If you think this is good sushi you don’t know sushi. High prices, small amounts of fish. You can do better.

We have been coming to Enn since it opened many years ago and the food has always been amazing. Even the kids love the food here! The spicy tuna tostada appetizer is a great way to start the night. The kids love the gioza(dumplings). My favorite is the iunagi(eel) tempura maki. And the family’s favorite is the ume shiso(pickled plum paste and perilla leaf which is also know as Japanese basil) this type of maki roll is very difficult to find in most Sushi restaurants unless they offer traditional Japanese cuisine, so we are very happy to be able to get it here. My son is not fond of sushi so he opts for the chicken tempura; which they offer in the kid’s menu. The fish is always fresh and their cocktails are great. The kids love sitting at the sushi bar and watching them make the food, and why wouldn’t they? They are very good at what they do! We LOVE coming here, it is one of the only places that the whole family can agree on.

I read a bunch of positive reviews so I figured it was great. And don’t get me wrong the sushi was ok. But the service was awful. 20 minutes before we could order. Then another 30 or so before the food came. A couple close by actually left it took so long. Maybe a bad night. But it wasn’t that busy. Plenty of open seats. He waitress was nice but wasn’t very attentive. Probably won’t go back.

I returned to Enn this past weekend and I have to say the food was just as good as usual! We arrived around 6 and sat in the dining room. Someone in our section ordered the Sushi Boat– which looked amazing! We could hear them talking about how good it was! We ordered a few sushi rolls to share– all of which were delicious like always. Our waitress was more attentive and quicker than I’ve previously experienced there. She did disappear towards the end of our meal. I don’t know if she was taking a break or doing prep work in the back. When she did return to ask about dessert we asked for the check instead and explained no thank you we were running late to catch a show we had tickets for. This is where the process got slow. It took her almost ten minutes to return with the check. Then while I waited for her to return to take my credit card my friend started the car so we could hopefully still make the show on time. I waited almost another ten minutes for her to return to come get my card and return it to me. Luckily we made it to our show only a few minutes late. I’ve learned my lesson– next time remember to take cash, or stick to ordering out!

One of my favorites! The sushi is always terrific and the prices reasonable. We normally sit at the bar, which offers a nice quiet setting so you can have a conversation without having to yell over the music or TV. In all the times that I have been there, I can honestly say that I’ve never had anything but great service. Everyone here is very friendly and you can tell that they actually appreciate your business. It might be a little hard to find at first, but well worth the effort once you do. Definitely put this on your list of places to go.

Visiting from out of state. Used Unilocal to find sushi near our hotel. Went for early dinner and sat at the small bar. Service was great. Ordered tuna sashimi and the tuna tostadas for apps– awesome! Then got chicken teriyaki and yaki noodles with chicken-just as good. Went back for lunch the following day and again got tuni sashimi, Chilean sea bass, grilled salmon salad, harumaki fried pork spring roll and beef tataki. Everything was super fresh, homemade and delicious. Wish this place was in our hometown…

This place is great to get your sushi fix. I love dining in when i can at the sushi bar. And the décor is pleasant. Highly recommend anyone into sushi to try the Enn Nigiri special. The price for everything is generally higher than most sushi places in RI, but you get what you pay for: good service, freshness, and professionalism.

If you are looking for a great sushi restaurant in a convenient location, I highly recommend stopping here. Thursday nights are half priced bottles of wine, my girlfriend and I split a nice California Pinot Noir for $ 13, hard to beat that deal. She ordered: –garden salad with ginger dressing, for 3.50 the portion size was just right and the ginger dressing was delicious –Veggie Futomaki Roll Cucumber, avocado, asparagus, shiitake mushroom & cooked gourd. It was good but not great, would have loved some more veggies and less rice as it is an over-sized roll I ordered: –Summer Tuna Inside: avocado, spicy mayo, tobico, tempura flakes topped with maguro tuna & jalapeño and a creamy sauce. This was absolutely delicious and the presentation was great, will definitely be ordering it again. We split: –Lincoln Maki Asparagus tempura & sliced onion, wrapped with seared beef & avocado. My god was this one a home run, never had I tried something like this before. The combination of the asparagus and beef was delicious. All in all, the service was friendly and on a somewhat busy night it took about 30 minutes for our sushi to come to us. That was fine with us as it gave us more time to drink our wine. The restaurant was clean, the bar area pleasant, and the sushi bar has a lot of seating if you don’t feel like sitting at a table. And so begins our regular Thursday night sushi routine!

