I loved this place! I’ll definitely be coming back. The service was great and the food was even better. The ambiance was really nice and the wine list was pretty amazing. I tried the Magret de Canard it it was awesome! What a great little hidden gem in Littleton.

Awesome spot! We decided to try this place after walking by it so many times on our way to other bars/restaurants on Main St. So glad we did! It is a super cozy converted old house and the ambiance was perfect. Service was excellent. Great menu and wine selection too. We ordered the mini crêpe for an appetizer which was to die for, and even treated ourselves to a French press and crème brûlée, which may have been the best part of the meal! Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor area!

Our family had a wonderful meal at this quaint little bistro off Main Street in Littleton. We ordered the olive and garlic appetizer, butternut soup, duck and coq au vin as main dishes and crème brûlée. Everything was wonderful including the wine! We will definitely be back the next time we come to town! The place is charming.

Any Francophile who has missed JaJas is missing out. They hit the mark with food and ambiance. However, my recommendation is for anyone who craves food where the chef lures fabulous taste out of each plate. Our food was not only cooked to perfection, but seasoned in the most flavorful and magical way! It is beyond words. I’ve been here several times, and it is a five star experience for both brunch and dinner and yes, I’ve even gone in for a snack of the absolutely best frites(french fries) you may ever eat in your entire life. The well decorated, converted old house is a sweet setting and my servers have been the best! They always seem to be a fantastic combination of professional and sweet at the same time. I love coffee and one time my french press was served not as warm as I like. My server immediately replaced it without delay or a hint of attitude with a new complete pot. But again, go there for the food !!! Think pork, mussels, brunch and most of all the frites!!! P. S. Also recommend the charcuterie appetizer…

Wonderful fare in this charming restaurant run by a couple who met in culinary school — wine selection wonderful as well!

What kind of person do you have to be to give this place one star? Did they burn your food to a crisp? Did they make fun of you for ordering off the kids menu? I can honestly say I have only had a couple one star experiences in my WHOLEENTIRELIFE and Jaja is certainly not one of them. This is what prompted this review. It pains me to see people rip apart some of my favorite restaurants on Unilocal,so think of this as internet justice. Although I haven’t written a review in a while, Jaja deserves it. I mostly come here for brunch, and each time it is nothing less than exquisite. I’m pretty sure the new chef is a pig whisperer because the pork belly serenades my mouth as it slowly melts away into salty, fatty, deliciousness. I would highly recommend any of their brunch dishes, but my personal favorites are the Chevre and Chive Omelet and the Eggs with pork belly. The ambiance is cool too, but fellow Unilocalers, THEPORK. I would highly recommend a visit to Jaja

So disappointing, my wife really wanted to go here and so I booked a romantic night out and it was ruined. We got stuck at a small table and completely ignored, we had to waive down anybody that passed by for a drink, the water is served in a fancy bottle but is warm and good luck getting a refill. The appetizers were good but the $ 26 steak was served cold, the sauce was congealed from sitting too long. They bought us desert which was lack luster and dry. I am sorry but for a meal that cost us $ 140 and 20 minutes of trying to park, just not worth it. Really ruined a nice night out!

The new owners have expanded the menu which we appreciate. Now there is always a chicken and pork dish and croque monsieur/madame in addirion to the steak and moule frites and other staples. The service was good and the atmosphere is a 5*-can’t be beat. But the food seems to have gone downhill. The Chicken and Eggplant Napolean wasn’t nearly as good as before.

We ate here last week, New owner/chef from what i had heard. I have a few dietary issues, and have never been to a restaurant that was so tuned in and careful as to what i was served… The kitchen and our delightful waitress, Sarah… were so so helpful. We snacked on Olives and Baked Garlic, Brussel Sprouts, Bacon wrapped dates… Steak and Mussels… All delish! A keeper… only thing that is off… is parking, no parking lot, and no handicap access… a bummer, as i would LOVE to take my elderly Mom here.

I went there and had the BEST escargot. For an entrée I got the veal and it was just as good. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Service is a little slow, but the food makes up for it.

Wanted to take my mom somewhere special for her birthday. Most of the food was good, the setting was charming, but the service was TERRIBLE! Worst I have had in a long time! Also, I specifically do not recommend the beef crêpe, it was made with ground beef and tasted odd.

