I was just happily eating my seafood bake at the bar when suddenly I’m chewing something that isn’t food. I pull it out of my mouth, and unravel it. ‘Please, Lord, please don’t let this be a condom!’, I prayed silently. It wasn’t. It was a wad of plastic wrap, cooked in my food, and then in my mouth. I took a picture of this right in front of the manager, who still made me pay for my beer before I left! But let’s start at the beginning, shall we? When I pulled up and parked across from the Red Lobster entrance, I couldn’t help but notice the Little Rock PD patrol car parked under the restaurant’s awning. I didn’t see the cop until after I went inside — he was standing with his arms crossed in the corner of the entryway. I’m not sure why a Red Lobster would need to have a cop on guard — especially on a Tuesday night — but now that I think back on this I suppose that should have been an obvious«red flag» to go eat elsewhere. I made my way into the bar area with the intention of eating there since I came in alone. About 80% of the barstools were vacant, but 100% of those had food and drinks left in front of them still waiting to be bussed. I walked up and stood behind a barstool while the bartender was talking to what turned out to be the manager. Their conversation went on for nearly five full minutes with me standing there, neither one ever addressing the fact I was obviously stationed in front of them waiting for something before they both walked off out of sight. Nevertheless, I just remained standing there, unwilling to sit down with the bar trashed in front of me. As I was there waiting for someone to appear and buss the bar, the host(with the funkiest looking hair shaped like a skyscraper on top of his head) walks up. I look over and ask, «Are the raw oysters on the half-shell any good here?» «Sometimes…» The host with the fab-do replied. «Depends who’s cookin’em.»
I obviously wouldn’t be ordering the raw oysters. A few minutes later, the bartender reappears, but he didn’t immediately pay attention to the fact that I was still standing there. Instead, he starts counting money in his register. Once he was done with that task, he turns around, and finally seeing I was just standing there, asks if I needed anything. At this point, I had been standing there for more than 10 minutes, but really, I wasn’t upset over that fact or anything. I asked him very nicely, «If it’s not too much trouble, I’d like to sit at the bar and order food, if there’s any way you could clear some space for me.» He did, and I sat down. After ordering my beer and food, I expected that my dinner would commence smoothly. That is, until I was more than halfway into eating my meal and discovered the chunk of cooked, wadded-up plastic wrap in my mouth.

Worst red lobster in little rock. Told us the wait was going to be 15 minutes, we did not get seated till almost an hour. The food wasn’t very good to top it off. Will not be going back.

Red Lobster is one of my guilty pleasures, although I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe it’s the cheesy biscuits, who knows. This location was fairly busy at 5:00pm on a Friday. Perhaps because it’s just down the road from a nursing home? It took about 10 minutes after being seated for someone to take our drink order. Sigh. When we finally got a waitress, she wasn’t very friendly and barely spoke to us during our interactions. At one point we saw her outside at her car. Clearly waiting tables was the least of her concerns. I got the«Shrimp Your Way» with coconut bites, signature scampi, and fried shrimp. For my salad I picked Caesar, as well as french fries for my side dish. The salad had nice big pieces of shaved parmesan, but they lacked that characteristic parmesan bite. It was mostly just junk lettuce and stems. I just picked at it and ate more cheesy biscuits instead. Whenever I get fried shrimp at Red Lobster, I always have to ask for tartar sauce. Who eats fried shrimp with cocktail sauce anyway? The shrimp were about as good as you’d expect for pre-frozen, not that I expected anything different from Red Lobster. The scampi probably had the most flavor. I think I’ll just save my Red Lobster outings for when it’s time for All You Can Eat Shrimp and take it out of my regular restaurant rotation.

I guess the question I have after eating here is: «how do they stay in business?» This place is awful, just terrible. The people were nice and the service was fine but the food is fast food quality at best. Tough lobster, tiny dry shrimp, too much salt on some things and no seasoning at all on others. This mediocre food is then delivered to your table at room temperature. I feel like the kid who gets taken for $ 20 at the carnival because these people lured me in with the bright shiny pictures on the menu and then brought me microwaved crap. Ok I’m done ranting — hopefully they will put this place out of its misery soon.

I come here only for the crab legs. Red Lobster consistently steams their crab legs perfectly. I think it may have something to do with the volume of crab legs that they make and the fact that when you make that much, you sort of get it down to an art. And it’s not all that expensive. I have been to fine dining places and have paid a hefty sum only to get crab legs that were overcooked and that just ticks me off for some reason.

