Hair It Is

I have been a client of Cindy’s at Hair It Is for many years and she is the best. This is an awesome group of women who give great service and are warm and inviting. My teenage daughter and son also get their hair cut here and we have had many appointments for special occasions. Kaitlyn and Crystal give the best pedicures too!

Cant say anything about the actual service because I didn’t even make it in… Called to schedule an appointment and has an interesting reaction. I was calling to make sure they had someone that could blow dry really curly hair (not everyone can do it.) and they said they had a few girls that were really good at it. And then I asked if i could bring my own hair color and shampoo and conditioner (I use non-​toxic product) and the lady on the phone said «no, we don’t use anything we are not familiar with… OK??» with no room for me to explain why I am using something special… I get that they would not want someone to have a bad reaction, or maybe its about the money… but be nice about it! Oh well, they lost a potential customers that would have gone in every-​other, if not every, week.

I made an appointment with two other girls to get our hair done for a wedding. This place and the stylists TOTALLY got our day started on the right note.
I was a few minutes late, but they were nice enough to accommodate me. We all went in for blowouts (one of the girls also got a haircut) and ended up with gorgeous hair!
Not only that, but I was a bit shy to ask if they would allow us to drink wine that we brought with us. They didn’t just let us drink – they brought over chilled wine glasses for us to use! How cool is this place?
Thanks for an awesome styling experience, Hair It Is! If I’m ever in Rhode Island again, I’ll be back! :)

Awesome salon, super friendly staff. Krystal always does a great job with nails and my hair. I’ve gone to her for an updo as well, which was so beautiful and held up for 2 days. The salon is also reasonably priced.

Hair It Is is the BOMB! Professional, State of the Art Skill combined with care & all out pampering. This is the place to be. From hair to manis & pedicures they are THE BEST!

Cindy has been taking care of my hair for years and she’s one of the best. I’ve spent enough time there to tell you that all the women are very skilled in their profession from hair coloring, styling to eyebrow waxes and nail care. You won’t be disappointed.
