if it’s not claimed within 10 minutes while I use the restroom? Because this location is operated by The Renaissance, the prices are slightly higher and they do not participate in any of the promotions. Nope, you can’t get your first free refill(with gold card) here on that coffee or iced tea. With that being said, I gladly choose to walk over to the one on Pine and use my gold card there with confidence. It’s actually harder to use the restroom here now. It’s located down the hall in the main part of the hotel. Before, you can just walk in. Then they changed to having to get a key from the cashier. Now, you must show your receipt to the hotel reception in order to be given a key card that you have to return. Even with the annoyances, this is still a safe haven from the heat outside as with any establishment with air conditioning.

Starbucks Gold Card members, BEWARE! This is yet another location that does not reward your loyalty! If you would like your loyalty to be recognized and you to be treated respectfully, go somewhere else.

Nice little Starbuck’s location tucked away amid the Renaissance Hotel. If I hadn’t stayed there, I would have never even known it existed, though I suppose if one walked the Promenade, it may be visible. Great staff that provides quick, top notch service along with a decent cup of Joe!!! Beats the hell out of that«brew your own» crap found in one’s hotel room…

A Starbucks that does not participate in the rewards program? Umm!!! This isn’t one of those Starbucks inside a random store, this is a full Starbucks. Granted, it’s smaller than most but they’ve got everything all other Starbucks have. Coffee, food, seating areas, etc. Everything except the ability to redeem a reward. Hashtag lame!

I am fan of the location and the lack of people that were standing in line when I got there at lunch time. When I entered the store, I was the only one in line… I literally stopped, took a deep breathe and thanked the Universe for another miracle. I have never ever before experience that in my life… no one standing in line in front of me or behind me. When my drink was ready, the barrister actually handed my drink to me and for a moment our eyes met… wow eye contact with a Starbucks barrister…“Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” {Casablanca 1942} This location is definitely a hidden gem. If you attempt to visit this location by car, I will warn you, you will be frustrated with parking. The location is off Ocean which offers some street parking but that’s not guaranteed which is why most drivers choose to visit the location a few blocks north of Pine. If your’e walking however, this is ideal. Great indoor and outdoor seating. This location is also unique because they do not carry all items offered by Starbucks. I was told by the cashier that it’s because they are an independently owned store. At the time that really didn’t matter to me especially when it meant that the one drink I showed up to purchased was not on the menu. So… I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have the Fizzio but after drinking the Peach green tea lemonade with a few extra pumps of peach sweetener on the house, I forgot all my troubles. Fizzio who? lol

This Starbucks location is located connected to the Renaissance Hotel. It was a great place to come for a quick breakfast and relax session in the morning. I chose an everything bagel(with butter) and cappuccino. Both were done to Starbucks quality! In the morning there was an eclectic crowd of people getting their morning going and what appeared to be working remotely! Come before 8(if you can) as the 8 — 9AM crowd it gets busier!

annoyed. Dear Starbucks, I will never speak Starbuckese. When I order a café au lait please don’t make eye contact with me and say«misto» like I’m a 3 year old who didn’t say please. Please just make my drink for which that I’m paying your business. Fail. Don’t half step. Just go to the local shop across from train station.

First, this is the first Starbucks that I’ve gone to, and they did not have enough people working. This one is located in the hotel, and they’re two conferences utilizing the hotel. Next a bold cup of coffee, is no where to be found.

I have found this staff repeatedly rude and short. Much too preoccupied with talking to each other than to connect with the customer. When you are in a business neighborhood, connecting with the customer is as important as your product.

There’s a Sip and a Starbucks. More options! I chose Starbucks, came in for a quick breakfast and that’s exactly what I got. The gals working were nice enough, food and coffee were hot and fresh, service was fast. Can’t ask for much else :)

This place is pretty nice. The barrista’s made a mistake on mine and my boyfriend’s order so we got double the drinks haha. They’re very friendly and I love the little outside area they have. This starbucks is attached to the hotel so it’s really nice and quiet. I also can get enough of how fancy the bathrooms were. Goodness, that place was nice. That probably is a typical bathroom for a high-end rich person, but to me that place was really nice haha. It was a really refreshing drink we got during the Grand Prix. It was hot during that time. This starbucks is good.