I stopped in today at 1127. I was happily surprised the door was open but was prepared to wait the 3 minutes. I walked in and before saying hello, the curly haired young girl pulled her cell from her back pocket to check the time. I knew it was all downhill from there. She said we are not open yet. I said ok — but you are in THREE minutes will that make a difference? She said OHIM just telling you because next time the door will still be locked. I said yes for the extra 3 minutes? She said YES. She had an attitude the entire time. When she gave me my order — I asked of all the typical sauces were in there and she looked at me like what do you mean? Well sushi stuff and tempura stuff — just a clarifying question. She listed them in a huff. Don’t get me wrong — the food here is good — but I doubt I will be back. Added: thank you Ken but it is highly doubtful. Take care

Having just moved to Lincoln from the Eastside, we were nervous to explore the local restaurants. I am happy to say that we have already found our sushi spot! This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is casual but sophisticated and the staff was fantastic. After ordering the same old rolls over and over, we were happy to see some new and inventive rolls on the list. We started off the meal with a seared tuna entrée served on tempura rice that was fantastic. For dinner we got the Blaze roll, which had fresh ingredients, tempura fried, and a sauce I could drink it was so good. We also got the Crack roll which was topped with thinly sliced lemon and roasted garlic chips. This little twist went perfectly with the fresh salmon and veggies in the roll. Other rolls that we are excited to try on our next trip included one that had chicken teriayaki and a surf and turf roll with beef and tuna. They also have a wonderful wine list and tons of weekly specials throughout the week. We were so happy to find this gem just around the corner from the Lincoln Mall!

Wanted to grab a quick bite before a movie, went to Asia Grille and it was packed! About a 45 mins wait!!, so we decided to go to Enn instead and were definitely happy we did. For apps, we ordered the Gyoza and crazy maki roll — both were very good. For entrees, I ordered the Japanese Curry with chicken that was piled on top of white rice. The first bite was just ok but with every additional bite, it got better and tastier. Nice spicy heat. My sister had the Yaki(stir fried udon noodles) with shrimp/scallops. It wasn’t bad but felt it lacked a bit of flavor. She ate off my plate more, lol. Both entrees came with a soup and salad. I feel Asia Grille is completely overrated but it’s cheap and will fulfill your Chinese food cravings. For a more refined and less congested experience, go down the street to Enn, it’s Japanese cuisine so prices tend to be higher and you won’t be seeing a Genreral Tso’s dinner combo here. =)

Enn has always been able to deliver great food and tonight was no different. I’ve come here over a dozen times– always fresh and delicious. The art that the chefs put into the sushi and other offerings is beautiful. Tonight we started with the spicy tuna tostadas, quite a treat in my book. Crispy rice and seaweed patties topped with chopped spicy tuna. I can’t say enough about the maki rolls– spicy tuna, sweet potato and the lion. All fresh and delicious! The ambiance is clean, casual and well lit in the dining room. The bar has about 10 – 12 seats, some hi tops and low tables with a tv. Check out their daily deals and get on their mailing list for % off coupons they send out regularly. Highly recommend!

A fantastic gem in Lincoln! Enn remains the best place for Sushi and Sashimi in Southern New England. Don’t even think about going elsewhere, there’s a reason why they win awards — consistent quality. Head chef Fumi is amazing. He selects the best fish and slices them perfectly. Nothing makes me happier than when they pull out the large side of tuna and slice carve up the bits and pieces. I would kill for an Omakase meal here. Sushi rolls are also fantastic. They have a wide variety of the large futomaki-style rolls, and more Americanized rolls. Really who doesn’t like randomly picking a couple of rolls and experiencing flavors? Hot meals are great as well. I am a huge fan of the Gyoza(dumplings) which they get impossibly crispy on the bottom. The soups are amazing as well, though the entrée bowl is punchbowl sized so be warned. I love the curry which is really satisfying with a big pile of rice. Desert is wonderful as they feature Japanese ice creams and pastries — if you have room. The interior is clean and the service is fantastic. I am a loyal patron and I will remain so as long as they maintain quality — something I do not fear will change.

