My first mystery dinner theatre in over 10 years and it was a blast. All the actors really commit to the characters and don’t break at all. It was funny how they named some of the characters after real people like George Looney. On the night I went the audience participants were all really into it also. One was so funny that he almost as good as the actors. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that the Reef’s food wasn’t very good. It was buffet dinner style and was really lacking. The best part was the dessert.

Great show. Don’t forget cash for valet and to tip actors. A little tough to find on GPS. Its at the reef restaurant. Like most dinner theater its group tables so you get to meet some new people. Great deal for dinner and show. Good for a laugh, something different.

Oh my gosh — what a hilarious way to spend an evening! The characters and writing were surprising and over-the-top funny. It’s a good thing that the food isn’t served while each of the three acts are in progress or there would be people snorting prime rib and chocolate cake out of their noses! All of the characters(including the audience participants) are unbelievably entertaining. In fact, one of my friends was actually laughing so hard that I thought she was going to need her inhaler. The lifeguard’s ballet moves still crack me up when I think of them! You can bet that I’ll be there for the next play they present in January. What a hoot!!!

What a great event for Long Beach! We had such a wonderful time, laughed so hard and walked away giddy. Even though I didn’t want to at first, accepting one of the parts and getting to be a part of the play made it even better. It’s a real experience!
