Wow. What can I say. A total train wreck. Went tonight for my daughter in law’s birthday. Tuesday night, 530 for God’s sake. Food was wrong for 5 out of 7 people. Service was slow but more the kitchen’s fault than servers. Food wasn’t even good. Bar service was at a crawl. Spent $ 162 and most of us couldn’t eat what we were served. If I could give a zero I would.

I received a gift card for Christmas, so I decided to give this location another try. It’s one of the two Lexington OS locations. It was the first established location and I must admit that even though I usually hate to navigate Nicholasville Road, I don’t mind this part of Nicholasville Road. The time before this time that I ate here, the chicken was raw and I vowed to not ever come back… low and be hold, here I am. My daughter and I arrived on a Monday around 6:30 and there was about a 10 minute wait. A huge mention is that if you sign up for their email notifications, almost every single week they will send you an email to use on Monday, for a free Bloomin’ Onion. I personally don’t care for the battered onion concoction and you literally couldn’t give me one. But I wonder if that’s the reason that the place was so packed tonight… This time, I ordered a side salad and we split an order of cheese fries. The cheese fries come in two sizes, small and regular. Personally, I don’t think that the«regular sized» is very big, especially when you compare other comparative franchise’s cheese fry appetizer options. Maybe that’s the fatness in me, but I’m just being honest. Even though I requested that the dressing on my side salad come on the side, it wasn’t and the salad was drenched in dressing, I still ate it. Note to waitresses far and wide… notepads don’t show weakness, it often results in accuracy. As we left, I noticed that the place had cleared out, most of the seats were open… but the place was a wreck. Trash was all over the floor and the cardboard coasters were everywhere. Meh. I’ve experienced better.

It was time to burn another gift card. We strolled into Outback and I decided, sadly, to be healthy. I ordered a grilled Chicken Cobb salad. I will say it was fresh and well-assembled. I don’t know for sure if they actually wood-grill their food but man, that chicken had an amazing smoky flavor/smell to it. The slightly spicy ranch very delightful as well. The only thing about it that I didn’t like is that I had to watch my wife eat a delicious, medium-rare ribeye steak right across from me with a loaded sweet potato. She was nice enough to give me a bite… Melt in your mouth tender, grilled perfectly. Just the way steak should come. But hey, she has an iron deficiency. I can’t get mad at her. She needed that red meat. Yeah, it’s okay. It’ll be fine. I knew I should have built a menu fort. What was I thinking?

Delicious food; reasonable prices; nice décor; good service; they publish nutrition info data on line. They check off most of the right boxes. My only reservation is the location… I’m not a fan of the Nicholasville Road corridor.

We got our food all at different times, our waitress messed up our check 3 times in a row, and we’ve been waiting to get out credit cards back for 30 minutes.

It was almost really perfect! We both ordered the flatiron steak with shrimp and our sides were for me the garlic Parmesan fries with a salad, and for him were regular fries and a salad. The salads were great! They were fresh and crispy and the salad dressing on the side was as requested. The blooming onion was also very good as an appetizer. The meals when we got it looked great, but when we cut into the flatiron steak, it was undercooked from what we ordered. Their were also only 4 shrimp on a skewer with the steak. We both found the steak to be over seasoned and too spicy. The shrimp also was over seasoned and mine were slightly blackened, which made them crispy with charcoal. They were seasoned so much I could not even taste the shrimp! For dessert, he had the dr. Pepper float that he loved, and I had the caramel salted cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was out of this world! All in all, a good meal!

Best cheese fries in town. Quality steaks and seafood. My personal favorite is the salmon. The steak seasoning is very popular but I always ask for lite, which is perfect for me! The carrot cake is also fabulous!

Tonight I went out for dinner alone to treat myself. I had the smaller prime rib, rare, with sauteed mushrooms and onions, and the signature baked potato soup starter. The waiter gave me a small loaf of brown bread still warm from the oven, which came with butter, and it was really good. The potato soup was delicious, I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Both the rare prime rib and the sauteed mushrooms and onions arrived together, and the flavors were perfect. Everything was delivered in a timely manner, which is even more important when you are dining alone. My server was attentive, without being annoying. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. My meal, including tip and a sweet tea, came to $ 24.