Cute little french restaurant, in a cozy little house, with outdoor seating! I will start with all of the things I loved. The food was just spectacular and all prepared to perfection. This is definitely fine dining — the chef here knows how to put a menu together for sure. Must try appetizer: bacon wrapped dates(AMAZING!). For dinner we had the steak and frites and the mussels — also really yummy and cooked perfectly. Extensive wine list to please any palate. Such a nice little restaurant in the heart of a cute Littleton. Put this on your list for a date night for sure! Our service was not great, or even good, this time around — otherwise this would have been a solid 5 star review.

Paris in Littleton– why not? What a great little restaurant! Great wine, great food, rustic little tables– a nice little set up! The menu is fairly limited, but the options were delicious and we were all happy. It was fun to see the menu etched onto a chalkboard– Tres Parisienne! I enjoyed the steak & frites– my steak was perfect and the fries were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised! I can’t wait to go back!

We were the only people in Jaja Bistro when we went, and although I felt guilty holding everyone up for the night, I appreciated how quickly our meals came out and how attentive our server was. I ordered the croque monsier, and while it was delicious, I started to envy my friend’s crêpe– mainly because I had ordered the same sandwich the last time I went to Jaja Bistro. I will make sure to get a crêpe next time!

I took my Mother here for a nice quaint lunch and what a nice surprise. She had the salad prepared on a crêpe and it was filled with flavor. I had the sandwich and the cheese was so gooey and the meat was so fresh it seemed like they cooked everything from scratch. It was a pleasant surprise and I have been back since to get the sandwich to go and the French fries have a delightful seasoning on them and come to your table fresh and hot! I will most certainly return, the only down side was it was a little slow but well worth the wait.

. Garlicky is what first comes to mind. Second is fabulous Martini. I did enjoy my mussels and french fries. My friend also said her steak and veggies had way too much garlic. Someone that night just had a heavy hand. I have friends who love the restaurant and so I would give it a second chance, It is a cute old house that was transformed into a charming little neighbor restaurant. I hope if I give it a second chance I will be happy.

What a disappointment. We wait at the front entrance, with 3 people in the restaurant, and wait, and wait, and wait. I finally go to the back, and find the waiter talking to some customers. No manager. No one else in sight. I ask him very nicely if they are open, because it was around 1:30, and he says yes. I go back to the front and he eventually seats us, and forgets to bring silverware. Surly is the word. Not a smile, not even a friendly nod. Then the food was really good. I hope he was just having a bad day. We won’t go back. What a shame. 2 stars only for the food. Only for the food.

Came here with Calina for dinner since I had a Living Social Deal I had to use. Now I wish I had gotten more deals but will definitely be coming back, especially to try the crepes! I called to make a reservation, but was told to come on in since it was a slow night. Arrived at 8pm and felt we were transported to a roadside bistro in France. The interior was so quaint and cozy, made us feel comfortable right away. There were about 6 to 7 other people there so it wasn’t loud. We chose a corner table near a window and I liked the base of the table being rounded and comfortable to rest your feet on. Carly, our server, was very friendly and gave great recommendations. We started off with a half dozen escargot in a very tasty sauce as an appetizer – delicious! Carly also brought us a basket of bread(I wish it had been warm), and a patty of homemade butter. I ordered the Millefeuilles d’Aubergines(slice of breaded eggplant layered with roasted chicken topped with a creamy parmesan sauce with sautéed carrots and zucchini. I paired it with a glass of Pinot Grigio. All the flavors came together so well and this dish was so delicious. Calina ordered the Steak au Poivre(certified Angus beef steak(8oz) topped with a velvety peppercorn sauce and potatoes as a side. She paired with a glass of Stella. The steak was cooked just right and was very tasty. We were there for about an hour and were completely satisfied and didn’t have room for dessert. Carly brought out the bill and I noticed right away she didn’t charge us for the wine and beer. I brought this to her attention and she adjusted the bill. She really appreciated our honesty. Hey, got to keep it honest! There is plenty of street parking. Again, will be coming back!

Yummy, yummy! JaJa is a great place for a quiet, casual-ish dinner for two. The restaurant is in a converted home, so the whole place has a lot of history and character — definitely a romantic vibe. I have so far come here twice and had very good experiences. Both times I had the mussels dish(it had been a while and I didn’t remember what I’d had before), and ohmygoodness those mussels are sooooo good! The broth is absolutely amazing; you will want to make sure you ask for extra bread to sop it all up. The mussels come with a side of French fries, which are super delicious as well; I kept having to fight my husband off them! He chose one of the salads(I don’t remember which one), and we were both a little disappointed with its portion size. The appetizer, though, of the bacon-wrapped dates is AMAZING. You MUST try it! The service is decent. On neither of our visits was the server particularly friendly. Not rude or unconcerned or anything, just not interested in the small talk. They tended to walk past our table without checking up on us, so we frequently had to initiate by asking for what we needed. Overall, though, this is a great little restaurant. They have a great wine selection and variety of specials beyond the primary menu(wish I had known that before choosing the mussels a second time!). I am looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other offerings!

