The shrimp appetizer was delicious! I would highly recommend that to everyone who goes there. My entrée was the steak and crab cake with a side of garlic potatoes and crab rice. The steak was ordered medium rare and arrived very rare, as in I’m surprised it wasn’t cold rare. It tasted great, as did my crab cake and my potatoes. The crab rice«upgraded» side was less than stellar and I did not eat it. My wife enjoyed her imperial tilapia but she also ordered an upgraded side of asparagus and received 4 pieces of asparagus. 4. The real issue was the service. The waiter was very interested in telling us about how great his night was going and how all his tables were next to each other. Even with this incredible luck he couldn’t manage to remember to bring me my second glass of wine. I will go back sometime, but not anytime soon.

I always enjoy eating here it’s definitely the best seafood in little rock. I would start with the crab cakes for a app and move on to the fish or filet. Also they have great martini’s try the pomegranate with the frozen grapes. Enjoy !

Way off on lunch today. Tables all around us having food quality/service/availability problems. I hardly ever complain, but this was just too much. Blackened fish tacos for the wife and fish and chips for me were very sub-par. Meal comped. Table next to us ordered oysters on half shell and wanted crackers. Waiter said they were out. Grocery store 100 feet away. Go get the dude some saltines. Obviously very broken management. I’ve always enjoyed BFG, so this was very dissapointing.

One of our goto restaurants in Little Rock. Although they’re great, the Bang-Bang shrimp diverts attention from the real stars, the mussels Josephine which are some of the best mussels I’ve ever had. The appetizers, caesar salad, entrées and desserts are all outstanding. This is my second review on Unilocal. The first was a terrible experience at Del Frisco’s. The food and service was so bad we left and came straight to BoneFish, I knew we wouldn’t be dissapointed. Thanks for salvaging the evening!

I Always enjoy getting a Togo order from bonefish. But today I order lamp chops well done togo get home they were basically raw could not eat them. Makes me angry that I asked and paid for them to be well done and basically they cooked them how they wanted.

Ok… so my sweetie received an email from Bonefish advertising the $ 6 Bang-Bang Shrimp Wednesday special. Texted me immediately that we had to go last night after work before the offer expires. He had no idea that it’s been a regular Wednesday thing for years. We went back last night and was delighted that we had the same waitress(Erica M). She had advised that we should try dinner next time but make a reservation. VERYGOODADVICE for Bang-Bang Wednesdays. 5:45 reservation and we couldn’t find a parking space. It was packed but our table was ready. Of course we ordered Bang-Bang Shrimp again(x2), neither of us wanted to share an order this time. We also ordered Wagyu Beef & Ginger Potstickers. Absolutely fabulous. And with the dinner menus they bring hot bread with oil/pesto for dipping. We doubled that too. Erica remembered us and remembered my Hot Mint Tea. Again, she was delightful, service was great, food was delicious and we left with stomach aches(ate too much). Very different atmosphere from a weekend lunch visit. Much more festive and extremely crowded. We’ll be back next Wednesday(my sweetie already said so)

Okay. I don’t recommend eating here to foodies but for budgeteers, the food is decent. I won’t be returning. The flavor of the food is just okay. I went with a friend and our plates were dirty. The server wasn’t helpful and failed to go over the specials.

Good food, good service. It’s a little pricey for someone on a budget, but you won’t go away hungry. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos and the Sirloin and Crab Cake dinner. Tacos were great and come with a choice of sides — we had house chips. The sirloin was cooked perfectly — the crab cake was tasty but seemed to fall apart a little and was mushy. Was hoping it would have been a little more dense. All-in-all a wonderful meal. The restaurant is a little dark(with a dark ceiling) — but it was quiet and the service was good. Thanks BG!

The absolute worst dining and service experience we have ever endured. Hostesses were overtly gossiping terrible things about the servers. Bartender didn’t know what kind of vodka they serve(a basic question). Cocktail was over poured and too strong with a single piece of melted ice. Two parties near us walked out. We watched an elderly woman and her friends trying to have a nice birthday dinner, but were completely neglected by the server staff. We heard another two-top table ask the wait staff why service was so bad and random people kept asking them the same questions at their table. The response? A waiter said they were on, «tip share» and«nobody has to try hard.» We stuck it out because we were so hungry. Not even a busy night, but server still forgot a wine order, then forgot to place our appetizer order, so we never received it even though entrees took an hour and were cold, but vegetables were boiling hot. One item was dangerously uncooked. Inexperienced manager(said he had been there since June, but was sweating and couldn’t form words very well). As someone who is very good friends with numerous independent restauranteurs, thousands of service industry professionals, and culinary critics for over 30 years, I know when a dining experience is going wrong and exactly why it happens. Unfortunately, I do not see any way for improvement here due to what appears to be a complete lack of professional investment by the front of the house and contempt for me, the customer. Service begins in the heart, but this establishment has no heart. I’ll look at this restaurant’s City of Little Rock public gross tax receipts and I bet I see a sharp decline in sales and revenue. I will certainly never hire a server with this establishment on their resume. Note: The manager agreed that they screwed up all night with us and attempted to comp the meal and only charge for one glass of wine, but I insisted I pay the full amount. Why? Zeroing a guest ticket is never a way to repair a patron’s experience with a dining establishment. It’s the worst thing a manager can do. I wanted him to understand that money had nothing to do with ruining my evening. No amount of money was going to compensate for this terrible dining experience that was 100% preventable. All it needed was an actual manager and a service staff with heart. This is just my personal opinion.

