Good Service & Nice dark ambience, Very Cool drinks that were a cut above. Decent prices for these concoctions. I recommend highly.

Awesome bar. The atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are great. You feel like you are in a speakeasy bar in the 1920s. I highly recommend this place. Best bar downtown.

Very classy and overpriced bar. Great comfort level inside wait staff and bartenders are great some of the finest mixed drinks in town or In arkansas as a whole

Stopped in here for a quick cocktail. The bartender was very knowledgeable about his trade and was able to recommend drinks based on our tastes. I had the vodka and elderflower cocktail which was very tasty and easy to drink. The ambiance is dark and lounge-y. The server was super nice as well. Would stop in here again for a drink.

So I’m a pretty simple guy. A good beer, glass of wine or some basic liquor will make me happy. I walk into this place largely because of the ratings and want to try something with CrownApple since I am a huge crown fan. After I was told by who I guess is a Jr. Bartender that the«bartender» would be with me shortly the Bartender showed up and had to check in the back to see if they had CrownApple. After he came back and told me they didn’t I was okay because hey, it’s a little unusual. So I asked for a simple Crown with a splash of water. I was again informed that he needed to check in the back and was told they didn’t have any crown. At this point I was okay, there must be a lot of folks who drink Crown in this town. So I didn’t get too upset. So finally I asked for a Knob Creek and water to which I got the same response of «let me check in the back» with an eventual no, we don’t have it. I’m definitely not a bar snob but I expect a place that is touted as being a mixologist haven to have the basics of the craft. Needless to say I won’t be ordering a drink k here again.

We stopped here passing through Arkansas based on other Unilocal reviews and were not disappointed! I ordered the Mariposa and hubby ordered the smokey. Together we ordered the sopresatta and aged Gouda charcuterie board. Let me tell you, the Mariposa is heavenly and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his flight. I was even able to detect hints of ingredients just by smell without tasting on his flight. Our charcuterie was out of this world! My husband doesn’t usually like mustard but loved the selection we chose. The staff was amazing and the ambience was stellar, my husband especially liked how the smell of cigars still lingers. Can’t wait till we come back!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Exquisite cocktails crafted by the very talented, and creative owner — Michael. The Cardinal is a must try, as well as the Scotch flights. One of the best cocktail bars in town.

Very cool place that I found when on travel to Little Rock. This was an unexpected find and turned out to be the highlight of my trip. I tried three different Whiskey /Rye drinks — all were unique and excellent. Michael knows his stuff. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink(or three).

I think I’m in love. Delicious, interesting cocktails. Inviting, relaxed, and tasteful atmosphere. Doesn’t smell like grease, meat, or pizza. A refreshing change for our fair city. 109, will you be mine?

So I walked in here after dinner on a Thursday night, and right off of coming in the door I felt Humphrey Bogart’s ghost drape an arm over my shoulder and whisper in my ear«This is my kind of joint.» Two things: you’ll notice immediately that it smells of cigar smoke. Good cigars, old, well-loved cigars, but it’s not subtle, it’ll hit you right away. And, it’s dark. Really dark — the furniture and walls are all black or very dark brown, particularly at night, it can be hard to see across the place. But! Settle into one of the positively luxurious lounge chairs in the middle of the bar, gather some good friends around you, and order something from the — lengthy — cocktail menu. Leather seats, care-erasing comfort, and a truly cozy atmosphere perfectly compliment an establishment where you’re meant to sit and nurse a few drinks for a good long time. The cocktails themselves are organized by base liquor(Whiskey, Gin, Vodka, Rum, etc.) and each and every one of them is unpredictable, complex, exciting, and well worth a try. Someone(the owner himself, I hear!) put a lot of love and attention into the recipe for every single drink, and it really shows. Try the barrel-aged drinks! Also, since this is an establishment meant for small/medium groups to enjoy together, there is a small but carefully-selected beer and wine list at the back of the menu. This is a really nice touch because it means you’re not cutting out friends just because they only like drinks with one ingredient. It evens out the menu prices well too. There were four of us when I went in, and our drinks were excellent, our service was attentive, and the lounge was wonderful! However… I have to give it four stars, simply because it’s just not everyone’s cup of tea. If you like dark, comfortable spaces, the smell of cigars and wildly creative cocktails — this is absolutely your place! If you really don’t like any of those things, well, it’s probably not. For me, it was just a little bit too dark, a little too smoky, and a little too specialized. Still, it’s the kind of place you have to at least walk into, just for the experience. Who knows? You might love it! *UPDATE*– Came in another night, and maybe I’m imagining things, but it seems as if they’ve added a little light and dropped down the cigar smell since I’d been in last. What I wasn’t imagining in the least was just how much *fun* I had here. Again! Two really great nights with completely different groups is cause for a star-bump! Five stars!

