Being Greek, I have found it difficult to find a decent Greek restaurant with a lot of variety and choices at decent prices without going to Astoria. Stamna not only has a huge menu but hey give good portions at decent prices. The food is phenomenal. Can’t say enough good things. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

This place is authentic Greek, not Americanized like so many others. Their service is the best as well. Stop by! You won’t be disappointed. I lived in Greece for 3 years, so I know real Greek food!

What wonderful food and attentive service. I was in the mood for Greek food and didn’t want to eat at some chain restaurant. I drove by here last week and figured I would give it a shot. Best decision I made this week! Food was delicious, the staff was on point, accommodating and so nice to our children. Will definitely come back again.

I’m actually upset that I even have to give this place a 1 star. For starters, this isn’t based on their food because I didn’t even get to TRY it. But quite honestly, I don’t even care to after the way I was treated by one of their employees today. I ordered a Greek salad to pick up. The man on the phone was super RUDE, no manners what’s so ever, and honestly, it sounded like he was talking with a mouthful of something, and spoke extremely low. I had to repeat myself a few times. I got there, and paid for my salad, then walked out. I was on my lunch hour so I decided to sit in my car and eat, and when I open my «salad», it had NO lettuce. It was just blocks of cheese with cucumbers and I don’t even know what else. But I was so pissed I just put it back in the bag and went back to the restaurant… Remember now, I’m wasting time driving because I don’t work all that close… I drove there because of the«good» reviews. When I explained to the gentleman my issue, and asked for a refund being that the damn salad was 12 dollars and I was over the disgusting customer service and just wanted a burger… He refused to give me a refund. This man was so nasty and rude, he didn’t apologize, he straight up told me no. And continued on to tell me he traveled thousands of miles from his country to get paid 2 dollars an hour??? What? I guess this was his way of saying«I don’t get paid enough to deal with this shit». Lol ok. Not my problem bro. In the states, great customer service is what keeps your business going. He told me it was physically impossible for him to return my money. I explained to him I was on lunch and just really wanted to get something to eat because that’s not what I ordered. EVERYGREEKRESTAURANT, GREEKSALADSCOMEWITHLETTUCE. He argued with me that I was wrong. I explained to one of the guys that cooked what was going on, he told me there wasn’t a manager around and that this guy was new. He understood me and I guess empathized and was trying to give me the money out HISPOCKET. I felt so bad and was like absolutely not, this isn’t your responsibility. Long story short, I literally had to call the cops to come and help me get my money back. And they did. And that same man had to give it to me back. Apparently he called the managers son and got approval to do so. Yeah right, you know you were just being a pain in the ass. What a joke. Never returning to that place. To the owners of this place — Your business can lose its reputation if you aren’t careful with that asshole that’s working for you there.

Best Greek food I’ve had in a while. Get the grilled calamari and the lamb gyro. Plus there’s parking on the back and the people are super friendly. I’ll be going back.

Delicious authentic Greek food. Have had dinner inside, take out and most recently delivery. Delivery was super fast via GrubHub way before the expected quotes time. The gyro platter was plentiful and delicious as always. Enough left over for lunch the next day. My super finicky sister tried a shrimp dish in a tomato sauce with feta –superb flavor! We both loves it The lemon potatoes were very good. We both had Greek salads, I just wished there was a bit more lettuce and the tomatoes cut smaller. Still very tasty.

Authentic Greek food. Wonderful BYOB. Reasonable prices nice décor, very clean. Extensive Greek menu, but an absolute must for Gyro lovers.. If you have questions the native Greek waitstaff is more than happy to help make menu recommendations. Eating outside on the front porch, which is well insulated and makes you feel as if your dining«outdoors» winter or summer. Intentional design of soothing blue and white decour, like dining on the Mediterranean.

This place is one of the few restaurants that deliver to me so we order from here once in a while. The food is solid but nothing to go crazy about. I have had the chicken souvlaki, lemon soup, hummas and the Stamna Thalassina seafood platter. The seafood is very fresh so I would recommend it and their Greek fries are good as well. I really do not like their hummas. It has more of lemon taste. Overall they have good service and fast delivery with decent food.

This joint is pretty stellar not just for a Greek restaurant, but in general for the 7424 area. You go in, and it feels like someone’s home(because the outside and inside looks like a house, and it’s attached to Rita’s Ice in the same house lol). The staff is pretty polite and courteous, and very attentive. They made great recommendations for me when I was ordering for the first time. Their food is very genuine and true to Greek cuisine, but still palatable & delicate enough for the uncultured or unseasoned American palate! Try the Greek burger. Trust me, it’s lit. Try them if you’re ever in Little Falls. They’ve got a private parking lot in the back, so that’s a major plus.

