Super small, but probably one of the better spots in twin River. I like the live entertainment they have. They really make it worth a stop. The layout of the bar is long and kind of awkward. The service is pretty slow but okay if you expect that. They don’t have many of the popular liquor a and beers and wines.

After going there for the last few rounds of drinks after my husbands work Christmas party I probably will never go back. While the beer selection is awesome and totally up my alley the bartender we had that night was awful. I felt as though we were bothering her by being there. She had no personality and didn’t crack a smile once while working. She kept rolling her eyes at patrons and being semi rude to people coming up from the casino ordering drinks. Now I totally understand that dealing with the public especially in a casino environment can be difficult but come on now! I’d rather take my money to a bar that the server appreciates our business lol. Oh well!

Disappointing Service, mediocre food, good beer selection. Lucky for us, we got a table right away(a party of 6), late on a Saturday night around 10pm. The menu was your typical pub fare, but the beer selection was great, that is, if you actually get your beer. Our waitress completely ignored us after we placed out orders, even after many attempts to get her attention. She hung around the bar, texted on her phone, chatted it up with other patrons, but seemed to not care at all about our table. We asked for a round of waters with dinner, by the time she got them to us(20 mins later) we had finished eating. We asked for another round of beers, they never made it. We were pretty peeved at the level of service and when we asked for the bill the waitress, dumbfounded, asked us «I thought you guys wanted another round of drinks?» We did…25 minutes ago we did. Adding injury to insult, it took us almost another 25 minutes just to pay our bill! She completely disappeared and if we weren’t in the middle of a casino where there are 10,000 cameras we might have just gotten up and walked out. Two hours we wasted inside, for a plate of mediocre pub food and one beer… two hours! Didn’t even want to gamble, we got the heck out of there as soon as we settled up since it was past midnight. On a positive note… our Über driver was hilarious and helped us turn the night around afterwards, and I technically didn’t lose any money gambling so hey, there is always that?

Food and beer is good but beware of the service. Our bar tender was mean, rude, and argumentative! Service is slow. Never got my food. Place is dead on a Saturday night. Beware.

My girlfriend and I came here after our usual spot had a very full parking lot and we didn’t feel like dealing with what would be the inevitable wait inside. We drove to twin river and decided to come specifically to Shipyard. They had some guy playing music in the corner. He was good but damn was he loud. He was trying to be heard over the already loud casino floor(because that’s where this place is randomly located in the middle of) as well as those talking at their tables. We could hardly think to ourselves over the noise. However, we went in expecting this somewhat. The food was pretty below average and quite expensive for the quality you’re receiving. We both got wings. She got mild — I got buffalo. Both were just alright. We definitely wouldn’t come here again for the food. The staff, however, is fantastic and may be a redeeming point about this place.

Poor service. The bartender looked at us never acknowledged us. Then just walked away. The bar was empty as well.

Limited dining menu — but a good place to check out. Nice bar seating if you’re going solo. I’m always hear later(9pm+) and really only come on the weekend but they seem to always have live music going which adds a nice touch. Usually a small group like a singer and a guitarist, and it’s a little more personal due to how close the stage is to the dining area.

I’d skip out on the Shipyard pub since they don’t seem like they need/want your business. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. I know they must’ve seen us since they cleaned the bar area next to us off. And we were actively looking at the menu for the first 10 minutes. The person at the register(which was like two seats over from us) was too worried about taking care of his receipts than about asking us if we wanted a drink or if we were hungry or anything. There were also 2 other people behind the bar doing nothing so not sure if they were bartenders or what but 20 minutes of waiting is WAYTOO long to not have someone come up and at least acknowledge you were there. The hostess is the one who said there were two seats available at the bar if we wanted to sit there. I’ve never had to wait so long.

Having heard so much about Shipyard, and being unwilling to wait 40 min at Wicked Good, my wife and I decided to give it a try. It was a busy night since REO Speedwagon was playing that night, so we were pleased to get a table. This place is loud! It’s definitely not a date night kind of place, but more like a game night place. No ambience here at all, which given the prices on the menu is a bit off putting. I ordered the fish & chips. The portion was generous. There were 2 good sized pieces of fish. I noticed that one of them was cooked more than the other, and then noticed that the fries were also inconsistently cooked. Some were undercooked; some were overcooked. As I was eating the fish, I got the impression that some of it was undercooked also. I left a couple of questionable chunks behind. While a majority of the fish was satisfying and tasty, I do have to say that the same meal at jeet is better and a lot less money. My wife ordered the pretzel blt burger. She had ordered it medium, but it came out medium well. She didn’t have any concerns about the quality of her food, but she would have another issue. When we had finished our drinks and were waiting for the check, my wife noticed that there was something in the bottom of her water glass: a strip of staples. Our waitress nearly fell over when it was pointed out to her. She had to go searching for a manager to report the issue. I guess there isn’t a specific manager for Shipyard because she left the restaurant and dragged a Twin River concession manager back with her. He apologized up and down too. When all was said and done, 30 minutes after the issue was reported, we were comped the fish & chips. Overall, the experience was less than stellar. They seemed to be understaffed also as our waitress was serving our entire side of the restaurant. I’m not sure that I would go back. If Wicked Good is too busy, I think I would rather hit up the food court.