Lets start with the very uncomfortable booths, they are the worst. Then we are served a loaf of bread that was colder than the butter served with it. The baked potato was smaller than the palm of my hand and I don’t have large hands. My side salad was served with 2 small strips of onion and iceberg lettuce, Yuck! When our waitress brought us a bottle of steak sauce, the outside of the cap was covered in sauce and dried sauce was running down the side. When asked about this, the waitress never apologized, just asked if we wanted a different bottle. Uh, Yes! The meal was underwhelming to say the least. There are too many choices out there for me to spend my time and money for a good dinner. Sorry Outback, but you just got your last visit from me last night.

Had a wonderful dinner there tonight with great friends. I was a bit disappointed they got rid of the Moonshine glazed ribs. I still got the ribs And they were wonderful. My wife got the filet and shrimp and was very happy.

Had a great meal tonight. I ordered the No Rules Pasta with Shrimp and a side of Sautéed Mushrooms. It’s definitely my favorite thing on the menu. If you’re in the mood for steak, the fillet is amazing here! So tender and juicy — you won’t need steak sauce. If you’re into the vino, there’s a riesling that is quite tasty on the wine list. Give it a sip. Looking for something lighter? Try the burger or prime rib dip sandwich. They come with fries or a side of your choice and are really good for lunch. I’ve never had a bad experience at Outback. Love this location!

I forget about this place! We came in on a Friday night and had a pretty long wait, but we didn’t mind. Our server was doing the best she could with the amount of people in the restaurant. It took a whole to put in our orders and to get our food. The said was a little disappointing… my Caesar was just a few romaine lettuce leaves with some dressing. The rest of my meal came and it made up for the salad. The garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful and I order a small steak medium rare and it was really great! Over all it was pretty good.

Silverware was filthy. Then my glass was filthy. Have been coming here for years and really disappointed. The manager was very apologetic and gave us a gift card, but I doubt we will use them.

We were recently married and received some Outback gift cards for a wedding gift. Due to family visiting, we only got to take a one night honeymoon in Lexington(we live about an hour and a half away). We went to Outback on a Monday night. We were seated right away. Even though our server had two large tables, she gave us great service. My husband had a slice of Prime Rib that was HUGE. It was cooked perfectly. Being a chef himself, he is not easy to impress but he was very happy with the meal. I had a filet and lobster tail that was yummy. I have always been a fan of Outback but this was by far the best experience I have had. We will definitely visit them again.

I also have liked this place. I get the outback special for $ 9.99, which includes a 6 oz sirloin steak, and 2 sides. I had usually gotten the wedge salad which was huge and delicious, with a good deal of blue cheese, but last time I went they charged extra for this salad, which they had never done before in the past few years. The other side I usually get is the baked potato; you can get it loaded(bacon, sour cream. cheese) w/no extra cost. Delicious and a great deal. The restaurant is a bit dark — which can be nice. Service has also been good. We go there maybe once every 4 – 5 months for the last four years, and service has never been bad. One time, we had to wait«1 hr for a table,» but during that time they gave us free steak samples and free drinks, and the wait was actually more like 40 min.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this steakhouse had excellent tilapia! Veggies and salad were fresh and tasty. Service was excellent.

Outback has a well enstablished name with a good reputation. However this one is NOT on top of the list. when you first sit down they bring you bread. Normal its warm and fresh right out of the oven, but not only was the bread not warm but it was old. I asked for some fresh bread and what was brought out was still not warm but at least it wasn’t old. Not what you would expect from an Outback. –1 star for low quality. Another disappointment was the TV’s. Those TV are from the 90’s. If your thinking about sitting at the bar to enjoy a beer while you watch a football game… think again. I have 20⁄20 vision and still had to get up and walk closer to see the score. –1 star for out of date. Other than that I liked the place. Low lighting gave a relaxed atmosphere, and the food was up to par. My steak was a good M-W and packed with flavor. The Famous Bloomin Onion was as always, a delicious heart burn packed, over sized deep fried onion. All in all I enjoyed it, but expected better. I am in no rush to return.

The bread at the beginning was great. I don’t know what kind of bread it was but it was full of flavor and very soft. That bloomin onion is sooo good! I think it’s a pretty good steak for the price. It’s not all fancy either so you can just go as you are and enjoy the food! The cheese fries are sooo good too. Wow. You can easily split them with a few people since they give you a whole mound of em.

Good Shrimp, pork chops and salmon ate all these at my trip and everything was great including the mashed potatoes, and green beans. Venture outside the standard blooming onion and steak and I know you won’t be dissapointed
