As already mentioned, this is a store front with a huge selection of pierogi(approx.22 different flavors costing between $ 6 and $ 8 for a dozen). Our favorite is the potato, bacon and onion. Delish =) They are sold precooked and frozen so all you need to do is thaw and fry. They also sell 2 different sauerkrauts — the dill and garlic is wonderful. BUT, my oh my, we just tried the Gołąmbki and they were well-seasoned and scrumptious. As a few others have posted — they could probably improve their welcoming: customers often feel they are rushed –perhaps anxious to get back to their conversation in the kitchen but really, as long as they deliver the tasty goods, it’s all good.

I was looking for authentic pierogi to take to Easter dinner since the person who usually brings them is out of town. I was welcomed warmly when I walked in and expressed that it was my first time there. I ordered four dozen(potato and cheese, farmers cheese, sauerkraut, ½ dozen potato and jalapeño, ½ dozen plum). They are delicious! Everyone loved them from my husband’s 93-year-old grandma to our friend’s 1-year-old little girl. My husband said the sauerkraut are the best he’s ever had. I’m so glad we found Lila’s, and we’re already planning when to go back!

Lila’s is a storefront, not a restaurant. They sell a wide variety of frozen pierogi as well as(frozen) stuffed cabbage and sauerkraut. Lila’s will also do custom pierogi fillings if whatever you seek is not on their menu. Service is knowledgeable and prompt. The facility is clean.

This is the only place i go to buy pierogis! They have so many its hard to pick, they even have great breakfast pierogis. If you shop at Kroger be sure to check the back of your receipts because there are coupons. I also noticed the kitchen is always very clean. Support local businesses!

Lila’s pierogi are the *best*! I grew up in a Polish household, with homemade pierogi and food around me constantly. I have to say, these are the closest thing, if not better, to what I remember as a kid. Not only do they have all the traditional flavors, but new ones, including mushroom/beef/cheese, «breakfast» sausage and egg(as previous reviewer mentioned), which are all delicious. And the blueberry and fruit ones — WOW. It’s a great way to eat homemade quality food, and not have to make these yourself(for any of you that have, you know how time consuming it is!) The prices are reasonable and it’s a truly a treasure!

Three stars just for selling pierogi. I usually make them myself but sometimes, especially around the holidays, it’s just too much. I’ve only been here once and am fairly confident I won’t be back, barring a pierogi catastrophe. Here’s the thing. They are rude. I know things can get hairy during the holidays, but c’mon, treat your customers with a little respect. I was promptly corrected on my pierogi pronunciation(like a 3rd grader) and then verbally lashed when I tried to prepay an order. They were working on a new batch of whatever flavor. I wanted to pay, run a couple errands and come back to pick them up in the hour or so they said they’d be done. Sadly, they refused, saying they weren’t going to wait around all day for me to pick up my order. Not pleasant, but fine. I steered my pierogi-craving ass down Middlebelt to Jennie’s, where they were more than happy to oblige. With a smile AND a Merry Christmas :)

Lila’s has some of the the best frozen pierogis I’ve had. They’re pre-cooked, so all you have to do is thaw and brown in a fry pan(try adding some onions). The potato cheese are probably my favorite, and I keep waiting for the time when the allusive blueberry are in season. Also, as odd as it may sound, their bacon, egg, and cheese, pierogis are good for a breakfast alternative. They also have sausage, egg, and cheese ones. Worth trying too!

Found this space on accident since it was really near the auto shop I like. They only sell frozen pierogi’s and have a dozen different different flavors. I fried a few up with a little butter, and they were quite satisfying. We had the potato and cheddar, but our favorite was the ham and jalepeno. Main thing is that they are supper close compared to the classic hamtramck. pick up a few dozen for your freezer for a polish fix!