Mmmm… Greek food. This place is super family friendly and able to seat pretty large groups. Because it’s not exactly a building, but in the first floor of what looks like it used to be a house converted to a restaurant, ice cream parlor next door(sadly, seasonal), and a practicing law firm above, there’s a lot of room. The porch has been converted to a seating area, which is where we sat. We ordered the Greek burger(no buns!) and Greek fries(yay for cheese), taramasalata, and a chicken gyro platter(which comes with a Greek salad, pita bread, and a choice of a carb like rice, lemon potato, or fries). Each plate was everything big, everything Greek(if anyone gets that reference). Super large plate, a heapful of meat and even taramasalata. I felt like the chicken lacked a bit of flavor, but the tzatziki seriously was delicious(dill and cucumber with yogurt sauce is so refreshing). Stamna Taverna was a great experience — plus the décor is beautiful! The tables are covered with a map of Greece and everything is white and mediterranean blue.

The service is friendly and casual. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. I had the lamb kebab, which was very good, served with onion, pepper and orzo. Side dish of the«greek fries» which is thin sliced potato served in parm cheese and oregano. This continues to be my local choice for greek food.

The food is very good, the flavors are always delicious however both the customer service and quality of protein can vary from meal to meal. We have been«trying» to order take out from Stamna, Little Falls for a year now and it appears that they only deliver when is convenient for them. We are listed in their system(because they have delivered to us before, approximately 5 – 6 times) and now they are back to their old tricks of the delivery guy not wanting to drive too far. If it hasn’t been an issue in a past, why tonight? Or other nights when we have tried, they lack consistency and professionalism in this regard. I don’t know how they cannot know and stick to their own delivery circumference. Then there is the protein of the dish. Whether we eat there or at home the quality of meat seems to change drastically from a delicious, well cooked and well spiced chicken to something comparable to rubber and completely lacking flavor. They’re not the most personable when you dine-in either. All this being said if they will deliver to you, or if you go there on the«right night» you’ll have a good meal, hands down. If not, better be prepare to order or stop for a slice of pizza on the way home. Overall; food gets 3 – 4, stars, even 5 on a good night! Customer service and professionalism, awful, 0 – 1 stars.

Friendly staff and quick service. I ordered the classical Gyro platter, lamb flavor with Greek fries. First the waiter served a starter of a nice opener of toasted sliced bread, lightly touched with some olive oil and a sprinkle of herbs. This came with a side of olives, very delicious… Nice and light, opens up the appetite and leaves no need for you to order an appetizer. A few minutes after, came a nice nice gyro platter dish with a bed of toasted pita, a cup it tzatziki sauce, prepared perfectly, not so much garlic but nicely flavored. On the same plate there was fresh salad and side of Greek potatoes(looked like sliced potato fries) which are prepared with some herbs and topped with grated cheese. Super delicious dish, could almost be for two persons but I was starving so I cranked it out. The outdoor seating which is enclosed is very nice with Greek music(perfect loudness), the AC was running and the temperature was very comfortable. Highly recommended overall. 5 stars for sure.

Opaaa for your mouth! Stamna is Greek food done right. Located in an unassuming white house in Little Falls, Stamna truly feels like you are dining with family. The restaurant is small, but has plenty of seating. However, keep in mind that you may be rubbing elbows with the couple next to you. The store is decorated with Greek flags and pictures of Greece; it’s quaint. There also a really nice outdoor seating area that is open year round(in winter months it’s tented). The restaurant has a cozy feel to it, and feels like home. The staff is really kind and willing to answer questions about menu items(despite my poor pronunciation). The service was quick and very friendly. The food is AMAZING! The authenticity of Stamna’s food can’t be matched. From the Kalamata olives, to the tzatziki, to the lamb, it truly feels like you are dining in Athens. I started the meal with tirokafteri, a spicy feta cheese and olive oil combination. The spread, which was served with freshly baked pita, was smooth and creamy, and had a fiery finish. Next I ordered the lamb gyro and the tyropitakia. The lamb gyro was out of this world and a must order! The meat was juicy and succulent. The tzatziki sauce that was in the gyro enhanced the sandwich’s flavor profile. Hands down this was the best gyro that I have ever eaten. The tirokafteri, a filo dough, cheese and spinach pie, was very good. The filo dough was nice and crisp; it gave the pie a great texture. The cheese and spinach combination balanced one another brilliantly. Stamna’s is a sure bet especially if you are looking for a great place to eat in Little Falls. Stamna has great service, amazing food, gigantic portions and reasonable prices. I am a fan and will be back for more!

This place is consistently EH… I LITERALLYLIVE8 – 10HOUSESBEHINDTHISPLACE. Just wanted to state that fact in order to justify why I’ve probably been here like 30 times since its conception. Mostly in the Summer. I feel like i’m insane because even though I come back from this place saying to myself, «Wow that was just OK» I always end up visiting again for more feta cheese covered pricey dishes. The main things I’ve gathered from coming here are that the dishes served are pretty mediocre. They serve food that you must be in the mood for. I don’t want to bash the place because some items, fish dishes mostly, are pretty good. I just do not believe that a piece of chicken with crumbled feta, a slice of tomato, and olive is worth 17 dollars! I just don’t think the place lives up to the hype and other outstanding reviews. Recommended: Fish dishes Recommended Take-out: All Gyros