Waitstaff typically spot-on awesome, management check in… Weirdly, their reception seems to be lacking most of the time; as if the clientele is an inconvenience & «crap — where can I put these people??» Everyone knows the Bang-Bang is amazing, but their lobster is great as well. Bar drinks are always spectacular — a treat.

My wife and I ate at Bonefish last night as part of a group celebrating a friend’s birthday. We had reservations for 6:30, party of eight. When we arrived, they asked us to wait in the bar area while they rearranged the tables. While waiting, I bought two martinis for my wife and a friend — $ 21 for two drinks. It was a Thursday night, and not at all crowded, but it took 45 minutes for the staff to prepare a table for us. Our group ordered several appetizers, which arrived in good time and were all very good. When it came time to order the main course, things turned comical. There was one child in our party, but her mother was told by the waiter that they had run out of everything on the kids’ menu, and he suggested several of the main dishes that she might like. I ordered Parmesan Encrusted Rainbow Trout, and the waiter told me they were out of that item. Then, I ordered the Ribeye Steak, and they were out of that, as well. He blamed their stock outages on the ice storm that happened eight days ago. Really? On my third attempt, Fish and Chips, i got lucky. Another friend at our table also ordered something they didn’t have, and had to settle for a second choice. After all was said and done, everyone liked their food. The bill was properly split three ways, but I was surprised at the cost. For three of us, it was $ 121. All-in-all, not a very satisfying experience.

We’ve been there 3 – 4 times and have always only sat at the bar and had the bar menu. Never have we been disappointed. Bang bang shrimp is a must, and also enjoy the crab cakes and crab bisque. My boyfriend loves the potstickers. Drinks are always good… Probably the best blue cheese dirty martini I’ve ever had. The white cranberry Cosmo was also something I’ll have again when I go back. Love the atmosphere as well as the food and drinks. Never disappointed.

Went here while out shopping on a Saturday afternoon. Quick service & the staff was very helpful. Husband had the Tacos & I had the Orange Roughy special. Then we both had the Chocolate Crème Brûlée. Should have shared one. This is bigger than a normal Crème Brûlée and extremely rich. But it was very good. Would definitely go back here.

We had a great meal. I love their potstickers appetizer. My Caesar salad was excellent. The Chilean Sea Bass was delicious! Corey the manager was very attentive, coming by our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. For dessert, both the Key Lime pie, and the Molten Chocolate were divine! Love this place!

The bang bang shrimp is a life changing experience. The wait staff is always very charming, knowledgable, and helpful. The drinks are divine and the food is really fresh tasting and good! The reason I rate this restaurant three stars is because while the food and service is great, the price tag is excessive. Also, there are many fantastic local restaurants that offer better versions of almost every menu item. Big Orange Burger offers superior burgers at a lower cost, Capers provides top notch seafood for a similar cost, and drinks and apps at Ciao Baci far surpass Bonefish’s. In short, I don’t recognize the niche Bonefish fills for Little Rock, and I never leave feeling the meal was a good value for the money.

Outstanding food. Horrible service. They once advertised Swordfish on the radio, which I love, when I asked where it was on the menu they didn’t have it. Last 3 times I have gone they have been out of my first selected beer choice. Our waiter yesterday 8÷17÷14 acted as if we were deadbeats. Served tables that sat after us first and noticeable overlooked us. Salad came before our water even made it and our orders were not right. If you enjoy service this restaurant gets an F. However if you enjoy fish it’s spot on.

So I love this restaurant and have gone to it since I was young, but tonight I decided to take my spouse who had never been before. We are a young couple with a baby and didn’t dress up, so most servers would stereotype us, but we have both been servers and tip well unless we get terrible service. Which is what we got tonight. She seemed over-the-top friendly. She didn’t bring bread which comes with the meal and asked us if we wanted it, then forgot until my spouse reminded her when our meal came. Didn’t refill my water until then either, it had been sitting empty a good 10 minutes and not seen her once. The food was fabulous as always. She then shouted to her friends to wait for her then went out to smoke. She came back smelling terribly of smoke and that was just the cherry on top.

I came here on July 5, 2013 to celebrate the husband’s birthday. We were a group of four and arrived around 9pm. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and ceviche as appetizers, both were excellent and a large enough portion for the 4 of us to share. As entrees we ordered two different kinds of fish with the chimmichuri sauce, the tilapia stuffed with crab and the fish and chips. Everyone’s fish was delicious and the sides that came with them were great too — can’t remember what all they were, but the mashed potatoes stood out in particular. At one point I asked for extra sauce and the chef had gone home for the night(since we had arrived close to closing) and the waitress said that the manager had started making a fresh batch for me! I told her that wasn’t necessary, but I felt that was a step above for the manager to offer to do that, rather than just saying the kitchen was closed. The only con I can think of is that they had said they would give us a free dessert for the occasion but forgot… we probably should have passed on it anyway considering how stuffed we were though! I definitely recommend this location to any seafood lovers out there.
