CVS corporate runs this place into the ground. Apparently Unilocal wants me to add a little more detail so here goes: Staff is treated badly, underpaid, fired because little teenagers there like to file sexual harassment complaints because someone put their hand on their shoulder while explaining something, Not enough staff to work the store properly to meet the expectations of corporate.

The first CVS store I have been to that seems to have ample employees in their pharmacy. On my visits they always seem to have a minimum of 4 employees or more.(9÷17÷15, they had 7 employees at noon) ******(NOTE: I can not account for the staff and turnover outside of my personal customer experience. I am NOT a disgruntled employee. I AM A CUSTOMERONLY)***** I have visited other CVS locations that are sometimes only staffed with 2 pharmacy employees. I personally worked in pharmacy benefit management for over 25 years and have seen stores that really struggle because they are not sufficiently staffed. Its sad when the pharmacist has to run the cash register. It takes away from the patients being counseled on their medications. I did have a negative experience at this pharmacy with the pharmacy technicians. They think they work for your insurance company. THEYDONOT!!! For example, on one occasion I was dropping off my son’s rx. The tech looked at my son’s prescription and told me the drug wasn’t covered by my insurance company. She didnt type the rx into the computer and didnt attempt to bill my insurance. I knew she was wrong but I looked up my insurance formulary to confirm. My son had to wait several days for his medication due to her misinformation and them not having the medicine in stock. Again the pharmacy doesnt work for your insurance company. If they tell you the medication is not covered or needs authorization-tell them you want to see the rejected claim from the insurance and contact your insurance company. If they dont type in the prescription then they have no clue if a drug is covered or not, they are only making an assumption.