It’s funny; I kept trying to find a reason to not like this place. But after years of coming here, I finally gave in. Let me explain: it’s in a small strip mall off of 116(most people drive right by it), it’s interior is dying for some love(its not very warm and inviting), and they can be a bit pricey. Here’s where they win me over: food quality and service. The bar and wait staff are almost always more than attentive(I had one experience where no one came to our table after being seated). Sure, some of the sushi rolls are pricey(Crack Roll!), but it always tastes delicious. Speaking of the crack roll, it is like crack… addictive! I also get the Nabeyaki soup. Udon noodles, chicken, shiitake mushrooms, poached egg, vegetables… It’s big enough to feed two. Try the poki maki, too. A hint of wasabi(which under normal circumstances, I’m not a fan of), albacore tuna, scallions, and green tea salt. Awesome. I suggest coming to Enn at least once to all of my friends. They always end up becoming regulars. You should too!

This is the best sushi in RI. It is always so fresh and delicious. My wife and I have pretty much just stopped trying other sushi joints because they just never compare. They have a different special each night of the week, great staff, and always a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed, rather extremely pleased.

Enn’s provides an enjoyable ambiance for dinner in a large, comfortable space, with great service. I came here with a large group for dinner recently. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time, and we enjoyed our dinners, including a lot of sushi, but I did not find my own sushi experience to quite live up to everything else. Our group came here on short notice on a Saturday night, and we were seated and waited on promptly. I was impressed with their sake selection. Our waitress was excellent, very organized and thorough taking our orders, and when it came time to receive our checks, we found them to be equally well organized. We ordered a variety of items, including soups, salads, grilled meats, tempura, sushi, and sashimi. All were served promptely, and(most important) all were served at the same time. We were checked on frequently, and water glasses were kept full. We have one person in my group who always orders sashimi. She found it to be satisfying, though not exceptional. I thought the sushi menu included an unusually large number of rolls with eel and crab compared to more traditional fishes, and a significant number of these were labeled as «spicy,» either served with things like chili flakes or a spicy sauce. I have no problem with that, I do like spicier rolls, but when the majority of the rolls for these kinds of fish are labeled as spicy, I often wonder why. I also typically order a sweet potato roll, and I found the roll here to be a bit chewier and less crispy than at many other sushi bars. Some of my rolls fell apart as I was trying to eat them. The rolls came with better-than-average amounts of ginger and wasabi — I liked the wasabi, it had good flavor without being overly hot. If I return to Enn(and I will be in the area from time to time), I would enjoy sampling some of the other items on their menu. Perhaps I just did not find items which hit the spot for me on this particular night.

The ambiance is nice. Minimalistic, modern Japanese. As you walk in you can choose the bar area on the left, the dining area on the right or the sushi bar. Sarah waited on us and she was sweet, efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. I got two rolls(Spicy salmon Uramaki and Crazy Maki — Shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, flying fish roe & spicy mayo) and some Unagi sashimi. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and it was made to order. I would go back. Not many sushi places around Providence, I like, this is one of them…

Still keep coming back and the sushi is still great! For a period of a few months the service was a little shaky and the sushi although still great was not as good as it used to be. But the past few times we have been here, the sushi and the service has been better than ever. Enn will continue to be my default sushi bar. I have never been truly disappointed coming here. I still highly recommend them and look forward to dining there again soon!

This local gem is owned and operated by a Japanese native, and you can tell. The food is authentic and delicious. I work down the road from here, and I have come in twice for lunch, and once for take out during lunch. Their lunch deals are great – you can get a really delicious bento box full of chicken katsu, rice, two fried shrimp dumplings, salad, japanese pickles and rice along with miso soup for $ 10. It’s delicious, and the perfect size. I am not a fan of the orange salad dressing, but besides that, the box is perfect and authentic. The miso soup isn’t too full of greens, and coming from a person who isn’t a big fan of miso soup, it’s really tasty. I’ve also had the tamago and inari sushi as I am not a fan of raw sushi, and they were both exactly what I expected: wonderful. For take out, the rolls(I get sweet potato) are great and come with a salad and water. The price can’t be beat, and it’s a great lunch. They are prompt in having the order ready as well, and it is in neat(read: will not leak) packaging. If you are looking for a long, leisurely lunch, this is your place to go. Great for work meetings that don’t have a time constraint. That being said, you will not get a quick lunch here, UNLESS you order take out. The waitresses also seem to not understand that during lunch sometimes people don’t order appetizers or dessert because they’re on their lunch hour. This rating is more like a 4.5 – the food is delicious and the price is right, but the service is a little slow.
