Ordered the number two. It was suppose to be shrimp for 1.00 extra. The shrimp were almost absent and it had a few pieces of chicken. For 25.00. I could have had a really nice meal for that price. Very disappointed i would not recommend this place at all

It pains me to give any restaurant such a low rating. But in this case I have too. I visited on 1−21−16. I ordered the Pad Thai w/chicken. First the good, deceit amount of food at a good price. Now for the bad. The noodles had the oddest taste to them. At first I thought it was the cilantro they’d sprinkled on top of the noodles. They tasted like the lighter fluid used for charcoal. So did what little pieces of chicken(There must be a chicken shortage at this place) that came with this dish. I was only able to eat two or three bites of this dish before throwing it out. The lady working the register definitely needs to learn more about proper customer service.

Bangkok Thai Cuisine is your typical food court dining establishment. I came here for lunch one day, and I do have to say that their green curry dish is delicious. However, their proportion of meat and veggies is quite unbalanced, so don’t expect a lot of meat if you order the selection of chicken. Overall, the service here was quite quick, and the cashier was friendly. They have a section on the side where you can add more nuts and sauces. A-OK.

Tried the yellow curry with fresh tofu and potato and my wife had chicken pad Thai. Because they were cooking to order it took a good 20 minutes to get food. The cook said 10′ when the dish was ordered, but I had already waited 5 while the were cooking the order before me. I was very pleased with the food after the wait. Because it was cooked to order I had to wait an additional couple of minutes so as not to burn my mouth. Bottom line the cook took my order and went back to make it before taking the next order. This was a Saturday so maybe they were understaffed. Tofu was fresh, curry was mild spicy, dish was cooked at order and I wasn’t in a hurry so I say«score» on this place.

Mediocre Thai. Green curry chicken … the chicken is tough, the rice is off, the guy at the counter wasn’t friendly and he didn’t ask how spicy to make the curry(it’s so hot I can hardly eat it). And my dining partner says the lemongrass soup is just okay. Eating out of Styrofoam is definitely not sexy.

Pad Thai noodles were good. We ate one there and to-go another one to our hotel. The mango smoothie was the best in the hot day. I just had 3 of them. Yoki made the excellent smoothies and friendly service.

Just had lunch here at the Riverfront Market. This should be a pleasant and quick experience… not a place I would normally Unilocal about… Two Asian ladies run this little restaurant and they don’t seem all too happy to be there. I wasn’t the only one to feel their«vibe». But poor service aside, it is after all about the food, I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered spicy tofu w veggies and steamed rice. Fresh, good texture and well spiced. The cucumbers were crisp and cilantro and lime blended well… not overwhelming. I also had the«fresh spring rolls», not the fried ones. They were ok… the peanut dipping sauce looked like something you would get out of a jar sitting too long on a back shelf :( In short, descent food(can be healthy if you choose correctly) and service…

Bangkok Thai Cuisine is located in the Market Hall of the Rivermarket. As I work downtown, I tend to pick up meals from the Rivermarket often. Although I typically stick with sandwiches from Boulevard Bread, Mediterranean food from Middle Eastern Cuisine, or nachos from Casa Mañana Taqueria — I instead decided to try the chicken pad thai at Bangkok Thai. Now, when done right, I LOVE chicken pad thai. Unfortunately, I did not love the pad thai here. It had absolutely no flavor! It was mainly noodles, with a few pieces of chicken and bamboo shoots… and that’s about it. The peanuts were left off my meal(only found when I got back to work), so that was also disappointing. So bland!