We went to Red Lobster 1÷5÷2015 There were a few people waiting to be seated, so we gave our name and got a buzzer. We stood less than 10 steps from the podium where they either paged your buzzer and called your name. There were more than one person taking names and more than one person calling people back. We were there for about 15min waiting, and during that time there were several people that checked in after us that were called back before we were. We finally got tired of seeing other people go back, so we turned in the buzzer. The very unfriendly little girl that had been calling everyone back, very hatefully said«I buzzed you!» And we told her that it didn’t go off. She tried to buzz it again and it didn’t work for her, so she pretended that she didn’t do it the first time and tried it once more and when it lit up and buzzed she looked at us like«duh» and I said again«It didn’t go off». My boyfriend asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized and seated us in a booth. We told her that the person who had been calling people back had also paged some others who’s buzzer didn’t go off and she had not been calling everyone by name so that in case the buzzer didn’t work you would at least hear your name, but she hadn’t been doing that. The manager said she would take care of us and she offered us a complimentary appetizer. We then got a waiter. He took our order(2lbs of crab legs each, baked potato, and broccoli. We sat and waited on the appetizer for about 10 min and then we asked for silverware and he said he was going to get it and 10min later we asked someone else. The bread finally arrived after the appetizer and it was over an hour later when we got the crab legs. They were so over-cooked that there were blackened burned spots on them, and they were brittle and the meat inside was stuck to the shell. It was either non existent or like seafood jerky. Some of it was edible. At the end of the meal we saved some to show our waiter and the manager. They both were sorry and said that they had been through two chefs just recently and that they were going to bring it up in a managers meeting. After the worst experience of Red Lobster ever, the manager gave us our entire meal for free. We tipped our waiter and left. The manager was very nice and so was the waiter. The kitchen needs work and the attitudes of the people that seat you.

Slow, poor quality of food even for a chain seafood place. The place always seems so dirty and the staff can be rude at times.

For dome reason I do like Red lobster every once in awhile. I had not been in awhile but my dad loves the stuffed cod. They have done a lot of remodeling and I think it looks better not as dark. My son got some dirt if blacken fish and really liked it. My husband and sister got the sailors platter. I like the sailors platter alright but the fish they put on it has no taste and so bland so I usally skip that. I got a combo appetizer plate and it was pretty good. Our service was excellent. We go for lunch it’s a great deal you get salad and your lunch that is very nice portions and the cheese biscuits are the bomb, they ate worth the price of addition by themselves

It’s a chain! Nothing special about it. Service is spotty and you can get better fresher seafood at many other places! Seriously if you go somewhere for cheese biscuits that were frozen how good can it be?

This is good seafood for Arkansas. I’m not much of a salad eater but the cheese biscuits that come to your table are excellent with their salad. I normally eat the ultimate feast. It’s one on the more expensive items but I can’t resist shrimp scampy, fried shrimp, crab legs and lobster tail on the same plate. Yummy! I would give it a 5 if it cost a little less.

In all the years I have dined at Red Lobster, this last visit is the worst! I asked for my steak to prepared medium well and was given a bloody steak, instead.

The only seafood I eat from here is their Crab cakes. They are wonderful! Besides them I absolutely love their cheese biscuits! Give me a plate of those and their mashed potatoes and that would be my entrée!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a Red Lobster but in honor of my newlywed son and his wife, we made a trip here last night. I have mixed emotions about Red Lobster after reading about the high sodium levels their menu contains. Well, didn’t take a sodium meter with me last night but I CAN tell you I didn’t use the salt shaker once!!! Most of our party had similar dished from the Shrimp Festival. I had two Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Scampi while others had the Tacos and Cajun BBQ’d shrimp Well, they gave me a cheese-covered Stuffed Shrimp instead of the Scampi, much to my chagrin. And it was salty! The tacos were tasty. The side of slaw was okay. Most of us finished their shrimp up but took to drinking water and tea throughout the meal. I am impressed that Red Lobster has done away with a lot of their fried foods and have moved towards steamed and gilled dished… just work on the sodium!

For a quick lunch ask for Barron. Red Lobster was once the pinical of fine dinning for me as a child. Little Rock RL quickly returned me to my childhood with a great meal, and great service.

I was not really that impressed with the place. The restaurant itself seemed like it needed a good scrub through, carpets were jaded and dirty and the not once did I see the staff clean the floors, there were bits of food all over. There was dust and grime in the window that I sat by. The food was not exceptional but not bad either, started off with a salad which was done okay, a little heavy on the dressing but seemed fresh. The Walts shrimp and coconut shrimp were well made and did not have extra grease on them even though they were fried. The waiter was attentive but sadly could not make up for the jaded, dark, old and lack luster ambience throughout.

Very good lunch menu. Good service most of the time. Typical Red lobster smelly front entrance. Will pass this place up if you are not looking hard. Food was always good here, but the drinks are following the«more ice than liquor» path as most restaurants are doing these days.

I always love red lobster! Everytime my family go, we always enjoyed good food at this location. The service sometime can be slow and need little improvement, but that won’t stop me from coming back. Will definitely return!
