Healthy food, generous portions, friendly service. and very clean. I highly recommend the spinach chicken pie served as a lunch special. I’ve been to a few Greek to Me locations in northern NJ and this one seems to be the best.

I was very disappointed in the service here, the waiter never came back after leaving our plates, I needed napkins and not one person came to me and see what I wanted. The food was okay, I love there beans. Just the service sucks!

The worst souvlaki gyro I ever had. It was more like a soft taco than a gyro. They do not cut their chicken or tomatoes. My gyro had huge cubes of chicken and tomato wedges and a dollop of tzatziki sauce… This is faux Greek cuisine

I love this place! Great food and friendly workers! I will continue to eat here as often as I can afford it as some items are a little pricey!

Drove all the way out to New Jersey to see my pregnant girlfriend, taking her out to dinner she chose this place based on location and convenience. A menu full of options from meat to seafood, I chose the salmon dish. Service was friendly but there was a hick up with my order and the wrong thing was brought. While I waited for the order to be re-done I wished this place had wine/alcohol but canned soda worked for now. The pita bread brought out with the dip was pretty good AFTER we requested fresh pita that is. Overall the food was OK, nothing to rave about.

Great BYOB place with a wine store in the mall if you forget! Traditional Greek flair with delicious Spanikopita, warm pita bread and one of the best Greek salads! Get some appetizers and share it with the crew or opt for an entrée, you will not be disappointed!

Good staff and timely service. We went on a Sunday night dinner, it was empty though. Place has decent ambience and is in the middle of the promenade so many different shops outside, like a mall strip– Factory outlet style. We ordered vegetarian Eggplant dish, it was tasty and good quantity. Plus an order of Greek salad small, which was good as well. My only complaint — wish the menu items were priced bit lesser. I just felt I’m inside an Olive Garden or another well run chain. It wasn’t a high end restaurant for which I’m willing to shell some money.

Very mediocre gyro sandwich. Nice portion of gyro meat, but pretty bland tasting. Tzatziki sauce was pretty tasteless, but there was a nice garnish of tomatoes and onions. Nothing wrong with the sandwich, there are just better Greek options in the area. Also, $ 9.50 is too much to pay for a gyro sandwich that doesn’t come with fries or anything!

Always good food. A little pricey, but you’ll definitely have leftovers. Packed house on a Saturday, but not too bad of a wait. The owner is very friendly and even took our order so we didn’t have to wait.(There were a couple of large groups.) All the wait staff helped each other out. Three different servers refilled my drink. Always a pleasant atmosphere!

We had a really enjoyable lunch here. I have a delicious vegetable souvlaki and spouse had salmon with rice and salad. Both very good. Nice staff.

I was out shopping with a few friends and we decided to stop for a bite to eat. The place is in the middle of a strip mall(a nightmare of a strip mall) and it’s also part of a chain, so I was not expecting miracles. I got a salad with grilled calamari. The calamari was a bit tough, but overall, I liked it. My girlfriend had a steak salad which she said sounded better than it tasted. The best part of the meal was the Greek fries with lemon. They were amazing!

The gyro is good but the flavor changes depending on the day. Sometimes there is a lot of fat and oil others there isnt. I don’t understand the inconsistency. The tziki sauce is very good with lots of garlic. They have decent customer service too. Will go back but hate the various flavors and fat that comes with the gyro.

If you want super fresh salmon, this is the place to get it. I always come here on my day off to get the Excellent Grilled Salmon Lunch Special with rice and a side Greek salad $ 12.95. A warm piece of delicious grilled pita bread accompanies it. The service is very good and efficient. The owner is always around to make sure everything is taken care of. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. If you want to BYOB, it’s definitely acceptable :) The restaurant is conveniently right off Rt. 3 West, Clifton, NJ. Lots of parking is available.

Terrific food!!! Owner makes sure all the tables are taken care of and the staff is on point. The meat is always fresh and never super salty. The salads are generous and you’ll never get up feeling hungry. The chicken isn’t very tender however all the fish is cooked fresh and doesn’t seem frozen at all. My wife and I enjoy the fresh bread and taziki sauce that they bring out in the beginning. Also would def recommend the Bronzino as well as the salmon platter. French fries are to die for and the tomato sauce with the orzo is incredible. Best part is the place is BYOB!!! You really can’t go wrong!

I saw a couple of «It’s Greek To Me» restaurants in NJ and always wanted to go to one. I stumbled on to this one in Clifton and just fell in love with it. First off location is good — in the middle of the strip mall and second — they offer outdoor seating which is good for the summer! I ordered the grilled chicken entrée and it was so good! The food tasted fresh and it was very filling. The restaurant has a nice chill setting — perfect for a Sunday dinner. As for the staff — they were really attentive which is always a plus.

I’ve never been to Greece. Someday, I hope to go. I THINK this is how Greek food should taste! When I was in high school, I worked at a Greek restaurant near my home, and I sincerely loved the food. I was told that the recipes were authentic, and passed down through their family for generations. Therefore, it is my barometer for how Greek food«should be.» Well, It’s Greek to Me is as good as, if not better than that. I ordered the chicken souvlaki pita with a Greek salad(Greek for beginners.) Outstanding! The marinade for the chicken was perfect. The hand-made tzadziki sauce was outstanding. The salad & dressing was well balanced with just the right amount of vinegar«bite.» The price was appropriate, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was prompt & attentive. The only drawback was the knuckle-dragging troglodyte who was constantly talking with his mouth full and open-mouth smacking his food so loud I could hear it across the dining room. I don’t guess that’s the restaurant’s fault, though. I will order again.

Always an enjoyable experience! My husband and I wanted a healthier easy meal the other night, so we opted to dine at It’s Greek To Me. We ordered the hummus(served with pita bread) as an appetizer and shared it. It’s so fresh and delicious! We ordered the Small Greek Salad with Grilled Calamari to share for our entrée. Do not be deceived that it’s the«Small» salad. This salad is large enough for two people to share. We were stuffed when we left here. The grilled calamari here is amazing. It’s cooked perfectly. This restaurant is also BYOB. We didn’t bring a bottle this time, but definitely will in the future. We will be back often!