I do enjoy this place. Though it can get a bit crowded. Beers are great & so are the wings. The reason for only 3 stars is that my sister had a bug in her beer and they didn’t offer another for free. She had to buy another. I know things happen & it’s only 5ish dollars but it would’ve been nice for them to at least offer.

This is a bold move for me. I enjoy the atmosphere here so much that it gets 4 stars pretty much automatically for me. This is one of the most enjoyable places to hangout and just relax. There is live guitar music most weekends and the theming is done in such a way that you feel like you have gone back to a simpler time. The menu here is VERY lmiting, I can never find anything I like to order… I pretty much only go here for the drinks which arent very good either… but thats my fault because I don’t drink beer. From my friends who do drink beer they all said its great. Food: very good but menu is slim mixed drinks: poor-bearable…yet to find one that tastes good beer: great atmosphere: relaxed/tavern Cleanliness: very clean service: great

Food was alright, service was terrible. We had to go ask for utensils after someone told us they would come back with them. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The new Shipyard( ) pub at Twin River Casino, was a new place to try for us. The unique background of this company brought dog racing & betting to the Twin River Casino. This Pub is a very small location which results frequent wait times and crowded seating. While the dog racing brings a new aspect of gambling to Twin River it is very poorly organized and takes away for the atmosphere of the Pub. Old men and women screaming at purposely blurred flat screens on a shared bench seat with you brings down this restaurant more than it raises it. The atmosphere of a pub or restaurant is one of the first and last impressions left with a person trying a new place. Sadly, the atmosphere alone would not draw me back, it actually made me want to leave several times through out the meal. This is a Restaurant/Pub that is poorly organized, there should be a designated area for dog racing and screaming old people and then a separate area for people looking to have dinner and enjoy good beer. Despite the atmosphere and organizational issues, the menu is sadly limited with few choices. Luckily a few of the choices cause a mouth watering sensation prior to ordering. One of which was the Potato Stackers, home made thin cut potato chips, coated in a light but bold buffalo sauce then layered with a variety of cheese, peppers, and a house cream cheese sauce that soothes the kick of the buffalo perfectly! Then these fancy nachos are topped with short ribs and bacon! Yummmmm!!! Our meals were not nearly as exciting as these Potato Stackers. We ordered the brisket sandwich and boneless wings. The wings had a great flavor — Asian Chili, with an even sweet and spicy combination. Sadly the brisket sandwich had little flavor and was rather dull, the best part was the onion sting topping. The best part of Shipyard was the beer flights offered with a decent selection of beers to try. The display of these flights made them 100x more appealing! Adorable mini mugs! Overall, Shipyard was a good experience– but not somewhere I would regularly visit. Might be a nice place to meet for drinks and apps, not a great dinner atmosphere.

Not the set up I expected but good time anyways. Great food. Had fig flatbread and potato stack. We would come back just for those. In house potato chips with beef and cheese with buffalo. Good stuff. Worth the trip.

Definitely not what I thought it would be. It is literally a little bar in the middle of the second floor of the casino. So for those who think this is a restaurant be warned. It is sort of enclosed and there are bar tables so that’s nice. I sat at the bar for better service. The servers were really kind which helped but it just wasn’t what I thought it was. Small basic food menu. I’d go for the drinks and to try the specialty tequila next time.

Hit up Shipyard to celebrate my birthday close to home while the snow was coming down last weekend.(Not at all a fan of Twin River, but, a trip south was out of the question…) Drafts were $ 5.50 for Shipyard Brews, with Bud only $ 3.75. Classic and fancy schmancy cocktails are also available. It’s upstairs at Twin River, so it’s smoke free. Big plus. Decent, short and sweet food menu is available too. Bar was never packed, despite being there on a Saturday. Plenty of tables here, simple décor, and well staffed. Will go back.

Love the shipyard pub! I had the fig and goat cheese flatbread, and a few gingerbread drafts. Sooo good! They have steak and cheese sandwiches, fish & chips, wings, and so much more! 10 draft beers and tons of amazing whiskey/bourbon/rums/tequilas. Free entertainment on the weekend as well! A great smoke free spot to stop on the weekends!

NOT what I expected. They were still serving Smashed Pumpkin on draft in mid-December when they should be serving Gingerbread. I asked the bartender, and I was told Gingerbread was in stock, however they were waiting to finish the Pumpkin!!! Wow. The menu appeared to be overpriced. And it just lacked the personality you would expect from a Shipyard Bar.(i.e Shipyard in Mystic, CT) I won’t be returning… 2 Star rating because of the friendly staff, that’s all.

Awesome atmosphere … Food was good, but VERY limited menu. The service was good … very friendly waiter, but we could tell he was stretched very thin. They had these cool electronic /tablet menus and a great selection of beer. They had a live band the night we went — they were great! I would definitely go back.