Wow, what attention to detail the manager/owner has! Everything about this place seemed perfect as far as what you would want out of a cocktail lounge. The cocktails are actually impressive and they have a good selection of choice beers that are not so common. This is an introverts dream lounge and you could not pick a better place to take a date. I admit that I can be somewhat picky and critical, but I can find no flaw with this place so far. It seems way out of step with what I typically expect from Little Rock; this place is the sort you would expect from a city like Baltimore or St. Louis. How great it is to finally get a place like this here in Little Rock… finally!

I am biased, since I am a big fan(and friend) of owner, Michael Peace. But, as a mixologist and connoisseur of finely crafted cocktails — this is the place! 109& Company offers a wide range of well crafted whiskey, gin, tequila and rum cocktails(not the typical Kool-aid mix and vodka crap you find at so many establishments). By the way, the bar also has a strong selection of wines and beers for those winos and hop addicts. I have perused many of the cocktails on the 109 menu and some of my favorites are the 43 Decatur, The Adventures of a Traveler, Cardinal and El Dueño. Be sure and sample one of the bar’s barrel aged cocktails… concoctions that have been aged and matured as a cocktail. The entire list of these aged cocktails is worth a try. 109& Co also has some nice little nibbles to enjoy also. These(and a cocktail or three) would be perfect as a light appetizer/primer prior to enjoying dinner at a restaurant nearby. Outside of the Capitol Bar.(Which can get over crowded with the business inside the hotel itself), and for those of us not going to a restaurant, 109& Company fills a needed niche, here in the heart of downtown Little Rock — especially for the cocktail hounds like me!

What a great place! 109& Co cannot be beat for service, décor, and a unique getaway in a great downtown location. Who doesn’t love a discreet hideaway in an Old Tyme Speak Easy that has the best mixologists who don’t only serve great aged and flavored classic drinks, but also can make a unique custom drink to please your palate. Looking forward to my next visit!

I appreciate the atmosphere and attention given to cocktails. Great for dates. I love taking my fiancée here for a nightcap. Michael and his staff are going the extra mile to bring a cocktail bar to the city of Little Rock, and they deliver.

We love this oasis of wonderfully balanced cocktails in Little Rock! They’ve got something for everyone. The atmosphere is upscale and warm, without being stuffy. Their bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. We’re so excited to have a true cocktail lounge in downtown, we’ll be back!

You know how people say they,“found this great new place”? Well, this great new place found me. I was contacted by this very enthusiastic guy to start playing jazz at this beautiful new speakeasy. From the first moment I stepped in the front door to check the place out, I knew something was right. We were greeted and offered a tour. They have an extensive drink menu. We tried a couple delicious cocktails. I recommend trying their signature«43 Decatur». It has a smoky sweet complex depth to it. My friend thought it would even be good over pancakes. That means a lot being that he really likes pancakes. Anyhow, you shouldn’t take my word for it. Come try 109& Co. for yourself and make your own mind up. They also have delicious Brats with house made pickles. Yum! I haven’t tried their desserts yet, but I plan to soon. Also, check out the live music on some Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s really great to have such a high scale establishment right down the street at 109 Main.

There is no place like this in Little Rock and I am very happy it is here. The décor is terrific. There is a very slight cigar smell from Maduro and it is perfect. It is sweet and aromatic and adds to the overall ambiance. It just feels«cool» The drinks are incredible. They are not your syrupy sweet crap or cheap liquors you get in most restaurants. They are complex, they are bitter, they are delicious. I tried four different drinks and even the one I didn’t care for was still very good. These are good riffs on traditional cocktails. If you just want drinks that taste like everything else out there then you can go anywhere else and get it. Syrupy sweet premade mix and nothing fresh or different abounds. However if you want something that’s complex, wonderful, and nuanced you can do no better than 109 and Co. Highly recommended.
