No no no don’t ever step foot in here I’m warning you now. The lady doesn’t even know how to add on a cash register… And she barely knows any English. Very ratchet and disgusting food. Please do not waste your time and money!

Was peckish and needed a place for a bite until I had a meeting in Lewis Center so went in here. First thing I noticed was the service — crappy!!! The woman taking our order looked and acted like she wanted to be anyplace else in the world other than there. She was terse with me when repeating herself with my order when I couldn’t understand WTH she was saying and was trying to rush me even though only two people were in there and they were waiting for their order. I ate in and again, service was crappy. She brought and practically dumped my order on the table bringing it out on the red plastic tray and in Styrofoam containers. Had to ask her for a plate. The food itself wasn’t bad. well the fried rice was pretty darn good but those fried dumplings looked like they had been swimming in grease all their lives. And things you’d normally get thrown in to your bag free at other joints like the crispy noodles to put in your soup? Expect to pay 50cents for them. One funny(ish) thing is while waiting for my food I was reading the menu on the wall to see the usual suspects and then one I didn’t see coming — Gang Bang Shrimp. I wanted to mention it to them but said Nawwwww. In the menu though it is listed as gang pang shrimp. Would I go back? Only if I really had to and it would strictly be carry out.

The food is good but service is sub-par. When we entered and walked up to the counter the lady looked at us and did not come take our order. Clearly looked like we interrupted her day by being a customer. Would have gave this 4+ stars but the lack of friendliness and customer service takes it down. She projected an attitude like why are you bothering me.

Sometimes good and sometimes very bad. Never been impressed and there has got to be better Chinese food in the Lewis Center area

Love the food here. Best sesame chicken so far from a take out place. You can special order(less spice or more, etc). Have tried several different dishes and all are very good. They have lunch specials, so if you are there at lunch time, be sure to look at the board on the wall on the left as you walk inside. Very clean and fast.(maybe it’s the time of day we go in??) Portions are huge, even lunch portions. The last reviewer was correct, Main dish served in take out styro but that didn’t put me off as I closed my lid and took the left overs home with me. Rice came on a styro plate. We always eat there and they bring it to our table. We have never had an issue with owners/servers/cooks. I didn’t give 5 stars because I always try crab rangoon any time it is on the menu and if you can’t taste the crab then you don’t get the star.

This was one of those«I shoulda Unilocaled first» moments but, I was in the neighborhood Krogering and saw this place in the line of shops. I enter the place just after 3pm and see absolutely no one, walk up to the high counter to find a woman napping behind the high counter and seemed to be annoyed that I was interrupting her siesta. I looked through the large menu listing of the usual Amer-asian foods and placed my order for Singapore rice noodles and egg drop soup to eat there in the small dining area. After a few shouts to rouse the cook from the back my order was being prepared. Out first comes a pint of egg drop soup in a plastic tub, searing hot. Next the noodle dish comes out in a closed Styrofoam box. Huge serving, fresh veggies and nicely spiced. They only offer bottled drinks here and I get that most of their business must be take-out being out in the country tween Cbus and D’ware. I was the only person in the dining room and no one else came in during my visit. On my way out I dropped by the counter only to see my nap interruption was only a short one so I exited as quietly as possible but didn’t think I’d disturb anyone over the loud country music station playing. While the food and portion was ok, the service and presentation was truly lacking…

The food is decent in a crunch, but the service is horrible! The final straw for me is the wife/co-owner’s attempt to up charge $ 2 for a side of rice and $ 1 for two table spoons of duck sauce… ridiculous!

Ordered take out from this place once… will never go back. The service was slow and unfriendly, even though I was the only customer in the entire place at the time. The food wasn’t horrible, but a little bland and unimpressive. I would have given it two stars, but the week after my experience I was grocery shopping in the same shopping center, and witnessed the woman who works there hacking up phlegm and spitting it on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. So gross.

Meh. This is a typical carry-out Asian restaurant. Nothing more, nothing less. The food was OK, but definitely not great and it took them almost 15 minutes to give me the soup and spring roll that I ordered to go(I clearly interrupted their lunch break). But the place is in the same center as my doctor’s office and for less than $ 10, I’m OK with it.

So, my kids were disappointed when Mulan closed by our place, as they were the go to Asian Cuisine carry-out for their Beef Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken cravings. We tried Ming Flower(not so good), and I tried another cheap-o carryout place near Ming Flower(which was really bad, even given the many glowing reviews it has received on Unilocal). So, I go to the Aspen Fitness on 23 at Lewis Center Rd. I noticed a place next to the«Bread and a little bit of greyish meat» sub shop. Taipei has the same menu that every other quick carryout«Chinese» place has. However, the people working there are really nice, and the place is very clean and the tables and chairs are a step up from the McDonalds type furniture you see at the other carry-out places. There are also many more tables to sit at than most other similar places. My daughter loved their sesame chicken, and my other daughter thought the beef friend rice was«OK». So, if you are looking for some fast(ready in 5 – 10 minutes) decent Asian carryout, or a quick place to stop in an get a good meal, stop by.
