I just lowered my stars from 2 to 1. This morning I came across Riverside Seafood’s facebook page. I posted a message letting them know I reviewed him on Unilocal and I wanted them to know that, as a long time customer I was very disappointed last crawfish season and why. I said I will try them again and hopefully next season will be better, and a copied and shared my Unilocal review on their wall. I got a notification saying«Riverside seafood has commented on your post» so I checked it and their response was«Everyone’s prices were high this past year. We have no control over the prices the wholesalers charge.» I tried to reply to their comment«You missed the point all together! It wasn’t the prices I was disappointed with. It was that I PAID for 5 lbs of crawfish and only got 3.5 lbs.» But by the time I finished typing this, they had deleted my post all together. This is no bueno customer service! Like I said, I have been a customer for at least 8 years. I don’t know if they’ve changed hands recently or what, but I’ll just be buying my crawfish elsewhere, probably Birch’ seafood. They are good Godly people who go above and beyond to serve their customers.
