Last time I went here the chicken was really chewy and just over all not good. Not to mention I found hair in my food. Threw it away.

The food was delicious and wonderfully balanced in spices ingredients and not too oily. I had the General Tso Chicken. The service was very friendly and attentive. I’ll be coming back.

We just moved to the area and heard good things about Hunan J. As promised, it’s excellent! Food has fantastic flavor (especially if you like it spicy), is always piping hot and very reasonably priced. Plus, the people are wonderful — very efficient with phone orders and polite in person. I’m so glad we heard it through the grapevine, so I thought I would pass it along. Bön appetit!

If you are looking for atmosphere this is not the place. But if you are looking for good food at a reasonable price then eat here.

Hot pepper chicken is delicious and very spicy! Very consistent taste every single time that it has been ordered. Tried triple curry — it’s ok– spicy too. Tried the pad thai to go — wasn’t that great. Could have been due to it being a take out and not a dine in order. Chicken lomein ok. Only have tried take out — no dine in experience yet.

The food was excellent. General tso chicken and sesame chicken are on point. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good Chinese food.

The inside of the restaurant is nice and simple with about 10 tables total. Immediately when you walk in you are greeted. I came for takeout that I have dined in previously. I had the chicken lo mein which was actually pretty good I’ll be back

This place was open on Christmas. We went to get a snack since we were not having Christmas dinner until later. We were greeted by a very friendly man. Who had our food hot and waiting for us.
The food was your average fare. The hot n sour soup was hot and delish and my boyfriend enjoyed the pad thai.

A great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Definitely our go-​to in Lewis Center. 4 stars instead of 5 because the inside of the restaurant isn’t that nice and the service is kind of slow. If we are just talking food it’s 5 stars.

Another great small, hole in the wall Asian eatery tucked away in strip center off a busy part of Old State Road that has been on my «to try» neighborhood radar. I stopped in for a late lunch and was the only person in this small but comfortable restaurant.
Even going in as late I still was able to order from their lunch specials that go until 3:30pm each day. My order was promptly taken and I was delivered a wonderful hot rich bowl of their egg drop soup. And after a short wait my order of sesame chicken was presented. Large juicy pieces of white meat, fried tempura style with a sweet sesame sauce, veggies and paired with a good portion of their house friend rice.
The menu here covers most of the usual Amer-​Asian favourites plus they offer some Thai specialties. For the most part this place seems to be a great small dine-​in/​take-​out/​delivery neighborhood Asian restaurant and well worth checking out if you’re the area. Decent prices, large portions, prompt, friendly service in a clean environment.

This place is a hidden gem. In a land filled with commercial restaurants, this place never disappoints. Don’t be fooled with those other joints, this one is legit.

This may sound bad, but I will judge a place by their Pad Thai… If I love it, you have me for life… Wellllllll, this place has me for life!!! On my first visit here, I ordered the House Pad Thai… It has chicken, shrimp, and beef. Cooked with egg, thin rice noodles, bean sprouts, scallions, carrot in Thai sauce. Ohhh so good… mind you, not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely passed my taste test!
They seem to do a lot of takeout here…
The menu offers a mix of Hunan and Szechwan, Mandarin as well as Thai.
Been here so many times now, I’ve tried so many different items and I’m ALWAYS very pleased with everything!!!
Always great service, always fresh food, and always oh soooooo good!!! Oh yeah, and huge portions… How could I forget about that…
Anywho, this is a regular stop for dinner for me when I’m on this side of town… You MUST stop in for a great dinner sometime!

I’ve only been here twice, but plan on making it a ritual. I stop here for dinner before our Tuesday night monthly Arbonne meeting at Little Bear Golf Course.
The staff is very friendly and it’s a nice little place! The thing is… it’s NEVER been busy the times I’ve been here. I have seen lots of people come through the door for pick-​up.
The first thing I tried was the General Tso’s chicken! It was AMAZING! None of that fatty, soggy chicken! This was white meat and was VERY flavorful! Not overdone or overcooked either!
The food is always hot and fresh! The hot and sour soup is TOP NOTCH! Love it!
I always look forward to doing dinner here!

Got carry out for the first time from this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Had general tso chicken, house fried rice, egg drop soup and egg rolls. We went basic for our first visit and it was delicious. They gave me a 10% discount when I paid for no reason. Will return for sure to venture further. Previous reviewers were right — interior isn’t anything fancy but I am ok with that.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Friendly family run business. Very good food and big portions. Not a great atmosphere, but we will eat there again.

Great staff and consistent food. I get the same thing every time, Szechuan Chicken, and it always tastes like I remembered it the last time (and what I’m craving at the time).
Great local spot for some take-​out!

First, let me preface that I am Asian and I am originally from San Francisco, so my standard for Asian food is probably higher than most. Ordered take out. Very nice staff. Seems to be a nice seating area for dining in. Why did I give it 2 stars? The food… meh. Very American-​ized Chinese food. So, if you don’t mind «brown sauce,» (whatever that is), then you’ll have no problem with the food. If you’re looking for something more authentic tasting… not the place for you.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant where the food is always fresh out of the wok. Large pieces of white meat chicken cooked fresh to order and it is not that prebreaded fastfood style chicken. The most friendly family staff I have ever met.

Small hole in the wall with Very good food at a good price. And very friendly staff. We will definetly go back often.