JaJa Bistro… How shall I begin…* tick tock tick tock * Several weeks before making my trip to JaJa Bistro, I made a phone call for a reservation. The person who answers my call said I cannot make a reservation for a Party of more than 15 people at one seating. But he said, I should call back and see what the Owner said etc etc… Long story short, on SUNDAY July 14th2013, its Bastille Day in France, so to celebrate that I invite 10 friends to JaJa Bistro for a Brunch Feast. YES, this establishment is in a house. When I arrived at JaJa Bistro, and when I mentioned I have a reservation for 11 people, one of the staffs said, he thought I have cancel the reservation. That reservation was for a 10:30 am BRUNCH. After waiting for a few minutes literally in front of the door entrance, then another staff came to the rescue and mentioned, there are NOPROBLEMS and due to the miscommunications of the Reservation, he can accommodate my friends and I for that morning. They separate us with two seating arrangements. One table holds like 6 chairs, the other holds like another 6 chairs for us. *PHEW* My friends are all excited NOT only about this establishment. Even those who live in Aurora, Golden, Arvada, Highlands Ranch and as far as Broomfield, drive all the way just to have FRENCHBRUNCH that morning with me. Now for the MENU. Since we were the LARGEST Group that morning, both servers handle our group. YES, it was a little wait due to the fact that there are also other patrons. Our servers are also accommodating, to provide the items which AREONTHECHALKBOARD, NOT necessary in the Menu. That morning these were the items we ordered : * Bacon Wrapped Dates * Garlic & Olives * 2 orders of Poulet Bechamel aka Chicken Bechemmel * 2 orders of Croque Monsieur * 1 Jambon Benedict * 1LARGE French Press Coffee * 3 orders of MEDIUM French Press * 1 order of SMALL French Press * 3 orders of Mimosa * 1 Soupe aka Gazpacho * 2 orders of La Chevre * 1 Crêpe Madame * 1 La Fermiere * 1 Parisien Burger * 2 orders of Kir Royale * 1 Croque Madam As for me I opt for Escargots($ 6.00) and Crab Cake Benedictine aka Crab Cake Benedict($ 12.00). The Escargots are already taken out from their shells. I was a little bumped with that, but the flavors are so rich and was indeed delicious. The Escargots is served in a creamy parsley and garlic sauce. My order of Crab Cake Benedict comes with salad and potatoes. The portions are reasonable. Since maybe I was a little full with my order of Escargots, I ate half of my Crab Cake Benedict and bring the leftovers home. The Eggs on top of my Crab Cake oozes when I cut them open and melt away… After our Brunch is almost over, the staffs brought out Complimentary Banana Bread for the table. Definitely a nice touch, to end the Brunch with«Complimentary Desserts» or something sweet. All my friends like what they ordered. Even one of my friends who are from France, and is definitely French, approved about this establishment. She mentioned the food is good. The portions are HUGE to some, and some decide to bring their BRUNCH items in TOGO Boxes. Kudos to Jaja Bistro, and their staffs making the Bastille Day memorable for us. Thank you Stephan and Janelle. My friends kept on raving about the food, the authentic flavors that Jaja Bistro offered that morning, and they cannot wait to come back when schedule permitting. Even though with a little hiccup earlier in the morning, everything went smoothly. Ooh another thing I forgot, JaJa Bistro DOESNOT accept separate checks. Hence, when settling the check at the end of our Brunch, it took awhile coz everyone needs to make sure who order what in the«ticket». Some of my friends also found out the differences in pricing etc etc from the«receipt» and from the Menu. The staffs managed to rectify the problems and issued us the correct check for us to settle the Brunch. Definitely will return to JaJa Bistro when needed. Or another side note, that evening(July 14th2013), JaJa Bistro had their Bastille Day Celebration with some performances and unique menu etc etc. But due to the weather forecast that was unpredictable, I choose to celebrate Bastille Day with my friends at Brunch instead. Left JaJa Bistro at 12:50hrs ish. @165/2013
