Serendipity has an array of British teas that they sell. But their assortments of pastries are the best! Because you can actually do this here — I said my kind sir, may I have some of your Spotted Dick.”(yes I did it!) I even have the photographs!

I just attended a baby shower there today! Although it was a bit of a tight squeeze, I highly recommend this quaint, cute, grandmas-house of a tea shop. The wedding tea was the best, their quiche was as good as grams’… The service takes a while for those nice ladies when you have a large group. Great pick for a baby shower location!

Worst tea room experience I have had. From the moment we walked in for our reservation, we felt that we were a nuisance. The employees were not personable at all. We finally were brought our tea after 50 min of sitting at the table and it was luke warm. Food was ok. The scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd were delicious! Our check was rudely tossed on the table without a thank you and as we were signing the check, they were shutting the blinds and turning off the lights. I understand they may have been understaffed but a polite demeanor and ounce of friendliness could have made our experience much better.

Love this place. I have gone there so many times with girlfriends, for bridesmaid luncheons, and birthdays. It is always delicious, the lady that owns it is so sweet, and you just feel like you live in London and will meet Mr. Darcy on your way home. Absolutely lovely.

My mother-in-law(MIL) and I got together to catch up one Friday afternoon(and, yes, I actually enjoy spending time with her — I lucked out on the MIL lottery) and decided we’d give this little tea shop a try. We’ve never done tea together but thought it would be a nice change of pace. And it was great! We were seated at our reserved table(reservations are recommended) and were presented with a bow-tied envelope contained the list of teas that were available with detailed descriptions of each. We each ordered our tea and it arrived a few minutes later along with a lovely variety of finger sandwiches, mini-desserts of all sorts, fruit and cheese. Moments later we were served lemon scones fresh from the oven. And every single thing I tasted(and I tasted a lot…) was delicious! Everything is made on site and is very fresh and very good. The owner is a very nice woman who is friendly and enjoys talking to her customers but also knows to let her customers get plenty of time on their own to visit and chat. She loves what she does and she’s also well-versed in the history of the home where the tea shop is located as well as the surrounding area(and probably even more than that as she also does tours around the city). She made us feel very welcome and was a gracious hostess. We will definitely return to Serendipi-Tea Shoppe.
