I did get great service during my visit, but unfortunately how Sally Jobe coded my mammogram as Diagnostic rather than Preventative resulting in an $ 800 bill to me for my insurance deductible rather than it being covered by insurance as my other annual mammograms were. I just wanted to post this so others can know that preventative mammograms are typically covered by insurance whereas diagnostic mammograms may go towards your deductible depending on your insurance. Your mammogram can be coded as Diagnostic if you complain of any breast issues or concerns, and can include additional images and review. However, I hadn’t had a mammogram in over a year, so I thought this would be considered an annual preventative procedure. Just wanted others to have a «heads Up» about the difference and difference in billing! I did speak with a service rep at Sally Jobe about letting others know during their check in process, but they said that insurance billing is so complicated, it would not be practical.

On what potentially could have been one of the hardest days of my life the staff was amazing. they kept me talking and we went through the uncomfortable procedure with dignity; i felt relaxed and like i was in competent hands the whole time, and they never left me in the dark i walked out knowing «the girls» were OK.
