I was traveling for business and the hotel I was staying at recommended Dizzy’s. I ended up eating there twice while I was in town. The beer selection was amazing. I had Jake as a server both times and he suggested the queso dip. Holy cow. I had the chicken spaghetti for dinner one night and had the turkey and pesto sandwich the next day for lunch. The portions were huge! Dizzy’s will be my go-to every time I’m in Little Rock.

Delicious and very prompt service. Went in on a Tuesday night and was done within the hour. Cheese dip is awesome. I had truffle ravioli and my husband got the creole dish. Both great! Husband raved about his! I also had a Ceasar salad that was one of the best I’ve ever had. House salad dressing was also good. I had the wedding cake for dessert and it was delicious. We sat in the bar area and had a very cute/scruffy bartender as a waiter. I think his name was Zach. He was really great! Fabulous service from him. This was my favorite meal in Little Rock.

I love this place. It’s my birthday and this is where I wanted to come. Their chicken spaghetti is to die for. So good I ate it and forgot to take a pic ha ha

This is more of a 3.5 star review. Food was tasty, but nothing memorable. Was told to come here for the famous cheese dip. We split one between the 4 of us and it was just the right amount per person. The cheese dip itself is very good for a cheese dip. You can taste the good quality cheese in the dip. I got the ½ order of Mary Ann’s Orchard. A really nice salad full of fresh ingredients. Had a nice balance of all the ingredients. The other at the table got the Lane’s rav, and some sandwiches. They were all very good quality and all enjoyed their food. Service was pretty good as well and our water glasses were always filled. As I mentioned before, the food was tasty and fresh, but overall nothing to write home about.

They literally took 45 minutes to make the chicken noodle soup. Needless to say my lunch brake was over before they even got it to my table.

Me and a co-worker went during lunch. If you feel like waiting for an hour for your food only to receive it cold then this is your place. The waitress was wonderful and her attitude was amazing but the wait sucked for lack of a better word. Hopefully you have a better experience than we did.

I went here for the 1st time. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Didn’t expect gypsie ladies dancing around everywhere so that was neat. I had the tuxedo pasta, it was okay. I may try it again just for the atmosphere and hope the next dish is better. It’s nice that it’s downtown if your going out afterwards.

Solid option but nothing phenomenal. The saffron creole had way too much sauce on it, though the flavor was decent. The white cake dessert was pretty good and super moist, but not like a traditional wedding cake, as advertising… simply white cake with an almond/vanilla icing. Might be because I went in kind of late for dinner by myself, but I sat at the bar and just had to listen to the bartenders gossiping and chatting with each other, which was kind of annoying.

Two words… cheese dip! The Tommy Knocker crème sodas are wonderful, both strawberry and almond. Atmosphere is cool. Pretty much everything on the menu sounds delicious. I had one of the dip sandwiches with roasted beef and sauteed mushrooms. It came with Alfredo dipping sauce but I substituted the four cheese. I dipped my fries it it because the sandwich didn’t need it. It was all delicious. The bottom of my bread was a little soggy but still tasted good. My friend had a truffle ravioli, which she loved

Pretty good. Service was ok, but it was busy. Just means they work harder, smile longer. Cheese dip was the best I ate. I had a salad, the vinaigrette is stout so use it sparingly. I also had a cheese ravioli, good but not excellent. The atmosphere is the best thing this place has going for them in my opinion. Fun but pricey for lack of taste.

Other reviews prepared me to remain flexible… good thing! Tried to reseat us… three large gentlemen… at a Ladies Tea Table… took some maneuvering thru layers of T-shirted ‘management’ before they relented. Cheese Dip as advertised. Burger accoutrements tasty…175 degree half pound burger in the middle was like Enchanted Rock in Texas but without the pink… impervious to squishing into submission. Waitress peppy, or was it ‘pepped’? Art on walls of a «Why did I never get better after Sophomore Year?» aspect. No IPA on tap. Sounds more like Two Stars… but that Cheese Dip is REALLY good.

Unilocal helpers did not lie-this place was amazing! Get here early for a seat(it’s hopping thanks to live music). Laid back atmosphere-very friendly wait staff and host. The cheese dip was probably the best I’ve ever had. which is saying a lot bc I’m from Texas and I was raised on the stuff. The Reuben was excellent, and the wedding cake was delicious… no more waiting through a bunch of toast to get to the best part of most weddings. Go here!

If the same lady owns it, back when she was in Benton, she threw us out of her restaurant because we didn’t like our meal. Made this whole spectacle to publicly humiliate us on our way out the door. She insisted the crawfish étouffée was fresh. It wasn’t. I wouldn’t eat here if you lined my table with free 100 dollar bills. She treated people in Benton like garbage. Karma.

Very nice filet here. Recommend it medium rare. Has a nice garlic butter on top with a burgundy mushroom sauce on the side. Very glad it’s on the side as the steak is great without it. Swapped the potatoes out for the mixed veggies. Highly recommend the veggies. The veggies, however, are very good with the mushroom sauce. Throw in a sexy Syrah and you have quite a meal. I would have taken a photo but it was gone too quick. ;-) Bön appetit!

Eclectic and charming are two words to describe this place, not to mention our server/bartender was a fine looking fella. ;) The chandeliers were gorgeous! Definitely gave off that gypsy feel with it’s deep dark tones and the lighting. There were a few photo ops just inside the door in the bar area. The bar area itself was up and hopping in no time. So glad we arrived early! My 3 girlfriends and I found this place on Unilocal while in town for the Little Rock marathon weekend. We wanted to have some drinks early, dinner and appetizers while catching up. Perfect place! We arrived early in the evening and were able to sit right away. Our handsome server suggested a bottle rather than separate glasses which turned out to be a great plan. We ended up buying two bottles. The appetizers were yummy and allowed for us ladies to enjoy some delicious cuisine while enjoying our wine. The Nachos were phenomenal! We really didn’t need dinner, but we did all order. The food wad decent, but most impressionable was the atmosphere and charming service.

I have never walked out of a restaurant due to prices in my life… until today. $ 12.99 for a bowl of tomato soup. $ 8.99 for an order of fries. $ 10.00 for HALF of a salad. this is Little Rock not London, NYC or San Fran. Walk down the street a block for a plethora of good food, priced right.

I stumbled on this place while visiting downtown Little Rock visiting the various bars and restaurants on Markham Street. As I was leaving Markham street looking for a place to eat, I found this restaurant behind Markham on Commerce street. I must say that when I first arrived here and walking up to the front door, it gave me the New Orleans bayou restaurant feel. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and has an outside patio with long draped curtains and a nice comfortable sitting area. My complaints are purely based on service because the food was actually great. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the greeter/host doesn’t walk you to your seat. When I arrived the hostess just pointed me to my seat and said she would send the menus over. First strike. It took them quite a while to figure out who my waiter/waitress would be so in turn, it took quite a while for us to get our drinks and order. Second Strike. They have a full bar so how in the world did they not have my favorite drink Grand Marnier? Come on now lol. Third strike. As for the food, it was actually great. I had the Tuxedo which was a bowtie(farfelle) pasta dish with finely cut chicken breast seasoned well with alfredo sauce. The 4th strike came in because I specifically asked the waiter to hold the black olives. What did I see when my entrée was brought to my table? You guessed it, black olives. I also tried a California beer called Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I wasn’t too impressed because of its strong and long lasting after taste but I wont hold that against the restaurant itself. All in all, had the service been better I would have given this place 4-stars easily but because of the service I would say that it was just ok.
