Janice Birney, MD – Columbine Audiology

Dr. Birney is literally a life saver! My son was very ill and after going to his regular pediatrician as well as the local emergency room only to be told that he had a «virus» that of course nothing could be done about I reached out to Dr. Birney’s office.
Dr. Birney was so very thorough in her examination of my son that she immediately recognized the true issue (as I had originally suspected) that he had a severe case of strep throat. (Don’t always listen to your Dr’s when they tell you the rapid strep test came back negative! If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck etc, then its probably a duck! and you need someone like Dr. Birney in your corner!!)
Due to the outright neglect of his pediatrician and the local ER Dr’s my son almost died as his tonsils were so infected he had to be put on a steroid and scheduled for surgery within days of our visit to Dr. Birney. She noted in our post surgical appointment that had I not gotten my son to her when I did that his tonsils would have burst causing him to go toxic and he would have died. She is literally a life saver!
Since this time, I have recommended so many of my clients to her for care. My oldest daughter has seen her as have I. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
